Amazing location. I loved the breakfast buffet with so many options. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is close to the train station (10 min walk), the bus station (15 minutes by car or metro), a metro station is like 2 or 3 minutes away by foot and, of course, Anitkabir is very close; my room actually had an amazing view of the mausoleum. Many stores and some restaurants 5-10 minutes from the hotel. Many but not all of the hotel employees spoke English to some degree.

Quite frankly, the only reason I don't give it 10 stars is because the room had a slight but noticeable cigarette smell even if I had selected the non-smoking room option. Hotel workers insisted it was a smoke-free room, yet it smelled to cigarette.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the were no real issues. It is an older style hotel (the opposite would be a modern boutique hotel) which seems to be geared to local business travellers rather than tourists, although there were some local families staying there. The staff were helpful and friendly but spoke limited English. The hotel restaurant offered a good selection of food and the prices were reasonable. There were lots of small restaurants and shops for fruit, etc., in the locality. There is good access to the MRT and a 20 minute walk will get you to a large shopping mall and the Anitkabir.

I have two comments. Firstly, take care when booking as the hotel charges by person not room. In other words, if two perple are, staying in a 'double' room you have to pay more. Secondly, breakfast on Sunday had a much more limited choice of cooked food available than on other days.

I missed to get train tickets, so I did not stay these dates, but too late to cancel, so it is fair that I had to pay. However I am there right now when I write this. It i a very nice hotel, nice people, nice room and a fantastic breakfast. It is very close to the central station (high-speed and old station as well, and metro) and lots of restaurants and shops nearby. This is definitely a hotel I would use again in Ankara, and the price is ok given the good quality of the hotel and the location. And 5 minutes walk to the entrance to the Atatürk memory area

Nothing that I can think of

Nice room, very friendly staff, situated close to the railway station/metro as well as to the Atatürk memorial monument, with a fantastic breakfast, one of the best I have tried with many different cheese, olives, fruits as well as warm dishes. Without any doubt, I will stay there again next time if in same or around price level. A very nice memory for me!

Breakfasts were great. The same is about location, near subway station and not far from Kizilay. Pool and gym are nice.

Misunderstanding have arisen when we asked to extend our stay for one day more, but responsible person forgot to do that, therefore we had to change our suites on the last day, although for better ones, but still it affected our general impression.

Well located for the station. Decent breakfast. Small swimming pool, with sauna and steam room (other spa facilities available for a fee). Quiet (5th floor at the back)

You have to book a half hour slot for the pool, sauna and steam - it's something to do with the health spa having different owners but it makes pretty difficult to get access at short notice.

Excellent breakfast, with fresh fruits, bakery - real Turkish Breakfast - that was delicious! I always choose this hotel for the location and very friendly staff. My room was on the top floor with a magnificent view of Anitkabir! I look forward to coming to Ankara again!

Very good breakfast. Stylish rooms, attentive and caring staff. Good location - very close to railway station, but the area is not crowded. I didn have time to use it but there is a sauna and Hammam on minus 2nd floor as we were told -included in room price. Next time in Ankara we will stay in this place again

Sometimes I could feel smell of sigarette smoke from bathroom, maybe some ventilation problem. It was the only thing I can say I didn't like

Excellent room with elegant and comfortable furnishing, spacious bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing - best so far for me (of about 10 hotels) and the small swimming pool and small but well-resourced gym were handy. I can't think of anything I didn't like. The hotel is located at the end of an underpass from the train station (10 minutes walk away) so if you are travelling by train the location is ideal. Anitkabir is 12-15 walk away and the Castle a pleasant 35-45 minute away. Apart from those two places, and museums, there is very little tourist excitement in Ankara.

Not a cricisism as such, but there wasn't much English (though staff 'had a go' and were very helpful) and the hotel wasn't set up to give tourist advice. Be wary of a room on the seventh floor - there may be parties on the eighth floor so check about possible noise. Anywhere else and you'll find good sound insulation.

Ilci is a clean hotel with happy and smiling staffs. They will help you for any question/problem. The location of hotel if fine and close to shopping location with about 500-700 m distance.

There was nothing at this hotel that I didn't like. All fine.
