An amazing place to stay for someone with disabilities. Room was huge, big enough for my wheelchair to move around comfortably. The wet room again was huge and meticulously clean. I went with a friend and the room had a double and a large single bed with loads of space in between. The cupboard space there was fantastic, loads of drawers. A huge wardrobe with mirror on sliding doors. Obviously I couldn't reach the top hangers but there was a low rail too, great for me. The dressing table again was huge. Hairdryer in the drawer and plenty of space to put make up etc. Lovely TV on the wall, with all the apps which you could use if you wanted to put your home details in and delete when leaving. Staff were so helpful and courteous and food to your door if I wasn't able to get to the restaurant at no extra cost. I could go on about how much I loved this place, but I'd end up boring you. Would highly recommend this place and will definitely return. Thank you all for your hospitality!

I would of liked a toilet brush in bathroom, or the rubber ones they now have. But still not complaining!

Lovely staff, clean hotel and really nice meals. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. The towels were replaced regularly and the room cleaned during our stay. We ate at the hotel twice and the food was really nice plus always hot. This hotel was ideally situated near the wedding venue that we were attending for a family wedding.

Our room was too hot due to it being split into two areas and a very small window in the room. However, the staff gave us fans and that made a huge difference. Only other issue was traffic noise as the hotel is on the main road to Nuneaton but it was minimal.

The restaurant produces superb food, amazingly fast, plenty of options, and always piping hot and cooked to perfection. The breakfast fried eggs are the best I have ever had in any hotel.. and the chef is fully prepared to go off menu and satisfy my standard request of "Can you do just 3 rashers of bacon and 2 fried eggs please?".. They could survive as just a superb all day restaurant. Being able to stopover is a bonus...

As a Safety Manager, I have to note that 2 fire alarms were cancelled on my last visit without any explanation to residential guests - This was related to sizzling items on the menu apparently, and the restaurant guests may have been informed, however I was working in my room and had no contact to explain either alert. I had to go to Reception to check there was no actual fire.

The accessible rooms are separate from the main hotel with a disabled space in front of each unit. Well appointed in general with goodish facilities. The breakfasts are excellent & the staff were vv helpful. Room service was also excellent. Was very clean except for the wardrobe shelves, which were a bit dusty. Was an excellent location for us. Overall the good outweighed the issues. Good value for money.

The seat in the shower is useless to anyone over 8 stone. I wouldn't dare sit on it. Shower water pressure was a little low. Only supplied 1 hand towel for 2 guests. No actual seating in the room, aside from the dressing table. The picnic area & children's playpark is right next to the disabled units, which meant lots of noise until quite late.

The food was excellent, 1st class. The only criticism is that the portions were far too large and did not leave any room for a dessert, which looked great from what I saw other people having.

The room was a really good size. Even though there were 2 beds in the room there was only one chair ( an upholstered dinning chair} to sit on which was really uncomfortable to sit on for any period of time, such as watching the TV in the evening. I did mention to reception that the chair had a faulty back and it was quickly replaced. There were no net curtains or blinds to pull over the window to stop people looking in or when children were playing on the play area just up from my room. There were just thick curtains which blocked out all the light.

The staff are fantastic, extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The food was very good and plenty of it (if your on a diet ask for smaller portions!!!!). Our first night was disturbed as the room (19) backed onto the ventilator shaft which did keep us awake, but after a quick word with the lovely receptionist in the morning, we were relocated to a room (15) well away from the noise. No fuss, no bother.

A tiny thing, I personally prefer large cups for my morning cuppa, the ones in the room are the standard hotel coffee cup size.

Easy to find, good location, plenty of free car parking, free WiFi that would stream a program from BBC I Player & a good breakfast included in the booking price - Checking in was painless, the staff were attentive, room was clean, the bathroom had recently been refurbished, dinner in the bar was available with a good selection at reasonable prices.

Probably 2 things that could be better - Reception was quite deep into the property instead of being at the entrance (not a big thing) secondly, maybe bedrooms could do with a bit of soundproofing as its noticable when people are moving around in adjacent & upstairs rooms.

There was ample car parking and reception were very polite and sorted us out regards to our room quickly and efficiently. The room was lovely, just right size - with a big tv on the wall at the bottom of the bed and a real good shower. The evening meal was superb, you get real big portions and a massive amount of options on the menu - a lot of it rather spicy and I have never been anywhere where the staff were so friendly and efficient at serving your food. Breakfast was also a winner with some good choices on the menu - I went for the Magna full cooked - which was the largest and you got two of everything including eggs - which is a first for me. It's also in a very good location for visiting Calke Abbey and Twycross Zoo.

There were tea/coffee making facilities but there was'nt much on offer and we only got four milks.

The room was lovely and spacious with 2 single beds and one double bed. The bathroom was good and clean. There was a kettle and fridge in the room, as well as a TV. The room was in a great location and easy to get into. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Lovely play area for the children. We ate in the restaurant and it was amazing! The food portions were huge and everything was delicious, we were really very impressed.

The bed was not particularly comfortable and they were not well made. We didn't have enough towels for the 4 of us. The room was dated but this wasn't really a problem for us.

Great location, lots of outdoor space. Play area was lovely. The food was delicious and served really promptly. Room was a great size, really glad we had a fridge too. Staff where really helpful and friendly.

We had room 34- which was a lovely room in a great location to bar/play area and a decent size for a family of 4. My only issue was we couldn’t have front window open (august and very warm) as the kitchen staff took their well earned breaks on the grass area outside of our room- no objection to this, they work hard and it was a lovely sunny spot for them to have a break and some time to chill. But several members smoked, so our room smelled strongly of cigarettes each time someone was out taking a break which was unpleasant.
