No contact check in is an absolute dream for people with anxiety. Everything was through text and the only time I had to talk was when I phoned the owner to ask about how to get my keycard. She is a great host and I didn't even see her in person a single time. Very understanding and accomodating especially since I arrived super late due to train issues. The bathroom is also surprisingly luxurious and makes you forget you're supposedly in a 3* hotel. The double glazing on the windows is also appreciated. Wifi is speedy. The room in general is just very nice and well presented.

I could nitpick things like the string on the blinds being broken (but still 100% functional!) or the bedding being rough and fairly average but most of it doesn't matter too much tbh. For what it is, the hotel either meets your expectations or exceeds them. Should be worth noting that the main light glows green in the dark. The owner said this is an emergency light thing but its worth mentioning in case you're the kind of person who needs complete darkness to sleep and might need an eye mask.

Excellent Rooms with an ideal location along the main high street, but also on the quiet end so an added bonus. Rooms had a great aesthetic, and mine was very spacious and modern with a decent sized bathroom and a very good shower. The whole room was spotless and although I booked a double room I was gladly greeted with a comfy king size bed upon arrival. Check In was also great as before hand they contacted me and gave me hotel and check inn information. The use a convenient app that lets you download and have direct access to the keypads from your phone to use on your doors etc.

Due to location above a function/bar you there are no amenities in comparison to a usual hotel, it felt more like an Airbnb but with hotels rooms. The property owner/manager contacted me through text/phone and she was always quick to respond. Some people like interaction but I quite like the no hassle and straight forward check-in and check-out. However this didn't phase me at all and was very happy with my room and service.

Good location although you can only see the front door of the hotel when you arrive so it is a bit dingy looking. However, it is light and airy, well decorated inside and the room is very comfortable. Tea, coffee, and drinking chocolate plus bottled water so very good. We would stay here again

Front door could do with a coat of paint but otherwise it is clean and tidy. The stairs to get to the rooms are quite steep so just be aware if you have luggage to carry.

Was difficult to get in as we didn’t receive any check in info (maybe a fault with booking.com) The hotel looks extremely dodgy from outside. Don’t let that put you off though. We would stay again. The chick king place over the roads food isn’t the best.

The room was spotlessly clean and the bathroom was excellent. The bed was comfortable and I had a lovely overnight stay. Check out time was good 12pm. I would definitely stay there again

The only issue is there isn't any onsight parking or any parking near the hotel.

Nice, clean rooms that were serviced every day. Good decor and well located in Carmarthen. We didn't meet any staff and used an app as a key to get into the building - this went smoothly!

clean and convenient. good bed and bedding, good shower. I needed a no fuss late arrival, early departure stopover. it worked very well in that respect. parking easy on the street.

only improvement I would look for would be better quality shower gel, unless local water is extremely hard and difficult to lather?

Central location only 10 minute walk from the train station and 5 mins from the bus station. Very clean, quiet room with a comfortable bed and soft linen and towels. Good communication from the staff and easy check in.

Very comfortable room, and friendly staff. Although I did not meet any staff face to face, I did talk to Zoe over the phone, who was very helpful and patient me - a guest who missed some obvious instructions!

Very minor point. When I called the reception number it just rang out. I had not seen the text that mentioned how to access the room (very busy day at work), so it would have been useful for me if the main number had either a recorded message about this or if it automatically forwarded to the mobile number.

Good sized, nice and clean rooms, sheets and bed. Good restaurants and takeaways nearby. Caretaker Justina was helpful.

It's hotel like rooms without a reception or a person, so have to rely on the mobile number provided. Overnight street parking is free, else have to park at an allocated space about half a mile away. Night club nextdoor maybe noisy.
