I loved this hostel! It was comfortable, air conditioned, the bedroom and bathrooms were all clean. Good wifi. The staff was very helpful and kind. It is also in a great location in the old part of the city, with lots of coffee shops and breakfast spots nearby.
It is not a very social hostel. There are not organized hostel events and guests have their own rooms. This is great if you are looking for a quiet private stay but may be isolating if you are a solo traveler looking to meet others.

Stay Here hostel is the best. I've lived at many hostels in Thailand (and globally) and Stay Here is my favorite. It has been my home for over a month. It is a clean and quiet hostel with a zen vibe that seems to be maintained by the staff and guests. Def NOT a party place. Wow and Daisy are the best hosts and the cleaning staff are so kind and detailed. Thanks for being such considerate, amazing people. I "stayed here" ;) with my husband and our friend, and we made friends as well and had some amazing conversations in the smoking area. (420 friendly) Super clean, comfy/huge bed, gorgeous building, spacious, space to do yoga/exercise/meditate, many *clean* bathrooms, lovely neighbors and kitties, especially Junior (black and white cat). Thank you for arranging the furniture for us to do yoga, and giving us new years eve fruit juice and fruit! So generous. My spouse and I will be back next year. Thank you for speaking Thai with me. We love you!
Bring earplugs. The neighborhood chatter, garbage trucks and fighting kitties begins at 5am. :D Still an amazing place and still got some incredible sleep here.

I loved the comfort of the beds. I liked the social areas, and that it had a kitchen. It is a peaceful place. And it is very close to some great cafes and Thai restaurants. They told me all private rooms were booked at one point, so I booked a dorm immediately, and when a private room came available within minutes, they helped me get it booked on booking. Very sweet. I ended up staying 2 weeks! Completely worth it! I'll be back!
I didn't like that any time someone talked in the social area downstairs it sounded like someone was speaking right outside my bedroom door, the floor is wood so it doesn't keep out the voices downstairs.

I loved how quiet and set back this place was. It was really clean, the staff were super friendly and helpful. It was so close to everything and being within the old city, it was less busy with traffic and people. Lots of space to sit out with your room. The beds were extremely comfortable too.
The showers were cold but I figured out if you used less pressure it was warmer. The bathrooms are wet rooms so it could have done with having a container to put your stuff into whilst showering but this is minor. I came back and stayed again as did a lot of travellers I met there.

One of the best hostels that I’ve stayed. Very nice energy, friendly stuff. Good kitchen where you can cook. Fridge, blender, toaster, even beautiful plates. The place is very quiet and comfortable. Close to the park where they have free yoga every morning. First flour is very nice to chill, work and talk. It’s like a bit coffee place. You also can go yoga on the first flour which very nice. Place is extremely clean. I liked their fresh and ironed bedsheets 😻. Prices are very good, because I get great value for this. Really recommend this place. Thank you for this experience! I Love Chiang Mai.

This is such a nice place to stay! We stayed 1 night in a private room and then 2 nights in a 4-bed dorm, and both were great and had air conditioning. In the dorm there was a light and outlet at each bed, and since there were only 4 beds there was enough room for everyone’s bags. Very clean and there are plenty of bathrooms. They have some of the comfiest beds/sheets we’ve had in a hostel. It’s a very peaceful place, the other guests were chill and respectful. They only have staff during regular business hours but they have an easy self check-in process if you arrive later. Wifi worked well, and there are some nice common areas. Really good value for money.

The staff was super nice and helpful. I liked that I was allowed to have my luggage stored there before my check-in time, and past my check-out time because my flight wasn't until much later. They were kind enough to let me go into my room hours earlier than my check-in time as soon as they finished cleaning it because I came in so early in the morning. I loved that they had lotion, mosquito repellent, and all those other things ready for their guests. I liked the free coffee and water too.
I got a bit confused by the towel situation. We get one with the room and then we can rent an extra. I think I didn't get a towel, so I just rented one but it was fine because it was cheap.

The QUALITY and CLEANLINESS of the place. The quality decor and attention to detail was great and it felt like a boutique hotel which had been newly made, although it has been running for a few years. Free tea and coffee water and bananas. The bedding was also good quality. I witnessed them change the already clean filters on the air conditioner as part of the routine. The people here generally stay here for weeks or even months at a time and really made the place feel like a friendly home. It is small and mainly has solo/double rooms and only one dorm of 4 which gives it a brilliant small family vibe with plenty of different areas of the house to socialise or work in. Very comfy sofas and a very good kitchen with use of all mod cons and a even a blender. Great location, central and yet quiet. Would come back here again in a heartbeat.
NOT A SINGLE THING. Been trying to think for ages. Maybe put a shelf near each bed in the dorm?

Surprisingly nice hostel. Actually one of the few in Chiang Mai that have soft mattresses. They also have a really big communal area where you can do concentrated work or meet others and also a little bit of outdoor space to sit in the sun (depending on he time of day). You don't have that often in Chiang Mai. I found it really good for my needs (digital nomad). Unlike other hostels they also provide a decent kitchen for guests as well - including a stove, microwave, toaster and a communal fridge. Everything you need to cook for yourself if you're up to it. Best thing, though is the location. You are in a really quiet street away from the hustle and bustle, no road noise, no scooters - you feel like in a village. But you walk 2 mins and you're right in Chiang Mai...so it's a hidden gem.
The rooms are quite small and the top bunks have no side railing, so I felt a little insecure sleeping in the upper bunk, risking a fall, given that the beds are also not the widest. This could definitely be improved.

We stayed here for 6 nights in total, one of the cleanest hostels we’ve stayed in when backpacking around SE Asia. Very clean rooms and bathrooms, A/C is great, the beds were really comfy and it’s great value for money in a good but quiet location. They let us keep our bags for one day/night while we went to Elephant Nature park too. Will definitely be back if we come back to Chiang Mai
Walls were a bit thin as you could hear the people next to us a few nights but only really matters if you have a loud neighbour and not really much the hostel can do about that!
