The tram from the airport stops a short walk from the hotel. The busy, central location of this hotel is just what I wanted ; that is my personal opinion but I suppose each person has his or her own preferences. The breakfast really exceeded my expectations ....and my capacity to consume ! : ) The amount and variety was remarkable. Unfortunately , being a thin skinny person I was unable to taste all that I would have liked to as I simply could not fit any more in my belly . But I tried !! Indeed, if I were a hamster I would have stored some in my cheeks for later. Even the tea was such that I did not need to drink that which I brought with me from England - yes , it was that good. And dark, and strong. So, important points - convenient for public transport, short walk to the sea, 24 hour reception. Overall positive experience. ... Peter.... From England

The WiFi maybe ?

The location is very close to the old city , tram station just in front of the hotel ( it was easy to get to hotel from the airport and cheap only 15 TL per person and also going around in public buses and tram was so easy the tram station is called Doğu Garajı ) and walking distance to Mark Antalya mall . I liked it that I booked it in the beginning of my trip then we returned back to it at the end of the trip.the staff were very helpful and friendly. The price was reasonable. The breakfast was open buffet and had many kinds of food and even soup. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. It wasn’t noisy we hear the tram once in a while but didn’t affect our sleeping.

Only the wifi was on and off most of the times and when I complained about it they fixed it at the time but went off again later.

I recently stayed at Start Hotel in Antalya, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The hotel is in Dogu garage so it is close to the tram and to old town in Kaleici. Everything you need is around you. Excellent location. The room is very clean. The housekeepers clean the room everyday. The breakfast is fair but it can be better a little bit. The same menu is served everyday. I suggest to make more varieties like simit or fried eggs, add more of turkish specialties like dried fruit, oat... but in general it is good. The staff is very kind and helpful. The manager or the owner is friendly and polite. He suggested a cup of tea before leaving in the check out. There are many nationalities in the hotel which give him a high credibility. Yes, i advise start hotel for all who decide to visit Muratpaşa in Antalya.

Nothing important to mention... I wish i had a smoking room but it was my fault. I did not mentioned it in my reservation.

Overall a very good stay at START OTEL. Approx about 20 mins drive from the airport and location is fantastic bang in the center. Very close to the old town and the centre however if your looking for the beach it's about a 30 min drive of a bus ride of approx 1 hr. Can not fault the location you have bus and tram stops right in front of you. If you take a right you have some good food places which are very cheap. To the left you have a starbucks and many more food places. If you go straight down the tram line it takes you to the center. Staff where all fine nothing to complain about took my bags upstairs. Rooms where nice and clean and spacious. Remined me of a turkish version of travelodge. Also had a lovely balcony which was lovely to sit on to watch the sun set. Beds where comfy with many plug sockets close by. WiFi is good however it does tend to play up in the evening. Breakfest is everyday from 7:30 to 10:30. Really liked the breakfest it's buffet stay and there was a good selection from fruits, cereal, egg, bread, Sausages, cheese and olives. Very turkish style. They also have a coffee machine and serve turkish tea. Nice and quiet in the night, you have a mosque close by so keep in mind you will hear the call of prayers. I am muslim so it was good for me. Overall very happy with my stay and would definitely recommend especially with the great location.

Very good location, good Hospitality, nice customer service, all staff very helpful their manager always present controlling all details, he helped me even that he gave me a lot of advices where can I go for visit a good places … how to take the public transportation with details… really I felt like I’m with my family. The 3 Lady’s in reception also very kind and always smiling… housekeeping Staff also … I recommend this hotel.

I have done multiple reviews of this property as I have stayed here at least 4 times. I like it fantastic location next to tram stop. 5 minutes walk to city centre and Mark Antalya shopping centre. Beaches and harbour not far. Great large park 10 minutes walk away. Tram straight to airport from right outside hotel to terminal one. Breakfast is varied and good quality. Staff are very friendly, warm and welcoming.

The Wifi is to be honest is very annoying. Every day it was hit or miss if it worked or not. I had to keep going to reception saying it is not working again. Which made it difficult for me to contact friend in Konyaalta to make plans. The guy in reception offered to let me use his wifi on his personal phone which was kind but I ended up keeping going to Starbucks opposite to use theirs. I stayed there on the 8th floor last time and constant issues with it. This time I stayed on the 5th floor and again it worked less than it actually worked. Wifi really needs an update. Also if staying in and wanting to watch a film on youtube it was near impossible as it just kept crashing every 10 minutes as internet connected but offline message.
