Julie, Sione and their staff at House of Tonga were amazing! The service they provided was amazing, they were friendly, very helpful and made us feel at home. The girls at reception/office went the extra mile to help me with some urgent documents I needed printed/scanned to send back to Australia, they did this willingly, effortlessly and with a smile. The gentlemen maintaining outside and the deck area always greeted us with a smile same with the gentleman that was the security. The lady in the kitchen that served breakfast cooked us hot food when we walked in...friendly and service with a smile! Our room and everything inside was nice and clean, the bed was very comfortable and the bedding was clean and bright white...had a nice crispy clean feel which helped me dose off in to a deep sleep straight away. Julie/owner was amazing, she warmed up our dinner that I let get cold...even bought it back to our room. This is the kind of service we love...gave us a home away from home feel.. We will definitely be staying at House of Tonga again Highly recommended! Especially loved how clean House of Tonga is! The local hotels in the area should take a leaf from House of Tonga's book! Considering the breakfast was included in the price we paid for our rooms, it made things financially convenient for us, especially for the children we traveled with. Lovely and friendly service from all staff we came across and also the Owners are very welcoming.

Not much to dislike as House of tonga met my expectations, location wise it is located in a busy roundabout so for future families with active children just to be mindful otherwise, would highly recommend house of Tonga

The staff was exceptional. I did not have a power converter plug for my laptop. When I asked the person at the front desk if they had any she unplugged one of her electronics and gave me hers. You wouldn't find that happening in the US.

The only thing I can think of is that there was no ground floor. I didn't mind but that could have made it better.

Easy and convenient place to stay for one night before a domestic flight to Ha'apai. Easy to book online, great pick-up service from the airport and helped out with onward transport. Good breakfast and let us hang around after checkout until we needed to leave.

Short (10-15 minute) walk to some of the restaurants on the waterfront strip.

Wonderful hotel for a stay in Tonga. Clean, good comfort and AC. Good pricing. Very friendly staff and they also own a taxi and can give you an island tour.

That the "shuttle service" comes with extra costs was not clearly stated in booking.com as with other hotels in the area. It's the usual taxi price and will be booked on request.

Basic bolt hole offers everything you need. Clean, modern, fab staff, decent wifi, town is walkable & plenty of shops close by etc.

Location is out of the centre, you will need a taxi to restaurants and because it is on a roundabout, it can be noisy though this does die down late at night.

Breakfast was very good for this area. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It has a great location except it is alittle noisy next to a very busy intersection of town.

We enjoyed our stay at the House of Tonga. The room was spacious, bright and clean. Breakfast was the same each day but with plenty of choice. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
