The ambience, decent food at a good price, good drinks nice comfortable room, good breakfast. Indian style Chicken burger was great. The lady who greeted us on arrival and showed us to our room was very welcoming and made a real effort which is rare these days, well done and thank you

Room lights by the bed needed attention as falling apart as were the wardrobe doors. Curtains need replacing as well old and tired. Good shower and bathroom with blind. Only 3 sachets of coffee and not enough milk portions, 4 is a bit tight! Please chef if your going to put on a Mediterranean Risotto put olives in the description as my wife's had 10 and she hates olives!!

We had our (large) dog with us and, as well as being generally friendly and helpful, the staff couldn't have done more for 'Bruno'. Food was good quality and the terrace / garden area was very imaginative, with small alcoves to sit in, thus shaded from sun or rain, as well as tables in the open. The room, in the old coach house, was large enough and well equipped, with a good shower, and my partner - who knows about these things - says we have never been anywhere cleaner! The restaurant, in the fascinating old mill, is accessed via steep stairs, but anyone with limited mobility was catered for in the bar at ground level and the staff were very alert to that possibility. The grounds, front and back, were very pleasant to walk around and the gardener was very chatty and sociable, typical of the staff in general.

If you really want me to find a negative, the coffee could have been better prepared, stronger and a bit hotter. The page is blank apart from that.

My room was spacious & comfortable with a very nice bathroom. My friends & I ate dinner in the restaurant area twice & we were impressed with the service, given we were a large group. My meals were excellent! The Mill has a lovely grassy area out front & we enjoyed being able to sit out there at the end of our day in the sun with a drink. Plenty of parking space

It would have been nice to have had a larger bar area where my friends & I could have met up for a drink before dinner on out first even8ng as it was pouring with rain & we couldn’t sit outside. Although we had a designated dining table to have a drink in a more relaxed setting before our meal would have been great!

the location was incredibly quiet. There was actually a school prom being hosted in the tithe barn and we arrived at 10pm as many parents were arriving to collect their teens- their arrival was incredibly well organised and didn’t interfere with our arrival or enjoyment of the area. If we had not seen the signs we would not have realised this was happening on site. next morning we wandered around the site and loved the quirky props and “beer garden” Our accommodation in the house was really warm and welcoming. Furniture was comfortable and the bed was massive!

very small point would be the tight space in which the loo was placed beside the Bath in Oaktree room- made it a little snug for ladies with ample bottoms to sit down comfortably ;-)

Great setting - lovely rural environment with some beautiful buildings as part of Haselbury Mill. Delicious dinner and very generous. Had a starter and a side instead of a main course and they brought it out as a main in size without me requesting this and I was still only charged for a starter and a side. Also gave us bread, oil and balsamic as a nibble beforehand which we did not ask for and which was on the house.

Very noisy drunk customers sitting outside who thankfully went home fairly soon. This wasn't the fault of Haselbury Mill of course.

Good choice of breakfast and excellent food. Dinner was very good. We had a lamb rump the first night which was so good we had it the second night too! Room was is the main building which was a magnificent building with great views over the adjacent fields. There is also an incredible, enormous tithe barn built out of the local yellow ham-stone which is used for functions. Extensive grounds and river.

The approach is along a track with old classic cars and commercial and military vehicles awaiting restoration. These would be better stored under cover and out of sight as makes one think that one is in a scrap yard.

The room was comfortable and spacious. A bit dated but fine. We had a lovely meal in the evening. Excellent food. Good choice of wines and beers. The breakfast was served in the upstairs old Mill building. It was buffet style and very good. plenty of choice of items too. It was a really lovely complex. There had been a wedding the night we stayed so breakfast was quite busy. No problem though. there were plenty of staff working. All the staff were friendly and helpful. A lovely setting. lots of outdoor space by a pond for eating and drinking.

Stunning location. Very quiet. Food was plentiful and fantastic. Easy parking near my room. Definitely stay again. Easy to find. Great to have hot chocolate in the room! Love this place.

I understand the room I had was in an old part of the building but I could hear the whole conversation of the person in a room next to me. Something I really don't enjoy for obvious reasons! But apart from that the Mill is gorgeous. Needed a better light in the bathroom as slightly to dim to apply the makeup! Ha

Excellent food in the restaurant, dinner and a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning, along with the sunday papers to read! The restaurant/bar has a lovely cosy, light feel to it and we enjoyed a cuppa of tea in there when we first arrived. The staff were very friendly and were very accommodating when we asked to have an early supper as well as allowing us to check in early as the hotel was not busy this weekend.

The bathroom in Pine View, it was an adapted room and it had a wet room and got very wet after a shower but I can imagine perfect for a person using a wheelchair etc

Lovely location, nice garden, VERY CLEAN room 😍 and bathroom, nice tea tray in room . Good breakfast. Really friendly, helpful staff!!! Very welcoming to our small dog, too 😊 I liked the decorations and furniture in the hallways, lovely paintings and carved wood furniture items. All Lights and bathroom fan work well, sufficient electric sockets in bedroom.

Creaky bedframe and floor boards, latter understandable in an old building though No pen and paper in room
