A very warm welcome to two bedraggled and weary visitors, including booking our airport shuttle for the following day and carrying our luggage up the stairs. A beautiful old building with tasteful vintage touches throughout. Only a one night stay unfortunately but hotel was ideally located for sampling the centre of town and the delightful port area. A very nice touch was to offer complimentary tea and a couple of tasty treats in the morning before we headed off to Izmir airport. We will be back.

As stated only stayed one night, arriving late and leaving early so for that short period there was nothing at all to dislike. It suited our needs perfectly for a simple, traditional Turkish hotel that was welcoming, clean, attractive and obviously well loved and cared for.

The hotel is simply gorgeous. There are so many nice details, like the antique ceramics. I was truly charmed by its vintage yet curated aesthetics! The staff is incredibly nice ! They gave me tips and recommendations for places to go for a swim as well as to go for dinner. One of them even found me outside the hotel and happily greeted me. Everyone was super kind. And though they claim not to serve breakfast, they offer coffee, tea and a lovely Turkish pastry and a cupcake in the morning. Everything was amazing and it made me want to stay longer !

Retro, vintage style of the hotel and the rooms. Great view of the ocean and the sunset from the room window (the room with the ocean view is extremely beautiful and highly recommended). The staff was very friendly and highly accommodating. The hotel is on the main street with every restaurant and bus stops being accessible. The ventilation in the rooms was great and so was the wifi. Highly recommend the peaceful environment for couples and families.

The Kidalyo Hotel is situated in a beautiful old house with a lot of charme. From the balcony in the second floor, you have a view of the ocean. The owner was very friendly and gave us advice regarding things to see and where to eat. The restaurant he sent us to was excellent. Even though the place does not serve breakfast, there is an offer of tea and coffee (the owner made us Turkish coffee) and homemade pastry which was delicious. We loved that Ayvarlik is a small, charming town - very good to relax.

We spent 2 nights at Kidalyo Hotel in Ayvalik in early October 2023. Kidalyo Hotel is a tastefully restored historic stone house with 8 rooms. It was perfect for us. The owner and his staff were lovely, welcoming and pleasant. Our double room with a sea view was simple and charming. Tall windows and doors, wood floors, white walls. There is a one-story stone building between the hotel & the sea; our large window looked out over it to the sea. Beautiful, peaceful view. Good, modern, bathroom. Closet and wall hooks. Small refrigerator. Although breakfast was not included, the coffee or tea plus pastries that they offered us each morning was more than adequate to get our day started. Easy walk to the waterfront, restaurants, and shops. A perfect place to refresh and relax after the insanity of Istanbul!

No elevator: This was not a problem for us, and they helped with our luggage.

The staff is very kind and helpful. Answered all our questions, gave advice on places to visit/eat, helped us book transfer. The hotel is lovely. It's right by the sea and at the centre so you can walk to most of the places in town. Complimentary water available. Eventhough the room is offered as no breakfast, they serve some pastry and coffee in the morning which was great. Definitely recommended!

In the mornings, they serve very nice coffee and tea, along with pastries and muffins. It was all great. Everyone was very friendly. The location is very central, I walked around with my friends all day and it was very safe to walk the streets alone at night. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. Everyone treated us like family. Thank you very much everyone for this experience.

The moment we stepped into Kidalyo Hotel, a wave of comfort and familiarity greeted us, heightened by the delightful welcome of freshly brewed coffee. Its location is just a brief stroll away from the sea, city center, and an array of restaurants and bars. This makes it an ideal spot for both relaxation and exploration. The mornings here are a treat in themselves. Waking up to the aroma of tea and coffee, accompanied by freshly baked pastries, set the tone for perfect days ahead. For anyone looking for a blend of coastal beauty, urban convenience, and the warmth of home in Ayvalik, Kidalyo Hotel is the destination.

While Kidalyo Hotel had many delightful attributes, I did find our room to be on the smaller side. For short stays, it's perfectly cozy, but for travelers planning an extended visit, it might feel a tad confined after 1-2 nights.

The hosts, Mehmet and Hakan, offer a professional service but make you feel at home. They are always available and ready to help you, to give recommendations about restaurants and places to visit. Moreover, they are always ready to have a chat with you. We have really appreciated them. Kidalyo is very close to Ayvalik center and in front of the bus stop to reach all the beaches.

This hotel was quaint, adorable, beautifully furnished with antiques, and the staff were absolutely marvelous and kind. The hotel is in a narrow back street thst can be hard to find, and the owner spoke to us over WhatsApp, met us out on the main thoroughfare, and safely guided us to the hotel and a secure parking spot. It was a wonderful and cozy stay with excellent staff and a very special boutique hotel.
