Amazing quiet place. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant has some great food options. Even though it is a bit far away from everything, there is a daily free shuttle bus from the hotel to the nearest 7-11 and back so you can stock up on supplies. On the weekends there is also a free shuttle that will take you to Phuket Old Town in the afternoon. Free kayaks,paddleboard, peaceful water setting, and you could feel really connected to nature with all the birds and well maintained green areas. We loved our honeymoon there!

The water temperature and pressure was the only downside. We tried to get it fixed but eventually realized there was no solution. Water was barely hot enough and the shower pressure was very very low. However we got used to it quite quicky and enjoyed it regardless. Keep in mind that when the tide is low, the whole beach becomes unusable. So plan your kayak adventures accordingly!

Absolutely loved this hotel, it was perfect. In a really quiet area which is what we wanted. Staff were super nice and helpful. Restaurant was brilliant, great food and cocktails. Pool and gardens and beach were all lovely. Room was clean and loved the bath on the balcony. Hope to come back next year and would definitely recommend.

Only minor thing would have been slightly more storage space for clothes.

Nice location, good facilities, and value for money. Good place to relax and be away from noisy and crowded places. Options for breakfast buffet was excellent. They do organise taxi for you to go to airport or places around.

Locations is very far. Transportation from airport was very expensive. Also the sea is not available to swim at all, this must be mentioned because I book for sea 🥺

Friendly staff were great and the resort was well kept and clean. Great view and only 5 mins by car to local town. Rooms are big and very comfortable.

They didn’t serve coffee or drinks until 10am unless you have full breakfast which is expensive and they could provide more info on the local area as we didn’t know about the town with restaurants and massage until we found it on Google maps

Everything was great! The hotel, the location, the stay, everything! We had come from another hotel where we had quite a bad experience - but the stay at The Mangrove just made everything better. Ending our vacay at this property was amazing. Beautifully maintained grounds and holiday-worthy rooms.

Although our stay on the whole was amazing, a couple of things that could be improved upon was the food, the AC efficiency and the TV to have channels besides the default 12 channels - but I'm nitpicking at this point.

We all loved the facilities this resort offered - a nice community pool, a shady beach zone, free kayaks and sup boards, mangrove forest!, beach bar and music in the evening. Rooms were nice too, they are not super new though, and the pillows were not comfy. Overall, we loved our stay there!

The beach is not good for swimming, it’s full of sharp corals and mangrove roots.

- serenity, away from the chaos of the old town Phuket. - fantastic pool and bay location, with beautiful scenery especially in the evenings. - the house cat, we simply named “RedBull”. cute little creature.

- the hot water could have lived up to its name. but then again, I am splitting hairs here, considering it was 40degC weather outside. - get a sound allowance for taxis in your holiday budget. nothing is close and cheap to reach.

It's beautiful site. Very rustic and old. It's next to a beach but It's not swimmable. Staff was super friendly and punctual. Breakfast was 500thb per person and good. The soaking tub out in the balcony was a nice surprised. Their restaurant is pretty decent with many choices. My room was very clean and well kept. It is an older look to the facility but nothing is wrong with that! My bed was super comfortable. The area is very quiet. Love this place. Would recommend and come back.

The smell in the room was like old sewage pipes. I didn't like that but my room spray helped!. And the facility is quite far from most things.

The Hotel and settings were beautiful, Suit was lovely. We played a game of lawn Chess on arrival and there was plenty to do and see at the hotel. Very relaxing and great views. We took out a kayak one day however it was short lived sue to the currents (we visited in rainy season) but was still fun. There was a lovely restaurant and cafe and the staff were all fantastic, Very attentive and patient. Food prices were more and without a car/bike you were quite a distance from any 7 eleven or street food vendors so felt a little caged (just my feelings as i didnt have transport) though Grabs were easy to get and we made friends with a tuktuk van man who was readily available and cheaper than grab. The Hotel also offered a free shuttle into old town each day at 4.30.

Food Prices were quite high and we felt a bit stuck But Food was Delicious and Big portions (we ordered curries one night and could of easily shared 1 between 2 people)
