As soon as we stepped into the place with two small kids, they were super friendly. The staff are incredibly attentive, going above and beyond to ensure your comfort and make everything possible. They helped us to get to Krabi for an emergency, within 30 minutes, everything was organized. But what steals the show is the stunning sea view. Imagine savoring a divine meal as you gaze out at the endless blue horizon, the sound of waves gently caressing your soul. It's not just dining; it's an experience that uplifts you.

Lovely little resort tucked away at the top part of Koh Jum. We felt welcomed by Kwan and her team from the moment we arrived. The resort was tranquil and our villa had amazing ocean views and sunsets and a private beach. We ate each night at the resort and the food there is some of the best we’ve eaten in Thailand. Lovely fish and traditional Thai foods. Thanks again for such a memorable and stay - we hope to be back one day soon. Your staff are such a credit to your resort. They really made a good stay into an amazing one.

Pool was refreshing but its surroundings need a little refresh which seemed to be underway.

We booked the Banyan Villa and were very happy with the house. This is actually intended for 4 people, but for two it was perfect and we had plenty of space. The view from the balcony into the bay with sunset is just perfect! We particularly liked the trees and the many greenery that gave us a lot of shade in the hot temperatures. Attention, there are monkeys coming from the forest! A funny spectacle, so don't leave anything important lying around, the monkeys will steal it in any case. The breakfast and food was overall good and tasty. The island has beautiful beaches, a scooter can be rented on site and explore the island. We liked the secluded and relaxed atmosphere!

A mosquito net was missing and would make everything perfect. Mosquitoes are there, nobody can prevent that. Luckily we had our own with us, so we could sleep with the door open and listen to the sounds of the sea and from the forest.

The management was on point with taking care of all our needs, they were so nice, I recommend book all island activities including transport directly with the villa/hotel. I really recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a tranquil place to escape in Thailand as there are not many left. This places is clean, adorable, affordable, really values privacy and just overall one of the best resorts with best value for money and least amount of tourists. I really felt like we were on a different planet. The staff were amazing, they went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. They left us alone, yet were always available when we needed them. The houses were well kept, but bamboo and in nature so it's exactly what you are getting for. There were no bugs or anything in the rooms and they provided new mosquito spray daily. The dogs that belong to the resort, two golden retrievers, were also amazing. Even the boat team that was hired for us by the hotel for a day trip to maya bay were amazing, and we appreciated their company and knowledge and flexibility. Overall, I will come back here again, no questions asked. This place is paradise :)

Only thing missing is that it would be ideal to have a small store for essentials that one would forget/need throughout the trip so that they do not have to leave the resort i.e. feminine hygiene products, sunscreen, small snacks. I feel the prices were a bit higher for the food then need to be.. If they were lower, we would have eaten there more often. I would also warn guests that at night it can get loud with the frogs and the monkeys and maybe provide them with ear plugs? However this was only applicable at the lotus villa. The beds were comfortable enough so the nature did not bother you.. The Orchid villa we stayed on (further from the beach) was actually quiet at night so maybe we just got unlucky.

If I could give this place the highest of scores, I would. We have had a wonderful stay, the villa was beautiful, views amazing, and the staff absolutely superb. Kind, friendly, and made the holiday. The food was also very good and overall excellent value for money. Hassle free motorbike rental, which made getting around much easier, although there are Tuk Tuk's on hand if needed. This is hands down the best place we've stayed so far. The rustic yet cozy cabin, complete with air conditioning and a minibar, is set on a peaceful, private beach that feels like paradise. The hospitality was unmatched—Kiti, her son Bastien, the entire staff (especially Kwon), and even the two golden retrievers and the adorable Pomeranian made our stay extra special. The food was another highlight. Every dish was fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. The prawn cakes are an absolute must-try! The team at Banyan Villa takes care of everything—from pier pick-ups to bicycle and motorbike rentals, as well as organizing boat trips and taxis—so you can simply relax and enjoy. We initially stayed for three nights and visited Railay Beach afterward. However, we loved Banyan Villa so much that we decided to return to Koh Jum instead of staying in Ao Nang. Unfortunately, it was fully booked during our return ( as per booking website), and our experience at another accommodation on Koh Jum didn’t compare. If you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable, and friendly place to stay, Banyan Villa is the perfect choice. Highly recommended

Impressive location, mindblowing views, great pool area, tranquility, good responsiveness of the hotel very helpful manager, size of the villa.

Villa needs modernization. Some equipment is really old and even falling apart (door frames). It is hard to accept in price you pay in high season. Most of the hotel staff cant speak English. They are very kind people though. Despite some drawbacks, i would recommend the hotel with no doubts.

It is an authentic accommodation. Quiet, private and surrounded by the nature. Amazing views from the porch of the bungalow. Joyful crab watching during the evening and owners lovely dogs around who protect the property from strangers and monkeys. Food is exceptional and staff super caring.

There is nothing not to like about this place. You can pay by credit card, there is hot water, mosquito nets and sound of the waves and nature is magical.

The owner made it absolutely incredible. It truly felt like we were staying with family. She invited us to dinner two nights And made sure we were completely comfortable and had everything we needed. She helped out with everything from getting a motorbike to upgrading our room when we were having a wifi issue to helping us arrange the ferry to leave and so on. It was a dream staying here!
