Absolutely polite staff and helpful. Small rage of options for breakfast. The location of the hotel is excellent with great options to eat local food around.

The room was super small and no place to keep your bags. Once the bags are open, no place to walk whatso ever in the room. We were given the top most room, so had to walk one floor. Vegetarian options are limited in breakfast.

The hospitality, care and the welcome received at the Grand Kavi was outstanding. My room was comfortable and well presented. The free daily breakfast included was delicious and the lady hostess at breakfast was very pleasant. I must commend the reception staff Aziz and especially Ismail, who ensured that my stay was memorable by serving me complimentary Turkish tea. The staff are an encyclopaedia of local knowledge and made me feel at home. Location wise it’s a very short walk from bazaars, restaurants and the Sophia, Blue Mosque, museum and tram station. Overall this hotel is a ‘little treasure trove’ and staff give a 5* service to all that stay here. My commendations once again to the wonderful reception staff who made my stay in Turkey a memorable one.

Checkin was straight forward and easy and the staff were all very friendly and helpful,was my Second stay at the hotel and I think it's great value for money and room was very clean and tidy they can also arrange for a taxi to collect you and take you back to the airport all in all a very nice hotel to stay in from another satisfied customer!😃

Nothing at all it was all very good😃perhaps the only downside is the hotel is on a steep street but lots of restaurants near the hotel and attractions nearby, to get to the restaurants just turn right out of the hotel and walk down the street for about ten minutes and take your pick they all basically serve the same dishes one of my favourite was Sezgin restaurant opposite the Ahmet Efendi Konagi hotel which was nice and quiet if you want a quieter dinner and drinks and the Mira restaurant which is basic but nice also near to the restaurant is a cash machine if you need any Turkish Lira.

I really loved the kindness of the staff and how they helped with everything and the most sweetest and friendliest staff. I really enjoyed my stay here and it was very comfortable and very clean. The breakfast is always delicious, and the chef himself is so kind and helpful. I would surely recommend this hotel.

It's in the hustle bustle of Sultanahmet right among all the stores. Gives you an excellent perspective of regular life in Istanbul! Even though the location was busy, the room was quiet and clean. Walking distance to most tourist sights, tram was walking distance too. The staff were lovely and happy to help with any requests. The location felt safe, even when walking late at night. Would definitely stay here if I came back.

Hotel Location is close to Grand Bazar. Hotel Staff is friendly, helping and cooperative. Wifi speed is very fast.

Slightly overpriced as compared to our stay in other famous location in istanbul. Room size is small and not much space for placing your luggage. Less variety of breakfast. They should place wiper in bathrooms for water cleaning.

Location is perfect,close to everything interesting.Staff is amazingly positive and kind, especially Aziz, he's always there to help however is possible.Hotel and rooms are clean,calm at night yet so alive at day and streets around are full with shops and restaurants

There's absolutely nothing I didn't like! I traveled with my mother and she's pretty picky person, she was amazed how everything went. Thanks Kavi Hotel, staff and Aziz! Definitely going same hotel next time

The staff are nice, welcoming and helpful. The room is warm and clean, with carpet. Not too big, but enough ( I didn't check which directiion is the qiblat, so I don't know isit enough space to pray or not, and there is no sajadah, so bring one). Amenities all there. Location is perfect, tram and bus station is within walking distance. And grand bazar is just across the tram station. There are shops and restaurants nearby, starbuck and burgerking also within walking distance. Breakfast is delicious, with options of breads, eggs, sausages, cheeses jams, cucumbers and tomatoes, cofee and tea.

The cupboard is kinda high for me to hang the clothes ( my height is 150cm ) and this is my first cupboard that the hanger part is devided into 2 shelfs, usually the hanger part is only 1 shelf so we can hanged long clothes with no folding.

This hotel is very close to the tram station which made it easy for us to go to the Blue Mosque area. It’s like 4 mins walk away from the tram station/Grand Bazar. There are cafes, restaurants and grocery stores around the hotel. Hotel staff is very friendly and cooperative. Their breakfast is pretty good as well. Ismael and Alex both helped us whenever we needed something. The hotel is very neat and clean and their staff provided us with an amazing service. I would highly recommend it to couples and families :)

Would have been better if we had a few more hangers in the cupboard.

The staff at the hotel was extremely friendly and available at any time for any questions or needs. The room was spacious (which is not so typical for these kinds of hotels in Istanbul). Very close to the metro lines and other attractions. A nice breakfast as well, very tasty, could use a bigger offer for people staying at the hotel for more than a few days.
