Very friendly staff. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast and food was delicious. Lot of fresh fruits and great selection. Room service was perfect. TV in the room is netflix enabled. the grounds and garden are great. They could do better with the area around the pool but all in all was good. Early check in. Late check out.

Hotel bar was closed. Pool bar was too far. Some of the items on the menu in the restaurant are not prepared the way they are described. E.g. the tilapia in cream sauce. a

Our booking details were captured accurately and we got what we booked. The Victoria wing is amazing, very child friendly. The breakfast is great, the rooms r very clean especially the suite. The front office desk staff are amazing offering exceptional client service. The hotel staff offered a surprise birthday treat for my husband which made made it more memorable😍Thank you MRH team, we will surely come again🙏🏽

We ordered a plater for dinner which wasn’t so tasty. The meats and fish had a flat taste…. bet it can be improved☺️ The breakfast is great but the dinner ( a lacarte ) was disappointing🤭

Lovely greenery, good views, spacious rooms, ample parking, good food, all around good. Staff were very helpful and attentive especially the restaurant guys don’t feel shy to tip them as they do go the extra mile

The lack of a lift seemed to be an issue at times but it was a bonus as we got to work off all the extra calories we had consumed at the restaurant. Occasional power outages which were resolved quickly. Only issue was the aircon leaking almost everyday and had to call for the service guys to come up

I love to stay at this beautiful hotel. Stayed before. WiFi good staff so helpful. Quiet secluded area . Breakfast excellent. Sit outside if you want. A little beautiful Ruppel's Robin Chat came and hopped at our table one morning. A joy. My colleague enjoys the sauna. Every facility available. So enjoyable.

Nothing really. The had power supply problems on day but soon sorted

This is the new resort with the world level services and rooms: garden, pool, spa, gym, a restaurant with live music. They always had hot water! Sauna in the SPA zone is smth incredible with the sense of local herb infusions pit into boiling water surrounded with the boulders.

Construction works were still ongoing when we came, with heavy vehicles, levelling the territory which we could see and hear from our room. Most of the visitors to this hotel area do not stay in it. So the very loud music from the crowded pool was heard since midday till 10 pm. Also we would prefer if there was an elevator for the people living at 3rd-4tg floors.

It takes around 20 minutes to walk into Mbale town centre. The grounds are nice. The beds are comfortable. We had a balcony which was great for drying clothes, the shower pressure was fantastic, and there was a nice bathtub in our room.

There were two of us, but every day, only one water was provided. When leaving, I had to specifically ask for a bill. Unfortunately, the fridge in our room didn't work, so it was not possible to leave part of the large restaurant portions for another day.

Location - We stopped in Mbale on our way to and from Sipi Falls. We were very glad of the rest from travelling and so the location was perfect for us, like an oasis! Room - Clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. Facilities - Pools and restaurant are excellent. Breakfast was very nice and a good variety. Staff - Very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed the welcome drink on arrival!

The only flaw we could mention was that the mosquito net above the bed made the bed feel a little cramped. It was a round one that tucked in rather than the four poster style meaning it cut the corners off the bed. It wasn't a major issue though.

Abraham, the manager, was exceptional. There was glitch with my booking and the credit card and it confused me. He alleviated my stress and reassured me we would work it out the following morning because it was already late and I had a long day of traveling. He was professional, yet kind. The whole staff from housekeeping to reception to the restaurant are nice, professional and eager to please. Not over the top but ready at a moments notice to help. I definitely would stay here again and look forward to staying there whenever I am in Mbale.

If you have knee or hip issues then this may not be an ideal place for you. There is no elevator. I have had 3 knee surgeries so many flights of stairs will definitely not work for me. I had one flight which wasn't to bad but if there were none on that floor I would have had to find another hotel. The fridge in my room also didn't work but that wasn't an issue to me because I was there only 2 nights.
