The view from room 201 is fabulous and the hotel is central to all things at the Kamala Beach. The ladies who clean the rooms do a great job and are very friendly. The pool is clean and has ample loungers around it.

I was embarrassed about breakfast. A tour I went on left early and we were told to ask our hotel for a breakfast box. Everyone had a box or bag with nice food and fruits. I had a ham sandwich on a plate wrapped in plastic.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kamala Dreams! Jan and his team were always very friendly and helpful, the rooms were quiet and clean and we slept like babies. :) Our room was directly in front of the pool, the beach just a few steps around the corner. The food and drinks at the beachview restaurant were delicious. We also enjoyed the visits on our balcony from the friendly house cat. There are many restaurants, a (night) market, bars and shops in walking distance. And if you prefer a night out in Patong (about 15 minutes drive), there are tuk tuks waiting for you. Kamala Dreams at Kamala Beach is the perfect destination for those, who would like it a bit more quiet, yet lively.

Location is super-on the main street, but you can hear cars/motors in the room. Spacious room with terrace and access to pool. Roomservice ladies are very kind and do their work perfect. They have restaurant on beachfront and one located on main steet side.

Breakfast - they have 4 options to choose every morning (fruit plate + 1. Pancake, 2. Egg+toast, 3. Mueslli, 4.) There is a young boy who does not speak english and it is hard to comunicate when he is alone - he alwaYs sends someone who speaks english.

The location is fabulous. On the beach and close to restaurants, bars etc. Large rooms, your own balcony/terrace area with outdoor seating etc. Kitchenette with microwave and good amount of bench space. Everything you need is available. Two restaurants/bars on the premises. I would definitely return. Helpful and friendly staff.

If I have to say something it would just be the shower, the drain didn't work too well and personally I don't like shower curtains but that is all I have to say really. Not a deal breaker. If you want absolute 5 star experience this may not be the place for you but value for money, facilities, helpful staff and location cannot be beat.

The location is superb right in the heart of Kamala with loads of restaurants and all kinds of shops just two steps away. We stayed in a room with a sea view and a very big terrace with beach beds where, if needed, you can hang out all day long enjoying the breeze and the scenery. Want to say thank you to the owner and the staff for taking such good care of this place and keeping it so neat and clean.

The breakfast was extremely unimaginative with the total absence of vegetables and greens. The bed in our room was very sensitive - if one person makes a slight movement, the other is forced to jump up.

A wonderful place to stay right on the beach in the heart of Kamala. The hotel is very peaceful and quiet, but with the benefit of all local amenities too…there is a 7-11, ATM, a couple of stalls offering excursions, little shops selling clothes and souvenirs and a plethora of food stalls all within moments. The hotel itself is of a good standard, the room was excellent with a very comfortable bed, room cleaned daily by an excellent cleaner (thank you!), Jan the owner was friendly and informative, while the staff at the restaurant are also all friendly and offer tasty food at good prices. We loved our stay at this great hotel and only regret is that we didn’t book for longer.

Super friendly staff, nice atmosphere and the own restaurant is amazing! The location is close to 7/11, massage saloons and very close to the beach!

Unfortunately the hotel can't change that but our drunk room neighbours (I assume russian) had loudly sex in front of their terrace (so pool area) which you could see and hear even though it was evening. Not nice for adults and especially children to be part of.

BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT ALWAYS HOT BANANA PANCAKES ARE DELICIOUS USUALLY HAD OMLETTE WITH BACON, VERY TASTY WHEN I WANTED ICE, I WENT TO KITCHEN AND THEY GAVE ME SOME STAFF IS SUPER FRIENDLY GAL CLEANED OUR ROOM DAILY, MADE BED, FRESH TOWELS, 2 WATER BOTTLES, SWEPT FLOOR, CLEAN BEACH TOWELS DAILY, WASHED DIRTY DISHES IF ANY. MINI FRIDGE WAS NICE, WE PURCHASED MILK FOR OUR COFFEE AND TEA IN ROOM, FRESH FRUIT BOOKED A SUPERIOR ROOM AND HAD BALCONY WITH 2 LOUNGE CHAIRS AND A GORGEOUS VIEW OF BEACH. ONE COULD HEAR THE WAVES. WE WERE AT KAMALA DREAMS FOR MONTH AND WOULD DEFINITELY COME BACK. JAN AND HIS WIFE DUAN ARE A LOVELY COUPLE, THE OWNERS JAN BOOKED OUR TAXI,S WHEN NEEDED, AND TOLD US WHERE TO BOOK OUR CITY TOUR OF PHUKET, JAN ALSO ARRANGED TAXI,S TO AND FROM AIRPORT. JUST ADDED FEE TO OUR BILL.

I MUST SAY THERE IS NOT NEGATIVE THING I CAN SAY ABOUT THE RESORT.

There was nothing to dislike about the property

proximity to the beach. it’s on the beach. the pool is right outside your door. there was fresh linen and a room tidy every day. Mrs Duan is a brilliant cook. Her fried fish with yellow curry sauce is not over seasoned. You can ask her what she is going to be cooking. She can cater for vegans. the price is very good. Eating on the terrace on the beach in the evening has a kind of exclusive intimate feel. Mrs Lin is always there if you need something.
