The property was beautiful and the staff was so kind and helpful. Their breakfast was delicious. They upgraded us to a room with a pool and the other room with a jacuzzi so it made our stay extra special. Additionally, they were able to squeeze in last minute excursions as well as move around activities based on our needs. They even were able to bring in massage services to our rooms. I highly recommend them!

The only disadvantage is that they don't have a downtown area that is accessible by foot. I wish they would provide free shuttle service to Goreme since that's the closest town.

Beautifully designed rooms, every detail is impeccable, comfortable beds, very helpful staff, amazing and huge breakfast, magical views of the balloons each morning and good location for access to points of interests/hikes. we really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

A small thing that didn’t ruin the stay. The cave room was very hot and poorly ventilated, which made it difficult to sleep. We were given a fan and dehumidifier, which helped a lot, but wasn’t ideal. Due to the lack of ventilation in the bathroom, black mould had built up on the bathroom walls, this needs to be addressed.

Great location, we could see the famous balloons of Cappadocia right from the hotel's terrace at sunrise. The buildings and the interiors are tastefully designed and maintained well and kept very clean daily. The breakfast is very generous, and the staff that serve the breakfast are very helpful and attentive! The hotel has also a nice restaurant (already pictured on Booking) 10 min walk away, and the hotel provided us a free transport to/from their restaurant. I would definitely recommend this hotel to people who travel to Cappadocia!

- It wasn't a big problem for us, but the room we got could be an issue for less mobile people as it had a steep staircase between the sleeping area and the bathroom. So if you could possibly have a problem with that, best to check beforehand for specific rooms. (But the attentive staff offered to move our luggage above, so that's great! ) - Blackout curtains could be a plus.

I chose Millstone over many other hotels because it claimed it had a restaurant for lunch and dinner, but actually it is 20 min walk or a shuttle ride away. This is not mentioned on the website/booking page, or at least it is hidden, so I did not see it The bar was not working when we asked for it, though reception serves vine

-rooms -clean -private balcony (and rooftop as we were the only one using it) -close to Uschisar Castle

-a bit isolated (vs. staying in Goreme) -reception staff had trouble understanding my questions about a morning hike -bfast (not a buffet, not much variety) -morning balloon views (beautiful but balloons are a bit far compared to Goreme)

Very peaceful and beautiful views all around, love the junior suite I was in. Staff were all very kind and spoke good English! The breakfast is fantastic, love all the little bits, amazing view. Staff were helpful from the start and offered drinks during our welcoming wait period, they also helped to book shuttle and taxis when needed. Lovely.

No air conditioning so the room was very humid, however the team were really kind to bring a fan up for me (it was still hot but they tried to help with it). The food offering in the menu to order is quite small. Some of the surrounding area still had works to be done. It would be really nice to have spa facilities here on site!

Superb hotel with beautiful views(maybe the best view in Cappadocia) and friendly staff. I loved our room. Felt like home away home. Breakfast was great, you can order whatever you like from the menu which is great. Breakfast terrace also looking over to this breathtaking view over Capadoccia valleys (you can see pigeon valley, love valley and the red valley). You can also watch balloons in the morning from the hotel or from your room but we chose going closer to the balloons to capture some snaps!

We really enjoyed our short but wild stay. We arrived very late and left very early, but appreciated every moment of it. Each of the suites had a terrace which was lovely, everyone had their own view of the balloons and the view was incredible. You could also arrange to have breakfast with the balloons but make sure you tell them in advance so they can accommodate you. We arrived late and were starving and everything around us was closed. Batu and Alperen offered to make us sandwiches themselves so we can eat but they also recommended of a doner restaurant far away that was a bit more pricy but delivered at that time. We definitely ordered and it was literally the best chicken doner we had in our lives - thanks for the recommendation. Also we left very early the next morning so we can do our day trip, and Alperen and Batu were extremely accomodating. We had to rush out breakfast and the ladies in the kitchen did exactly that and brought everything out extremely fresh and delicious. Don't worry about the honeybees - they don't hurt! Overall the bathroom was extremely clean and the bed and room were both clean. We are definitely going to come back to Cappadocia in the winter to see snow on the fairy chimneys and we would stay at Millstone again. Thanks so much.

I just wish there was a food option available 24 hours a day on site, but apparently Cappadocia sleeps quite early, or at least Uchisar does.
