The location is great in my opinion, because it’s only a minute or two away from Cheddars and a few other restaurants, gas stations, the best movie theater in Beaumont, and Main Event (arcade, games, pool, bowling, laser tag). Its on the far south side of Beaumont so not close to the mall and such, but I like the little loop it’s on. I also liked how clean it was. There was absolutely no “strange smells” in this hotel and the weight room was actually quite lovely! I’m not sure what it was about it- the atmosphere, decor, layout… but it was my favorite workout room so far at hotels. Has a nob to turn the music up or down. The washer and dryer is also in the workout room area with a wall partition. The lady at the counter gave us free water bottles. The pool was a salt water pool. No chlorine! And it was a wonderful temperature and exceptionally clean. I am so picky about pools and I felt comfortable in this one. The rooms were very roomy and very clean. No musty smell from the AC (we had 124). Rooms also have a large pull out rolling table to eat on. Dishes and silverware are also provided with a full size fridge. Shower is large and all soaps are also provided in the shower attached to the wall. The breakfast was raved about in some reviews, but it seemed normal to me. Waffle maker, cereal, oatmeal, and a toaster for your bagels and stuff. The scrambled egg and breakfast sandwiches were in a little shelved heated container and you get out what you want with tongs. The egg was made omelet style and folded over, breakfast sandwiches were egg, sausage, and cheese varieties. The apple juice wasn’t watered down.

The only thing I WISH they would change- is the bathroom door and the exhaust fan. There’s no exhaust fan! Do you know how important an exhaust fan is with a husband? Courtesy flushes cannot replace an exhaust fan. also the bathroom door is a sliding door….??? You can still see in through the edges if you wanted because it fits “just right” over the opening. No locking it either. Other than those two things- this place is amazing- and I would put up with these issues for all the other benefits.

The breakfast was ok. I am typically used to having scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, sausages/bacon, etc. The breakfast here was not the standard, if that's what you're looking for. They served English muffins breakfast sandwiches, omelettes, oatmeal, various breads/muffins, and fruit. They used real utensils, plates, and glasses. That was a pleasant surprise. The location was good because it sits right off of the highway. The housekeeping staff were very friendly.

I would've preferred to have more familiar breakfast options. The sliding door for the bathroom was a little different. It was quiet when closing, but definitely louder when opening up because you couldn't determine the distance or your strength. One elevator did not work; so instead of 2 elevator options, there was only 1 to use besides taking the stairs.

Breakfast was very good & staff were very helpful & friendly. Would have liked for better selection of fresh fruit and breads. Also the dining area layout was sort of cramped. Overall a good experience.

Hope that the road construction is completred soon. It was difficult to get to the hotle due to off ramp from I-10 was closed dur to road construction. The location of the hotel is great with food & entertainment sources very close by.

It was very clean and quiet. As an older female, I felt very safe at this location. The desk clerks were cheerful and helpful. I appreciated the frozen dinners that were available for purchase on the one night I did not go out. The free bottled water was a nice perk.

The bed was not comfortable, but I don't know if it was actually the bed or my bad back. I am not a fan of pillow top matresses.

Spacious and super clean. Room was very nice size. Stocked with real dishes, dishwasher, fridge, microwave e.t.c Loved the bathtub. I can hardly find rooms with a tub any longer, so that was what made the decision for me when we booked the room. Everything is immaculately clean. 2nd time booking at a Home2suites and not disappointed. We have now stayed at one in Amarillo and this one. Definitely recommend.

Bed was too hard.

The layout of the room was nice. it was spacious and well equipped. Remote control curtains. :-) The room and bathroom was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I can’t really say I didn’t like this but the body lotion bottle was empty. We had lotion with us. Just wanted to try theirs because the body soap, shampoo and conditioner were a quality brand so we thought the lotion would be nice as well. This is not a complaint.

everything except morning of check out

I called down to front desk to let her know that I would be a bit (max 30 minutes) checking out and she said that she didn’t have any late checkouts available! what does that even mean? I told her that I wouldn’t be able to leave my room at 11 and she said…I will have to charge you for another night. I hung up and got ready. Later that day I received a receipt in my email and yep..charged me double for checking out minutes late

First, the pillows were excellent and the breakfast was great. Shy poopers beware as the bathroom door is a barn door that doesn’t lock and has a gap. This is neutral statement but it may matter to some.

It would have been five stars if the bathroom was clean but there was junk left in the shower and the corners were gross. If I had cared more I am sure they would have been happy to move our room, but the positives were great.

All staff was very friendly. The well lit and clean property was appreciated. Liked the modern look of the room and overall property.

The breakfast time should be about another hour longer and maybe 1 more waffle iron. One night there was a group of boys loitering in the parking lot playing loud music. The police drove through but did not stop.

The hotel and individual rooms were very clean. They have a good size pool with a lot of lounge chairs. They have 2 areas with lots of seating and a gas grill so you can hang out and cook. They also have a large lounge area that also has nice, outside searing with 2 gas firepits. It's also a pet friendly hotel, but bring your own doggies bags to pick up after your pooch. They have receptacles bit the bags were empty.
