the staff were so frienly and kind. especially the manager Morad bay was so helpful, informed and helped us a lot. the place felt like a home.

the staff except the manager couln't speek English at all! which is so disappointing for a hotel. the room was tiny! there were barely was space for 2 suitcase and there was no refrigerator in the room. but they allowed us to put our things in their frige. another problem is that the cars can't come at the door of the hotel and they could stay in the main street so be better travel with small luggage!

- The best thing about our stay was great hospitality from Murat and Morisi Avlu team: they made us feel truly at home and were always there to help with any question/ request we had, extremely warm, welcoming and sweet; - Hotel is located in a historic building with beautiful stone walls and a very cozy patio where you can enjoy your breakfast and drink some Turkish tea in the evenings; - Great classic Turkish breakfast with a few changing daily specials. You can also request to have eggs cooked in different ways: omelette, cooked etc. Breakfast is served till 11.00, which is amazing! - Our room (202) was spacious and very cozy with multiple small lamps, practical wardrobe and multiple storage units; - The hotel location is great: it is within walking distance from any bar, restaurant, markets within Alacati; - Reception was open 24/7, which was extremely helpful for us as we had a few nights when we came back late to the hotel; - Standard check-out is 12.00 - very convenient!

- Please be mindful that due to its central location you will hear a lot of music from bars/ clubs in the neighbourhood as well as the morning prayer at 5.45. If you are a light sleeper this is something to consider (e.g. bring or buy earplugs); - It was not important for us, but wifi is not available in the room, only in the patio.

We stayed at Morisi Avlu over 2 separate occasions and we were left incredibly satisfied both times. The hotel is located very central. A few steps and you’ll find yourself on the main streets of the Alaçatı Markets. Restaurants, bars, stores, supermarket ect all located within walking distance. In saying that, as the hotel is in a side street, you’re away from the loud noises and crowds so it’s very convenient. The hotel itself is beautiful, well decorated and the rooms are clean and spacious. The beds are very comfortable. Stayed in 2 different rooms and were happy with both. We enjoyed late night tea in the courtyard. The staff are beautiful people. They were lovely to have a conversation with, always smiling. We were able to call if we required anything during our stay. The owner was able to organise us a last minute stay second time around so we definitely appreciate them being so accommodating and flexible. The breakfast was delicious. Hosted between 9-11am so you can sleep in after a night out. Will definitely be back here next time I’m in Alacati and definitely recommend Morisi Avlu for those coming.

It was thoughtfully designed. Asthetics were great that gave us a very warm and comfortable feel. Location was good. Just 2 min walk from the main Street and activities. Host was very helpful and courteous. Breakfast was super amazing. Loved it

Cars cannot get near the hotel as the road is walking only, which made us drag our heavy luggage up and down the hill. If the hotel could pre arrange for luggage pick/drop from the parking that would be great. They could have an electric kettle in the room, along with basic tea/coffee condiments

A beautifully designed boutique hotel with the kindest staff! The room was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and varied and massive. The location couldn't be any better—just around the corner from the old town action, but surprisingly quiet. While the wifi signal in my room didn't work, I was able to hotspot, so that was not a problem—and it worked perfectly in the courtyard. I especially loved all the thoughtful decor in the entryway and throghout the hotel. Thank you!

The only con for me—and this is an issue throughout Turkey—is that smoking is allowed in the common courtyard/breakfast area. I have asthma and cannot stand cigarette smoke, and so it was disappointing to have to be around it. But again, this is endemic everywhere in Turkey—probably the only thing I do not love about this country!

Amazing location right in old town. There was a free parking garage just up the road but we were visiting our of season so not sure if it is paid parking in high season. Even though it's right in town it is very quiet and the room feels cozy and authentic. Breakfast was tasty but some scrambled eggs or omlet would have been a great addition to keep us going until lunch.

The room didn't have a kettle, tea, coffee or water which for the price would have been a great addition. A mini fridge would have been a good addition too. We had to leave early on our day of departure but breakfast doesn't start until 9am (which is quite late). An option for early breakfast would have made our stay that much better.

The place was absolutely magical and romantic. We had the room on the street and it was a beautiful experience. I felt I’m at home . The staff were adorable and so kind. I absolutely loved Suna. She was genuinely kind and helpful with a beautiful smile. It was the perfect location in Alicati as it’s in one of the side roads so it was more private and quiet but still one minute away from all the restaurants. The breakfast was soooo yummy with a lovely display. It’s not an open buffet- so each table gets it own beautiful cheese platter , assortment of jams and Nutella, butter , eggs ,bread basket, amazing olives and yummy watermelon. I would definitely come back again😍

The only negative was the non-refundable full pre payment.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in the heart of the vibrant city of Alacati, which made our Cesme experience truly unforgettable. We are deeply thankful to “Star” for her incredible kindness and sweetness. She went out of her way to make our stay special, even playing Bollywood songs for us. The place itself is an old Greek home, and each wall and design element beautifully reflects its rich heritage. Our time here was nothing short of magical.

Charming, picture perfect little boutique hotel. Very clean, modern bathrooms and an easy walk through the winding streets of Alaçatı old town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was incredible -,the best we had in Turkey!

You can’t drive up to the hotel so it’s a short walk with your luggage over cobblestone streets. Not a dislike as such but would’ve been good to know prior to arriving. Staff were very good helping us to and from our car with our bags.

Amazing staff and wonderful service.......so impressed. The cook went out of the way to cook something special for us. The owner engaged in a great conversation. The site is 180 years old. It is a small site with a lot of personality from the family that own it. I would highlighy recommend it.
