The beachview room is really nice, right on the beach. Staff is very friendly. The place is very quiet. On the main road, the friendly man with the bike rental shop offers discounts for By Beach guests. You really do need your own transportation, you won't see much just on foot. I combined my stay here with training at Fitkoh, which is only a few minutes by scooter. The garden is well kept.

The place is a bit run down; rooms/bathroom is quite dated, for example the door didn't shut properly. The buildings all look like it had better days. Could use a refurb and new paint job in the near future. Still, good value for money, so I'll be back next time I'm on Koh Samui.

The location was perfect, beautiful quiet beach almost to ourselves. We could walk from there to bars and restaurants and swim. The staff were friendly and our rooms were cleaned when we asked. The gardens were lovely. The room was big.

There were signs up about live music that were old and could have been taken down. We would have liked to have stayed next to our family but we couldn't be moved but to be fair we should have made a request about that. The location of our bungalow wasn't as nice as others as it was at the end next to where the bikes and cars get parked so we were disturbed a bit. We asked a few times to book a massage but even though the lady called someone, she never told me if it would be possible.

By Beach resort, is on its own quiet private beach, with lots of sealife in the water over the corals. If you borrow their free kayak, and snorkel around the beach. The location is one of the best, if your looking for a quiet getaway. Best value in Koh Samui. You may find it difficult on your first night, if your not used to the heat during Thailand summer with just a fan. So pay a little extra for air-con!.

the property is on a beach which is perfect for watching sunsets, it was truly amazing. it came stocked with water and toiletries and the room was well kept and clean. they even provided insect repellent which was a nice little touch.

the only potential negative I would say is it’s pretty far out from the main parts of Samui, howeve there are plenty of bars and restaurants around and it’s perfect for a quiet remote stay, or if you have a motorbike or scooter.

Right on the beach with a partial view of the sunset (colorful skies). The rooms are okay, comfortable.

the bathrooms could use a bit of freshening up. It gets quite hot in the bungalows during the day, the windows don’t open and there’s only a fan. Had to leave the front door open to air out. Get a room with air con if possible.

it’s next to the beach and you get toilet paper and water every day. If you want cleaning as well you will just inform them. very helpful staff in general when you ask.

there were no “Resturant” when you arrived they didn’t inform you about the aerial.

Very quiet and beautiful place right on the beach very confortable and peacefull. Quite big bungalows with air conditioner, fan, private room, big porch... Also restaurant

I liked everything

The location was great with a nice secluded beach with very few people (if any). There is a restaurant and a kiosk nearby. The room was comfy (mine had aircon) and the staff was very helpful and arranged a taxi for me in advance, since I needed to get to the pier very early in the morning.

Very relaxing and quiet! Very natural! The ocean is very shallow so good for just sitting in the water and enjoying the landscape! If you Look for entertainment this might not be your place but it is perfect for relaxing on the beach

Excellent location, staff, cleanliness, value for money and tropical island living.

AC would have been beneficial although the location 40m from the beach meant there was always a breeze whilst I was there.
