Location between Pier/town and beach was perfect - short walk or scooter ride away. Had a room in land - was nice and quiet. We were on 1st floor - would recommend second floor as it probably has better view. Breakfast for 200 Baht buffet was good and at restaurant was helpful. Because of windy conditions did not get a chance to enjoy snorkeling in front of the hotel but it looked promising. Overall good value.

The 500 baht deposit. Didn't have to leave that in the other hotels we stayed in.

The hotel exceeded our expectations, the staff were friendly and helpful, we had the deluxe suite with the private terrace and it was lovely waking up to a sea view and watching the sunset every evening. Breakfast was not included in our booking so can’t comment on this. It is perfectly located within walking distance to great bars, cafes and restaurants. The pool was a great addition too when we didn’t feel like going on the beach. Would definitely stay here again, thank you to all the staff!

Hotel could arrange to pick up guests from the pier, they only provide a drop off to the pier upon check out.

They put in the room umbrella for rainy days and backet for the beach. Very nice for backpackers Near beach and restaurants etc

Go for the King triple sea view rooms, they are fantastic with killer balcony views and small pool area very nice - top spot for chilling if you have been on the go for a while ! Comfortable bed, excellent Wi-Fi and A/C with modern fridge in the room and lots of natural light ( has a mini villa vibe about it ) Staff lovely and shops nearby to stock up for your balcony sunset treat 😎🍹 Free shuttle run down to the port was much appreciated and would not hesitate to stay here again 🙏🏻

The hotel is at the end of the busy street, so it is quiet and with fewer people and scooters. Breakfast time is excellent (from 07:30 to 12:00) with a wide choice. It costs 250 bath Staff is very nice and welcoming. The pool is large, and it is also very good for toddlers. It faces the sun almost all day, and the view on the sea is amazing. There is also a nice and private beach just below the pool. The room size is good, and the shower power is good. They also offer a free taxi to the pier on the way back with 3 departure times (2 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon). Lighting in the room is excellent but not really good in the bathroom.

The beds were rock hard, and we struggled to sleep. It looked like sleeping on the concrete floor. We asked for something, and they offered us a topper, but they were never given us at the end. Breakfast never changes. Same breakfast every day. Some rooms are opposite the site of the swimming pool and aren't facing the sea side but a garden. It takes 5 min walk to reach the pool (not really an issue, but it can be for some who are expecting otherwise) All rooms have large windows and people can see you. So you basically live with the curtains pulled all day. There was a bad smell coming from the toilet, but I think it is an island problem due to a lack of good waste pipes. There aren't many places to hang or lie one's clothes, and there isn't anything to hang wet clothes outside to dry.

We booked the deluxe suite with private area / beach front and it was just an amazing view from the bed! Perfect to watch the November rain 🌧️

As i said, we booked the deluxe suite with private area to enjoy the sea-view but sadly we had to close the curtains mist of the times because no one respected the private area sign and we had people sitting in front of our window, on our private beach loungers, looking into our room not even caring (this is in the tourists, not on the hotel)! But maybe a tiny fence could make the private area more visually so the guests of these rooms can fully enjoy what they have paid for!

10/10 - amazing stay! We visited in 2022, and loved it so much we booked again for our honeymoon in 2025. The staff are lovely, so helpful and go over and above for you. We love the pool, the view is amazing from it and it is kept so clean. We booked the king room with sea view and the sunset view was gorgeous, it really was a perfect few days stay. We booked a private Longtail boat tour through the hotel, it was honestly the best day of the honeymoon. The staff were kind enough to make us sandwiches for it. When we checked out, the reception had put a little picture of us from the boat trip, into a frame saying happy honeymoon, it was a gorgeous touch. The staff really made this stay, as well as a great clean room and lovely pool / location. We love the location too, very close to everything by short walk but quiet. This really is a special place to us and we would love to come back again, would recommend every time.

Fantastic hotel. Absolutely beautiful king room with balcony. The view is stunning. Air conditioning was great, very powerful. Amenities in the room were great. We had everything we could have needed and more. Room is cleaned daily and they provide complimentary water every day. The pool area is lovely, overlooking the beach. Nice and quiet around the pool area during high season. The hotel kindly decorated the room for our anniversary and made it so special for us. The shower pressure and wifi isn’t the best but we didn’t mind! The hotel also offer a free taxi to pier. Overall, we had a fantastic stay in Koh Tao Heritage. The staff are so kind and helpful and we loved our room, especially with all the extra touches. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you Heritage!

We loved the breakfast. The room was great it was huge overlooking the sea and pool with plenty of hanging space, but the bathroom was really jaded with smelly drains.The water swelled in the bathroon floor making a pond of shower water as it slowly went down the small hole . Had to provide a deposit for key and pool towels thats ok. Tv was a smart one with Netflix &Amazon. Did not charge us the extra 3% to pay by card like some places. Shuttle bus was free to and from Mae Haad town/ferry, bonus!!. Very close to town, about 10 min walk. Could have stayed longer. Amazing sunset from our balcony. Would come back here again.

So many steps with NO handrails its hazardous.The beach is small and untidy, shame as its so small . It wouldn't take much to beautify. Bits of iron rods hanging out of concrete blocks need removing. Next door hotel is a dive centre, which is a drop-off point for divers and it too doesn't care for the potentially beautiful cove.

The property is located within walking distance of Mae Haad Pier. The ocean view and the open air terrace were highlights. The Deluxe Ocean View double room was on the top floor of the oceanfront block so ocean waves and passing rain showers were the only sounds. The balcony is completely covered so you don't need to worry about a little rain. The view of the sea, the island and the busy harbor provides hours of enjoyment. The double bed was big and comfy.

The stairs leading down to the ocean front units are built with steps of various shapes set at different angles and no railings to keep you from stepping off the edge in the dark. When it rains (as it often does) the navigation becomes even more tricky.
