The room and bathroom were very clean, the bed was comfortable. We didn't eat in the restaurant as we found a lovely Italian restaurant a three minute walk from the hotel. The buffet breakfast wasn't available as it was January and there were not many people staying at the hotel so I ordered the full English from the breakfast menu and it was delicious. Also had cereal, fruit, yogurt, toast etc available to help yourself. Plenty of free parking at the hotel.

The traffic noise during the night but it was only because I am not used to traffic noise as I live in a cul de sac.

Theres nothing to dislike at this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great in town centre with free parking. Short walk from Norton Common park, with black squirrels in abundance. Not ever seen a black one before, so new experience to add to my stay. My room was clean with plenty of condiments and had a bath, with plenty of hot water, something you dont find often. Breakfast was included, small breakfast menu plus continental table, catered for everyone'. Morrisons is just next door if anything was needed.

I found nothing to dislike at this hotel.

B eing woken up by a delivery truck delivering to the hotel at 5 am outside my bedroom window. I know deliveries need to be made, but a refrigerated truck left running outside your window with tail-lift up and down and crashing around with a pallet truck at that time of the morning was uncalled for Then breakfast. I was there at 7am, placed my order at 7.25 I asked where it was because I was pushed for time to be told it's in its way now. A few minutes later a staff member came up and asked what it was I ordered because they had forgotten. I was offered a bacon and egg sandwich instead for speed. Was not happy. I stay there for convenience, and I don't want to look elsewhere, but if issues continue, I may have to.

The room was clean and tidy, not super modern but nice, bed was comfy and the shower was great - albeit over the bath. Breakfast was a standard buffet affair so could have been fresher, but they were happy to cater for my wifes gluten and dairy intolerances - which is always a good sign and important to us. All the staff I spoke to were really friendly and helpful, we didn't eat there other than breakfast but the lunch/dinner menu looked alright.

Nothing really stood out to dislike, only mild irritation was that our room was near a fire door in the corridor which banged every time someone came through it, so it was a bit noisy in the morning before we got up.

It's always the little things... Ancient elevator only big enough for one man, one case, dangerously clunky; our bathroom had an extractor fan that sounded like an industrial machine, a shower tap that wouldn't stay in position (so couldn't regulate temp) and a layout that made getting into the bath/shower something of a parcours! Our side window didn't open properly so we had to open the front window (street facing) which meant it was very noisy - especially when the recycling truck emptied bins at mad o'clock on a bank holiday! The main light in the room wasn't working so we used the bedside lamps. Oh, and no bedside table on one side so we had to improvise with chair and tray. Apart from that.... 😅

Excellent location, close to the station. We had everything we needed in the room, which was spatious and comfortable. The restaurant / bar area was very welcoming and comfortable. The price was competitive, especially as it included breakfast.

The breakfast was ok, but the continental buffet was quite basic. The full english was ok, but quite a small portion and the second day the bacon and tomatoes were overcooked. Given it was included we didn't mind, but we've had better elsewhere.

lift too small - 2 thin women with 1 small suitcase, 1 woman hit by folding door each time; and scary - no alarm, no communication, no indication of floor handrail on stairs thick and hard to grab, no handrail for last steps at bottom, I think no handrail at hotel front entrance

Staff upgraded us, without charge, to a family room to give us more space. Bathroom was bigger than expected. Attractive toiletries provided Double and single beds. Tv, kettle , tea and coffee sachets, Nespresso coffee machine Buffet breakfast was amazing! So much choice. Fruit, cereals, toast, juice, coffee Hot items - bacon, sausages, scrambled and fried eggs, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, hash browns. Superb!!

Bathroom door didn't close and curtains rather worn

very nice breakfast menu, not your usual greasy breakfast buffet order what you want from the menu. polite staff. fairly priced especially with breakfast included. I would visit again if in the area.

very small room, it was also very hot as we were in what seemed to be the attic but a fan was provided so could've been a lot worse. no shower only bath as an option. and no cameras in the parking are would've been nice to know when we booked rather than when we arrived.

A well located hotel right in the centre of town with a good car park and pub facilities. Good breakfast was included in the price.

There was a Nespresso machine in the room but not really needed by us as there was a kettle as well. However, it was just as well because the cups provided in the room must have been changed at some time and were too tall to fit the Nespresso machine! Unless you really have to use the lift, don't! It is old and claustrophobic. It will only take up to 2 persons in my opinion.
