From the moment we checked in, we were welcomed and felt at home. We were originally given a smaller room than what we had selected, however, the management quickly sorted us out and from then on our stay was very pleasant. The breakfast was amazing with gorgeous views overlooking the Sea of Marmara and friendly yellow legged gulls that visited us every morning as we had our breakfast. The location was also fantastic, and we found things were not as expensive as in Taxim. We would definitely love to stay here again! We thank the wonderful management and hotel staff from the bottom of our hearts, as they even arranged for breakfast early in the morning as we had to depart for our next destination in Turkey!

Honestly, this hotel was affordable and met all our expectations for a budget friendly hotel. If we had to choose between Ramada Pera and Grand Unal, Grand Unal by far would be our top choice!

Overall, my experience at this hotel in Istanbul was quite positive. The staff members were excellent, providing attentive and friendly service throughout my stay. What stood out to me was the peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal retreat after a busy day exploring the city. Additionally, the hotel's location was fantastic, situated conveniently close to both the metro station and various shopping areas, making it easy to navigate and explore the city.

While the room was a bit small, it was still comfortable and well-maintained. The facilities were satisfactory, although there is room for improvement. The breakfast offered was decent, although I believe there's potential to enhance the variety and quality of options available.

Location is amazing just in walking distance of local attraction, clean swimming pool nice sauna and bath. Receptionist were very helpful will stay again in next visit

Our stay in Istanbul this May was overall pleasant. The staff was amazing—humble, friendly, and always accommodating. While the room was not as spacious as depicted in the pictures and we booked a queen bed room but received a twin bed room, the staff requested us to wait for a day due to the hotel being full. The next day, they showed us a few rooms, but we found them a bit congested and suffocating. We chose to stay in our initial room, as it had a small balcony that made it airy. The room was clean and ready before our check-in, with fresh towels and toiletries available. Room service was provided daily, and they refilled toiletries as needed. Breakfast on the hotel rooftop was delicious, and the location was excellent—within walking distance to restaurants, bus stops, and the metro, situated in a tourist-friendly area. Overall, the experience was good with no complaints about the staff and their service.

Decent size hotel in a great location, only a 10-15 minute walk from possibly the liveliest square I have ever been to and 30 minutes from the Blue Mosque. Rooms were a bit outdated but beds were comfy and air con kept the room at a sensible temperature, also had a key lock safe in the cupboard. Shower was decent enough and basic toiletries were provided. Very easy checkin/checkout process and staff were friendly.

Could do with a bit of modernisation. Tv in the room didn't work, but probably because it was at least 20 years old. Slight smell of stale cigarettes but may just be the city. Breakfast had a good selection but wasn't your standard continental style (lots of olives, peppers etc) so wouldn't suit everyone.

The location is primary close to all relevant attractions though may not be suitable for elderly with reduced mobility as sultan ahmed mosque is 20 mins on tram. It is value for money, with good wifi connection, excellent cleaning house staff, cooperative reception. The breakfast is decent with some variety and roof top view of city. The variety could be enhanced as same breakfast served every day. Overall, I enjoyed the stay but since I checked out 2 days early the hotel did not reimburse me for early check out so felt little disappointed. I feel there may be better options out there so may not decide to come back to this hotel again.

The location of the hotel is just the best you can get. It's close to the Metro/ tram / marmaray and the buses. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved the baloney of their restaurants, it gives a lovely view of the landmarks of Istanbul. Their breakfast was also generous and varied, also delicious. I recommend for anyone wanting to visit Aksaray and Istanbul in a whole.

The room was a bit smaller than I expected but it was still comfortable. For the value of money it's worth it.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's amazing condition. It was exactly the same as 14 years ago. Even though it is not modern, the high-quality furniture has been maintained really well and the room was clean as well. Another amazing aspect is the safe location it was placed in. I arrived at the hotel at 4:30am and i waited in the lobby until 8:30, when a room became available and we were able to stay in it. Despite not having bought breakfast for the first day (due to early check-in), we were still invited to breakfast alongside the other hotel guests. We are truly thankful for the hotel's impeccable hospitality! I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to everyone looking for a hotel in this pricing range.
