It was a fantastic stay! The location is nearly end of Chaweng beach, away from the crowd, and still easy to approach beach and restaurants. 7-11 and ATM just 2 mins walk. The boss Mr. Top is super friendly and helpful in any possible ways, trying his best to fulfill my needs. The front desk girl Nook is nice and positive, I asked for toilet paper and she gave me not only what I need but also provided more bottles of water with heartwarming smile. The housekeepers are very efficient to get my room ready as I arrive early. The laundry service is amazing, only 50 THB/1 kg...mine was 1.2kg I thought it will charge 100THB, but they charge by ratio ....in the end I only paid 60THB for paying someone to wash, dry, fold the clothes with wonderful fragrance. I have a very good impression from Top Hostel and I love the view from my room which is outstanding. So I extended my stay to 4nights, it's definitely worthy value to stay. There are 2 ways walk to the beach: 1) 10 mins walk toward north. Google The Hungry Wolf restaurant, get there and turn right. That’s what most people do. On the way you will pass many restaurants and shops. 2) 5mins walk towed south. Google First restaurant ,it’s end of beach. That is my favorite, less people and look more private. After chilling at beach, I recommend a nice hidden restaurant "Samovar" just 5 mins walk from Top Hostel, very reasonable price with good quality food, but gotta be patient because it's always full of guests. To be honestly, you get what you pay for as I saw other people's reviews , I think it's worthy more than 9+ rating!

The place is clean and location is good, 7-11 only 2 mins walk away and there are some Thailand restaurants just next door, and the owner (I assume) at the reception was super friendly and very easy to talk to (ppl stayed in other Thailand hotel/hostels know what I’m talking about), he made my other bookings (day tour and early airport taxi) super easy, highly recommend!

the room is a bit small, the double bed occupies almost all the spaces, if you not fussed with extra space in your room, this can be neglected, and there is no lift in the building.

Very clean rooms, cleaned daily with free water. Location was good for us, about 20 mins walk to the strip but right by the beach so a good mix to keep it chill too. Staff were so friendly and helpful too.

Only thing I’d say is the room is small so not much room to unpack a bag. They need to put a shelf or two in each room to account for this

- Great AC - We had food poisoning for the first few days and it was a great room to feel poorly in - Bed made everyday - Staff helpful with organizing transfers - Good location to walk to restaurants/bars

- Staff not very helpful with the hire of bikes, we asked the lady at the desk and she kept saying no to us but other people were hiring them! Maybe a language barrier but was quite weird! There was lots of bike shops to hire a few minutes walk down the road though! - Room is very cramped & small - No where to hang your wet clothes

The place is more like a hotel than a hostel. It was a perfect choice. Not really in the very heart of Chaweng (so you can sleep during the night) but still very convenient location. Everything just at walking distance. The staff is super friendly, they arrange everything (laundry, island tours, transfer to Koh Phangan, etc.) I recommend a room with a balcony to have a bigger space but rooms without balcony are correct too. There is an inner garden to chill and spend some good time. The nearest beach is like 15 mins walk. Very much recommended.

The rooms are small but you have all you need. It's awesome to have an own bathroom. The location was great, near the beach and several places to eat. The staff was amazing and helped me with the ferry and extending my stay there. The air-conditioned worked perfect.

The only bad thing is that the bathroom hadn't enough ventilation, the smell was not the best, and a lot of mosquitos entered through the window there, but you couldn't keep it close.

Very great place to stay for the price! Nicely located to where you’re near restaurants, 7/11, pharmacies, and massage shops. Beach is maybe like a 10 min walk or so. Wasn’t too loud from any bars or anything. Felt safe in and around hostel. No scary bugs! Just some ants in the bathroom and a harmless daddy long leg that all disappeared after my first shower. Oh, they also clean your room every day and give you new towels and 2 waters!

You do get what you pay for, so don’t expect luxury. The room is very small, there were some stains on the bedding (but still felt pretty clean), and the toilet was definitely smelly every time I opened the lid. It’s not perfect, but I think the price with the location weigh out the bad for sure.

the staff were lovely. the place was close to many restaurants and different options. the mall was 20 min walk. my view was wonderful, I could see the Buddha from my window. :)

the room is almost as big as the bed but that wasn’t an issue for me at all. the private room also comes with a small balcony.

Perfect sized room for a couple nights stay. It’s just small but you get what you pay for and it all works well! I would recommend to any traveller wanting a private room for a couple of nights.

It’s just a little further from the main area of the street than other hostels but it’s still easily walkable and there are still restaurants and lots nearby.

The room was very cheap BUT this included my own room and own bathroom, air con and hot water. The room is not very big but more than sufficient. I would definitely reccomend this if you're a solo trabeller. My room may have been too small for 2 people but perfect for me. Great location. On the main road, 10m walk from beach, 25m walk from the night market
