Competitive price. Room and bathroom was clean, bed comfortable. WiFi connection good in room. Basic breakfast but standard for the price and by local cultural standards

Coffee at breakfast wasnt even half decent, need a better machine. On arrival receptionist had been smoking, did give a bad first impression but I arrived at midnight so maybe he thought no guests due. After that though, hotel hit the spot for a clean comfortable sleep and base.

The hotel is close to Aksaray tram stop from where trams can take you to the Hagia Sofia and the Sultanahmet Cami, plus Eminönü, from where ferries leave, so well-located. The room was a bit small, but I was a solo traveller, so it was fine. It can probably host a couple, but definitely not more people. I think there were other rooms for families. The communication was a bit difficult as I don’t speak Turkish and the people don’t really speak English well, but with the help of technology we sorted it out. My man, Haci (pronounced Ha-jee, the host) was very friendly and hospitable - he was even willing to lend me his Istanbulkart (top-up card used for public transport), but I told him I want to keep mine, so I will buy one. He was checking on me whenever I came through the door how I am and if I need anything from him. Very nice guy - he made me feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend.

The communication didn’t flow well, but as I said we managed to resolve this with the help of technology. When I got there I struggled a bit with the WiFi, my phones didn’t join, but Haci (pronounced Ha-jee) saved the day and managed to get it working for me.

My recent stay with family at the Hira Hotel was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we stepped into the elegant lobby, we were greeted warmly by the friendly staff member Necmeddin Bey who ensured every detail of our visit was perfect. The family room itself was spacious and beautifully appointed with indispensable amenities and a breathtaking view that made each morning feel like a dream. Additionally, breakfast options exceeded my expectations with delicious meals served with care and creativity. The interior design of the room is gorgeous, and it is very spacious with all the amenities you need. Lovely breakfast served at the hotel every day. It's located near the metro station and it's easy to get down to all the attractions in the centre.

The road leading down to the hotel was very dark. The bathroom is a bit small and it gets wet every time when one has the shower. The airport shuttle we book with the hotel was not quite we expected (don't think is run by the hotel directly), it is in some sort of van without the air conditioning so the journey to Istanbul SAW airport was not very comfortable especially in the weather of around 28-29 degree.

I liked most the warm of the room it was enough hot even that the weather was cool The guy at the reception was very nice and polite, always asking how we were and if we need something and always disponibile to provide us everything we needed The room was a little bit small for four people but it is ok for 2-3 days of stay The hotel was in front of the bus station, 5 minutes from tram and 10-15 min from train and metro station but tram leaves you at any touristic attraction

I expected a different breakfast, it was a basic breakfast with the essential things. I would like to have more variety of the Turkish breakfast as it is known I didn’t like that the bathroom was a little bit small and in the room were 3 towels instead of 4 as we were in 4, but when we asked it they give it immediately. One of the towels they left in the room after cleaning it was dirty and they changed only the towels and didn’t clean the room or the toilet But the staff was very polite and gave as immediately new towels

Very easy to access to the havaist bus stop (Aksaray).

Some small trushes were in the room.

Overall, it was a good experience, you get what you pay for, and here you probably get more for your money. Location is great, there's a bus station right in front of the hotel, train ride 3 min walk, airport buses 10 min walk. Lots of people bring up the lack of choice in breakfast, to me it was ideal, basic but good stuff.

Paper thin walls, you could hear everything from the other rooms, cleaning wasn't done under the bed, on the last night a gut wrenching smell was coming out of the bathroom sink, WIFI had a 2mbps download speed. They provide an electric kettle, which is awesome, yet they do not provide any glasses to drink from.

Clean hotel in a very convenient location, close to Aksaray station and tram makes travelling to different parts of city very easy.

Nice, clean, small hotel close to everything. The rooms are comfortable, the air conditioning is good, and the cleaning is almost daily

The breakfast buffet is small and repetitive. There is no service for frying eggs or healthy eating. There is no microwave or freezer in the food service. The elevator does not reach the restaurant below or the rooms on the fifth floor.

We were a group of 8. And booked 3 rooms. The rooms were large and comfortable to stay for 4 nights. The hotel is perfect. The location is great. Close to tram station and with walking distance to the old town Sultanahmet. The staff at the hotel are very helpful and kind. And made our stay enjoyable and stress free. The breakfast, though Limited it was good. We will definitely come back to Hira Hotel.
