We stayed at the Bacolet Beach Resort which was across the street from The Half Moon Blue Hotel,which was undergoing renovations. The staff were very accommodating to us since we booked the Half moon Blue and were not pleased with the decor of the hotel. Although the Bacolet is a little outdated, it is a cute boutique hotel w a beautiful beach, a great restaurant, and three pools. The rooms are nice and there are mosquitoes that will visit at night if you leave your balcony door open. We had a great time!! I like the fact they offered tours to Pigeon point and the Sunday school festivities.

The phone didn't work, and there was a mildew smell coming from the shower. No local television channels were available. Make sure you remember your Netflix and Amazon prime passwords. You are going to need it. There is no entertainment on the premises. A nice steel pan band would be a plus.

lovely hotel in Scarborough! we enjoyed the restaurant that everyday offered us different options as we are veggie! and my little one loved the swimming pool! staff was really lovely and a special thanks to the lady that drove us and made sure we were ok before departing! over all we had a great stay!

only thing I would change is the fact there was no water being given daily! this is something every hotel I stay in offers but they only offered it on the first day! apart from that all was perfect.

Well Half Moon is undergoing repairs so instead I stayed at Bacolet Beach Bar. I enjoyed the meals at Cafe Havana, The staff were concerned about about our appreciation of the meals and ensured we were provided with our choice of food with inclusion of local taste and herbs. The cleaning staff were also friendly and made sure the rooms were to our satisfaction.

The Junior staff at the front desk did not appeared to have adequate knowledge of the hospitality industry and I encountered an embarrassing situation at the beginning after a busy morning to get to Tobago. Thankfully this was resolved amicably and allowed me to enjoyed the rest of my stay.

I came to Tobago on my honeymoon. People had referred me to the Magdalena, but I wanted something more intimate and less commercial. Half Moon Blue Hotel was perfect for that. No crowds, no waiting in line. My wife and I had the beach to ourselves for several hours. It’s not high luxury, but it’s warm, the staff are friendly and will bend over backwards to meet your needs.

If I had to choose something I didn’t like, I’d say the breakfast could’ve been better. But it’s probably because we woke up late and got to the restaurant right before they closed for breakfast.

Great coice for relaxation jn a quiet environment, spectacular veiws of the ocean and friendly staff. Breakfast was a good mix of continental and local dishes that were well prepared.
