The property is old (1960's Americana style) but recently renovated. The property was clean and in good repair. The pools were both immaculate and well maintained. Our room was clean and in good repair but small-ish. Breakfast was much better than we expected. What stood out is the staff. It felt like an old-school family owned "Mom & Pop Shop" where the staff are invested and really cared. Will definitely stay there again.

Breakfast was very crowded and it was difficult to get a table most days. Our bathroom didn't have a garbage can which was odd and annoying. We also didn't have WiFi in our room but they disclosed that our room was having WiFi issues when we checked in - not a huge deal but calling it out for completeness.

It had a fridge and microwave. Beds were clean and plenty of towels. Liked having a parking spot in front of our room. Staff was friendly.

location was not as close to the convention center as I had thought on the website (said two blocks, but actually a 7 minute drive), kind of difficult to get into from the street as it was a very short driveway to the main office door. I thought this was a newer hotel, for a Best Western Plus, it seemed more like an old school Best Western. It was not bad, just not what we expected. I could have paid the same for a newer hotel and closer location.

The location is right in the heart of downtown and within walking distance of several restaurants and shops. Location is also within 15 mins of several hiking trails including state parks and city walking paths. The bed was super comfortable and the room very clean. Area was quiet and safe. I would 100% come back here for a stay.

The breakfast needs work :( every morning the "hot" breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes was cold as a witch's hand - had to heat it up in the microwave - rather disappointing.

Very friendly welcome, great spacious and clean room with excellent air-conditioning (it was soo hot when we arrived), pool available, breakfast available in the morning. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, museum and located in a simply stunning area (Snow Canyon)

I found the breakfast buffet a bit sad. The presentation could have been a bit more appetizing. However, the mousse that changed every morning was DELICIOUS !

It was quiet. It was very clean! The bed was comfortable. (I have back issues) The gal who checked us in was very personable. Loved the outside pool area.

I didn't like being charged $50.00 for an 8.5 lb chorky. She's tiny. She doesn't shed, she didn't use the bathroom facilities, there was no clean up involved for her. She doesn't bark. The fee wasn't disclosed prior to check in. The fee should be based upon the size and breed of dog.

Great location. Clean. Quiet. Loved the pool. I was having car troubles on arrival. The two people working reception on check in helped me learn where to go in the morning to get my car checked. I was able to stay an extra night while the problem got sorted. The weather was hot and the pool was a lovely way to spend an unexpected afternoon at the hotel.

location, size of rooms, adjusting the breakfast (in times and in offerings) to the race days of Ironman.

the extra high rate during the Ironman event, was a bit too much for the offerings. I do respect that they can ask more during an event, but this much, give a too big of price/quality difference.

Room was renovated not long ago. So it was really nice. Larger Tv than most! Included Breakfast. Indoor and outdoor pools! Heated. With hot Jacuzzi. Close to everything we wanted. Bowling across the street. Antique and other shops within walking distance. Restaurants walking distance too.

Large trashcan outside rooms was not emptied and was over-full. Had to tell front desk and they emptied it right away.

Very pet friendly, the girl at the front desk was so nice, I feel horrible for not remembering her name but she was nice and very kind. We are on a road trip to take our dog who has cancer to the ocean and stopped in St George for the night on our way to the coast. She told us the best place to get gas in the morning and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.

The staff here was extremely friendly. The outdoor pool was also very nice to have as it was over 100 degrees when we visited. Breakfast has a wide array of options, hotel breakfast food but still could find something nice.

Only complaint is that there isn’t great soundproofing so if someone walks past your room you can hear them through the window and if they run, it shakes the bed a little. Luckily we didn’t have a big noise problem but something to consider if you book a weekend/holiday
