Comfy beds and pillows although we got twice beds as opposed to a double as it was a fair bit cheaper. Good location, it is noisy being off khaosan road but quite than you'd expect, didn't have any trouble sleeping. Staff are helpful, friendly and someone was always there for any questions. Showers and toilets cleaned regularly.
Only one female toilet on our floor (though despite hostel being almost full, I only waited a couple of times) Serious lack of hooks both in rooms and showers to hang towels etc!

Location is in the middle of Khao San (which could be a hit or miss depending on the person). And value is really good for what the Yes Kaosan can offer. Wifi is strong, too.
Pretty hard bed. Serviceable but still pretty hard.

the two ladies who run the desk are fun. one is full on friendly, the other seems moody but she isnt! she has a sarcastic sense of humour ( some might not get it). its very cheap for the location!

The value for money is amazing. Location is superb...a quiet hotel in a bustling area. Staff were lovely. I couldn't believe how cheap it was. It's definitely not for someone who wants a fancy stay but definitely a great budget hotel. Will stay again every time I go to Bangkok...there are lots of cute stray cats around. I liked to buy them barbecue chicken for 20 baht and give them a snack to make their day better. Maybe you could do that too :)
No complaints at all.
