Superb location, only 5 minutes from Hippodrome (Hagia Sophia & Blue Mosque), and 10 minutes from Topkapi Palace. T1 tram is 5 minutes the other direction. Breakfast items were excellent and delicious. Helped us to see more during the mornings w/o getting hungry until the afternoon!

Hotel is on a busy street with lots of tourist van traffic, so it can be noisy during evenings. Room #203 faces the street, so better to ask for room facing the back of the hotel if possible.

The hotel location is great with a 5 minutes walk to the closest metro station. The rooms are clean and spacious and the breakfast was good and fresh. The staff were the best thing about the hotel, they were really friendly and helpful. They gave us the best advice about which places to visit and the best way to get there. They also advised us about the best places to do shopping. We arrived early in the morning and we were offered an early check in for no extra cost. The same thing happened when we needed a late checkout. Overall, the experience in the hotel really elevated our stay in Istanbul. We felt like we were at home.

Staffs were very friendly and helpful, especially Kadir who contacted me to arrange my accommodation and transport. They upgraded our room for free, even though I didn’t ask. The room was clean with soft and comfortable bed. The shower was hot and nice. Another important thing, location is perfect as it’s close to restaurants, shops and other tourist spots.

Excellent hotel! Excellent location, many attractions within walking distance. There is a large selection of restaurants and cafes nearby. Very friendly staff. Quite comfortable room. Comfortable big bed.

The room has not been renovated for a long time. Carpet with stains and burn marks.

We booked a deluxe room with balcony though were kindly upgraded to the fourth floor suite organised by Mr Kadir. The suite was lovely, comfortable, very clean, two bathrooms with excellent showers and large well lit balcony overlooking the reverse side of Sultan Ahmet area and Bosphurus sea. The staff were all very kind and welcoming. The breakfast was really very good with plenty of variety. Location of the hotel is exceptional with all the majority of attractions in good walking distance. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Everything was superb

We had a lovely, very clean and spacious room with all the required amenities. The hotel owner who is also the host, went out of his way to assist us with transport, maps and information on Istanbul and even organised to get our one suitcase fixed that broke on the way to the hotel. He also upgraded our room with no extra charge which was a very nice surprise. You are offered tea or coffee every time you come back to the hotel. Our towels and water bottles were replaced daily. The aircon works very well and does not switch off when you leave the room which was very nice with the warm days that we had. The hotel's location was excellent - walking distance from the Grand Bazaar, the Blue Mosque, the Haggai Sofia and the Arasta Bazaar. The rest of the sights could easily be reached with the tram service that was also close by. The rooms are sound proof which is a bonus with the heavy traffic in Istanbul. There are nice restaurants very close to the hotel - so all in all, a wonderful and comfortable stay in a warm, busy Istanbul.

The staff in this hotel are AMAZING!! The customer service is the best we have ever received in any hotel. From the ladies at breakfast who always welcomed us with a smile, to the cleaning staff, again, who always greeted us with a smile. Above all the staff on reception, especially Celal and Kadir. Celal welcomed us when we first checked in with a huge smile and spent time showing us all the tourist places to visit on a map. He and Kadir both always greeted us like family and offered us Turkish tea every day whenever we came back to the hotel. Also special mention to Samed who we also saw a few times on reception, again, always ready with a smile and offer of tea. - Rooms are new and modern, bed is sooo comfortable. Good powerful shower. Always got daily bottled water in our room. - Excellent location, 5 minutes walk away from Blue mosque, close to plenty of shops and restaurants and to the tram line - On our last day we went out and on our return saw a fresh plate of fruit in our room which was a lovely surprise.

Just a little minor detail... the large mirror in the room and the bathroom mirror is tinted so was difficult to see yourself properly for shaving/applying makeup. Also lots of different tv channels but only 2 in English so we just had to have BBC News on. These are only minor details which could be improved but didn't impact our stay at all. Would still stay here again in a heartbeat!

Lovely modern hotel in the heart of Istanbul. The staff really make this hotel something special, offering tea and coffee every time you return from a day of sightseeing and taking the time to go through the local area on a map and point out where to go and how to get there when we arrived. From the offer of a free breakfast to a lovely plate of fresh fruit sent to the room on the last day, they really do go above and beyond to make your stay special.

Great location. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable, clean room, very good bathrooms, and we enjoyed the balcony views.

The air conditioning could have had a little more power. It seemed to struggle to cool the room much. The three internal doors (two to the bathrooms, one between the bedroom and lounge) shut themselves on a spring closer, banging the door against the lock housing. This seems completely unnecessary for internal doors, but maybe it is a legal requirement? Still, they could close more quietly. These minor issues did not detract from our enjoyment of the stay at the hotel. Very nice.
