Beautiful Hotel and located just next to the sea. Our family deluxe room had a sea view, room was air conditioned, clean and spacious. Hotel staff were very supportive and helpful, everyone is multilingual. Many restaurants/ cafes near by, and hotel also serve amazing food. Must try breakfast buffet, either at the restaurant or order a room service. Everything is Halal ! Most of the historic places are in Europe side, which is 40 minutes away by car, but trains are more quicker. Must try; boat trip, visit mosques, sea life, grand bazaar. Asia side also has many things to do incl. boat trip, water park and shopping. Yellow taxis aren’t too expensive. Train station is also not far, trains are clean and air conditioned, costs lira 7 per adult person! For travel advice, speak to Berkan, he is the man! Sabiha Gokcen airport is 25/30 minutes by car - yellow taxi will charge approx. GBP 8.

Hotel applies different tactics to deny you what you have booked, I have stayed three times in two years and always faced some inabilities to get what I booked e.g. non-smoking room or king size bed etc.

Very clean. The front view is amazing, if u care about the view don't pick the back rooms. We stayed in a room facing the sea and the view was amazing. Breakfast is fine. Good restaurants within a walking distance. You can visit nice big malls in the area by car(10-15 minutes). The place is great.

We got stuck with our children in the storm and they didn't support us when we called to find a taxi.

The hotel staff were amazing :) A large group stayed in this hotel for a wedding, so along with the hotel we organized a Gala dinner for 50 guests. The dinner was perfect, we had a large private area for us with a balcony as well, music system and a great team of servers. The food was amazing and definitely worth the price - several dishes were served and all were delicious. Besides the great experience on the dinner the whole process of organizing it with Canan from Cehavir was great, loads of communication and she was always helpful with any requests especially last minute ones. Also the room is quite big with loads of space. In terms of location you are about 10min walking for loads of restaurants and cafes.

The only thing I would point out is the tobacco smell in the room. We didnt mention this to the hotel and we could have changed room but since we had unpacked and didnt spend that much time in the room we were ok.

Cevahir is a very nice place to stay. With it's special view on the sea and the islands you'll never forget your stay there. Cevahir hotel is only 3 minutes walking to the bus station and 10 minutes to Maltepe Maramaray metro station that can connect you to the european side of Istanbul and all the important places in Asian side of Istanbul. The front desk receptionists were very supportive and professional 'and patient enough to answer my too many questions😄' especially Mr Aykut and Emre who saved no effort to make our stay comfortable. You only need to cross the street to reach the cornich which is a very nice place to walk in. The room was so clean and neat. If you're looking for a place to stay away from the buzy city and enjoy a nice view while still being able to move anywhere, so this hotel is what you're looking for.

Two things should be changed: 1- The smell of the towels. 2- The restaurant staff. The one who serverd us was Sooo rude. The hotel would have been rated higher if the restaurent waiter were polite. Cevahir deserves to be the best, but will only be so if they considered employing welcoming waiters. For me, i will sure visit Cevahir again but will never visit the restaurent.

The rooms were spacious and the staff were very helpful in arranging the required rooms. Restaurants and other facilities are at a walking distance.

The air conditioning in some rooms was not enough. It was hot even though the temperature set was at its lowest possible. We have made a wrong booking with Breakfast and without, but for some reason, the staff wasn’t helpful in this case in a way that we didn’t utilize our free breakfast efficiently and we had to pay excess while we still have free spaces.

Great hotel base while visiting family nearby. Spa / swimming pool amazing for price of hotel. Great room service and friendly staff. Good location by sea but distant from tourist attraction.
