Amazing journey in a true Thai style. All around the beauty even in the sea, not the wonderful bays that everyone is used to jump in, but a long narrow deserted beach where you can also swim, only in the morning and night but fair enough, the bay here is only a meter deep for at least 300 m. only a few hours a day, due to the strong tide this side of the island has. This seaside ​​has informal Thai harbors and fishermen looking for crabs on the sand when the sea is wide twice a day. nice to see ... true. That's why Royal Thai Villa is here. the neighborhood around is made up of Thais and some other amall resort and restaurants and resonably frequented by tourists. Let's come to the house... Because this is almast an house, the owner now lives there and you can observe her style with her guests in the nice garden and in the swimming pool that we all share. it's not a fantastic new swimming pool that has just been refurbished, but even that counts for little because it's your pool in your garden. the reason is simple, there aren't hundreds of rooms but only 7 beautiful house-rooms-villas connected by a sitting room on the patio, where the reception also takes place. obviously almost always empty, there aren't hundreds of people around. All surraunded by a gorgeous garden not big not small, the wright size, we were bringing bouquet of flowers for our room each day by ourselves.. a good idea to bring the wonderfull smell of the frangipani in the room. The rooms: wonderful, furnished with large collections of original furniture and objects, dim light everywhere which can be for someone a problem, but it's nice considering the revisited style of the local architecture, they are improving with mosquito nets, it could be a bit better in this matter, the new air conditioning systems helps anyway a lot, the beds and mattresses are very comfortable. No windows but only shutters at the window. The drinks in the fridge are included in the price.

Breakfast could be better, but venue is very exclusive so not catering for the masses. Other wise, wow! What an experience, the villa’s are amazing the views lovely. You won’t find anything else like this, The attention to detail is great, well done to the owner for creating something special. If back in Phuket we will be back.

The whole experience from the start was wonderful. The staff were warm and welcoming. The vibe was chilled and relaxed. The whole place was spotless and the wonderful staff were always on hand to help with anything you needed. Absolutely breathtaking views and wonderful pool and garden area with views of the sea. The sun loungers were perfect, comfy and towels placed every morning. Such a delight to stay here, and we would stay again in the future.

Absolutely gorgeous property with very well thought out design. Every single detail in the resort — the gilded wall sconces, the intricate carpets, the luxurious vintage furniture — preserves the overall theme: so grandiose and regal, it’s decadent enough for royalty! The location is perfect too: it’s tucked away from busy streets, right on a paradise-like beach, yet you won’t feel too disconnected from the outside world as local eateries, fruit stands, and a 7-eleven is just minutes away by walking. But the best part about this resort is the wonderful crew running it. We’ve never felt this welcomed and cared for than here at the Royal Villas! Everyone was so attentive and kind, we were in awe the whole stay!

The location is phenomenal. The beach is in front of the resort with amazing views of the Andaman Sea and islands. The traditional style villas have Thai history and furniture that immerses you in their culture. The pool was pleasant and the gardens just beautiful. The outdoor seating in front of the private chambers had very comfortable chaiselongs and loveseats from the past era. There are many beautiful statues of deities from Thai culture. The restaurant on site is modern providing excellent service, food and drinks. Staff was very friendly helpful and discreet. A very quiet atmosphere for relaxing is ensured.

Great location; off the main road and quiet, grounds were well kept and everything was well maintained, the Owner and staff were all exceptional and very friendly. The place was very natural with trees and animals all around, while this may not be for everyone, it suited me perfectly, some truly beautiful mornings and evenings here. Will definitely return.

I had to leave it and didn’t discover it earlier

The private beach and property is beautiful. The decor is traditional Thai inspired and I loved that. Waking up to the sunrise on the beach was amazing. The bed was comfortable and enjoyed the serenity of the villa.

The only downside to the room accommodations was the amount of mosquitoes. The way the villas are made it allows for a few mosquitoes to enter through some gaps in the netting in bathroom and closet. They also could use a few more breakfast food options, but that wasn’t a huge deal since there were a few other restaurants nearby.

Some of the most interesting and beautiful rooms you’ll ever see. Each one is different with varied items in the rooms. There is outdoor living space that calls you to read a book overlooking the pool and sea. Drinks were strong and delicious poolside. Breakfast was basic. You choose from a list of items (I.e. eggs, bacon, Thai noodle boost, type of coffee etc). Makes sense given that there are only six rooms. Walkable distance to great little Italian restaurant (Il Tagliere or aka Italia-Rawai). Rawai Beach is a short ride away with several restaurants and supermarket. Best beach imho is Nai Harn beach where our best meal was also had at Rock Salt Restaurant. Romantic setting and good food. If driving, park up the road by church. Short walk down the road. Loved staying at Royal Thai villas.

Beach is not swimmable. Too many rocks and small land crabs. No real “front desk” but we didn’t seem to have a problem if we needed to find someone.
