If higher floor, you need to go up 4 levels by stairs, but it was the best room. I did not mind.

Hospitality, cleanliness, staff are very kind and attentive, specially Mr. Ali...he is such a kind, polite and helpful man Location is very near from taksim and metro

To reach taksim square you have to climb a hill but actually it's only once a day

With over 5 completed trips to Istanbul, my preferences and criteria of where to stay has definitely changed from the tourist who needs lots of guidance and the (false) feeling of security that the more renowned hotelchains provide. I definitely require 1) a central location, that enables quick links throughout the city 2) a self catering accommodation with (cable) tv and reliable steady and fast internet connection. 3) safety and cleanliness. 4) good quality to price ratio. After always being slightly dissapointed in previous stays, I nowadays book an initial few days (3/4) as its so easy to extend or book elsewhere with booking.com anyways. I like the staff to be helpful, but not overly helpful - with a ever so growing local social circle , there is sometimes the need to have my friends visit me in my own comfort zone (which can be a very annoying hindrance in many hotels in Istanbul) - With taksim square literally being a 2 minute walk I am never far away from the action (taxi’s, pharmacy, shopping area etc.) at Sunshine Taksim Suites, I’ve truly uncovered a hidden gem which ticks all of my boxes. Found in the street just parallel (behind) the main busy Road (giving that little extra shelter ) with a secured entrance (which works with an electric fob at night ) passing the numerously well placed security cameras, this 4 storey, *though no escalator having (which is apologised for profusely, which really isn’t a big deal at all) hotel/residence suite apartment complex is excellent in my opinion, to the point of it resulting of me extending my stay. Friendly professional staff that are willing to go the xtra Mile (like removing the hair from my hair brush 😂) I can definitely recommend this hotel for the young professionals on business, throwing in some pleasure and the more independent global traveler with set standards.

Sure People will always find something. Noises (which are part of city life ) no elevator ( get some workout in) and everything can always get updated. For the price paid and the facilities , location and comfort provided it beats many hotels I’ve previously stayed at (even if they were more modern or were fit with an elevator) such requirements take a back seat after the first few visits.

The place was perfect for what we needed. Above all the staff were absolutely incredible and helped us to arrange airport transfer, and all other questions and even in a situation with a bad taxi driver. When we needed items they gave it to us straight away and directed us. Really good people who are great st their job and have a great place. Thank you!

The location was excellent, close to Taksim metro and bustling İstiklâl Avenue. Additionally, there were plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops nearby, making it effortless to explore and enjoy the local culture. Ali, the host, proved to be incredibly kind and amiable. He readily helped with carrying luggage to the floor, considering there is no elevator, and the staircase is rather steep. Furthermore, Ali remained easily accessible and responsive throughout the stay, which was highly appreciated. The room was clean and well-equipped and included a fridge and washing machine, adding great convenience to the stay. In conclusion, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

My partner & I stayed at Sunshine Taxsim Suites for 7 nights during a recent visit to Istanbul. It was our first time to the city & this accommodation was in the perfect location to explore. We love to walk around when we visit somewhere new so we can get a really good feel for a place. There were so many amazing restaurants to choose from in the area. There is a metro station close by which would take your across the river & you can purchase the metro card from the hotel for a very small price . Ali is an incredible host. So friendly & so helpful. The rooms are a great size and the kitchen well equipped. I must also mention the amazingly comfy bed too! There are some stairs to climb depending on which room you stay in so bare that in mind if this is a problem for you. We could not recommend this place more, for its location, its cleanliness & its hospitality. Thank you Ali.

Taksim Sunshine Suites is well located in a quiet area, and only minutes from the main Taksim square by foot. The room is very Clean and staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The subway is about 200m by foot and the Havast Bus airport transfer is about 400 metres away by foot. So you do not have to get a taxi if you have reasonable amount of luggage. There is no lift, but staff was very very helpful and carried everything for us to the third floor. Highly recommended place to stay. Will stay again next time in town. Thank you.

The bathroom is slightly smaller than practical but it is still usable and very clean. The hot water system was sometimes unstable, which could be intermittently hot and cold. Istanbul is suffering from lack of rain, sometime the tap water stops running so prepare some drinking water just in case.

I stayed here for a couple of nights with my family. It has good value for money and is comparatively pretty close to Taksim Square. The staff is super friendly, especially Ali was a fantastic host.

It was a little bit hard to navigate the location of the place in the beginning. No elevators, suitable for people who have little luggage.

This is a great place to stay on budget. The hotel personnel is extremely nice and friendly. The rooms are thoroughly cleaned and comfortable. The location is very convenient if you want to be close to the shops, cafes, etc. 2/3 minute walk from the Taksim square. You’ll have an air conditioning and a very friendly welcome. 100% recommended.

There’s no elevator in case you have a heavy suitcase, stroller, etc.
