In the center of the town right on the beach all of the staff were so friendly all ways smiling room cleaned daily with fresh towels Beach towels can be obtained from the beach side restaurant. On our leaving day it was the start of the water festival we ordered a taxi from the reception and a late departure no problem. Taxi never arrived the Owner took us in his own car it took 3 times as long because of the celebrations he just smiled as if it was another day, only got back late last night missing it all ready. We are returning in July cannot wait

The room is well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a refrigerator, air conditioning, a table, and chairs on the terrace. Two bottles of water are provided daily, and the room is cleaned daily.

The bathrooms are outdated and have mould buildup. The sunbeds are also very old. The hotel requires significant renovations, but the location is great, right on the beach. But Lamai is not the beast beach on Samui, it can get dirty and wavy, so consider this when booking ;)

Everything was good. The location right in the middle of Lamai, we could walk everywhere we needed to go to. The receptionist was nice and helpful. The bedroom, although not modern, had a certain charm about it. Tin roof, large wooden veranda... old fashioned style but comfortable. Situated on the beach with free sunbeds. Restaurant and massage next to the beach. Private car available to take you to the port or airport. It was perfect for our needs. Highly recommended and we would not hesitate to return.

Great location, right near the beach and main part of Lamai. I got the pool view rooms and the bed was suuuuuper comfy and the PILLOWS!! a lot of room and shower had great pressure and temperature. Staff very helpful and rooms cleaned everyday. Not flashy but great value for money!

There was a funny smell coming from the drains in the bathroom but to be honest it does happen in Asia a fair amount at budget stays. I found it tolerable.

Cleaning needs to be improved. The shower screen was not clean when I arrived, still had soap scum on it and was not cleaned during my 4 day stay. Bathroom basin had not been cleaned properly either, as with mirrors in bathroom and wardrobe door. There was also a sewer smell in the bathroom occasionally, not fixed by putting water in the floor waste trap as I tried this and also the owner/manager. But perhaps linked to this and flushing the toilet???

The location was great and very convenient to what we needed. Could always park our car in from hotel also big plus. The beach was great, always chairs awailable👌. The room was quite big and AC could be always on 🙏

The housekeeping staff did not speak a word of English and it was quite hard to communicate with them. We we’re trying to get our cover bed sheet changed on day 3 or 4 due to a stain and spoke to multiple staff about it and it never happened in the 10 nights we stayed. Kitchen staff also had limited English (but better) and we had quite few misunderstandings/wrong orders etc around breakfast due to that which made us feel uncomfortable. The breakfast lacked variety.

This is the best place on Koh Samui i have ever been. Location is perfect! Bungalows are so close to the beach (about 30 m:)) and there is so close to the city and food markets and restaurants from here. Near by is also muay thai camp (5 min walking). Utopia has its own restaurant on the beach where we ate every day good breakfast. There are lots of trees and nature between bungalows. Its quiet place and the space between houses enaugh to find intimicy. For sure i will came back to Utopia next time!

The resort is awesome. Everything is very clean, the location is really good and the stuff so friendly and helpful. We stayed in Utopia the first time 6 nights and the second time for 7 nights. Both bungalows were great. Everyday you get a room service with new water and fresh towels (for the room and the beach). The pool area is lovely and the pool is clean. The beach area have sun beds and is also clean. From the bungalows you have a great garden view from the balconies. The AC in bungalow number 3 is working pretty good. The bungalows are quite comfortable. The bed is really big, the fridge works fine, there is a safe and the bathroom is also great.

In bungalow number 9 the AC isn't really good. Sadly you have to run it nearly the whole day to get out the head. People from outside can use the sun beds at the beach too. That didn't bother us as long they're paying for using them or get some drinks and food at the restaurant. The stuff should be more focused on that because often they didn't order anything, just the hotel guest don't have free sun beds anymore. The English communication could be better.

Great hosts, it's a family run resort with own beachfront area and lovely gardens all throughout. Room 32, Deluxe Bungalow with Garden View. Clean bathroom, wardrobe space with plenty of storage areas. Bar fridge, kettle & hair dryer. Very comfortable queen & single beds in room. Lots of power points. Wifi worked great in room and pretty well in the restaurant and beach front area. Lots of tables, chairs and banana lounges on the beach front. Toilet and shower down near beach area too. Small pool for relaxing in. Convenience stores, restaurants, banks & shopping within 5 minutes walk.

Restaurant closes between 5pm and 7pm but hundreds of tasty food options right outside the resort.

Good location, comfy beds, clean towels every day, large room. Nice environment.

Music from bar next door whilst sunbathing on beach, though it's not this hotels fault. Plenty of sunbeds but open to other people not staying... so claim one early.
