Convenient location, close to a subway station. Nice staff members, especially those at the breakfast hall that went above and beyond to serve the guests. Cozy and clean room.

The room had no A/C, something that I knew when I booked, but It's way too hot during summer. At least a fan would have been a good idea, But that's ok, it's not a big deal. The things that surprised me negatively are: the lack of mini-fridge in the room to keep water bottles cool in this hot weather and the lack of bath amenities, specifically shampoo and body wash, things that are essential in all the hotels of all categories.

The hotel is located in Paddington, and about 5-8min walking distance from the Paddington tube station (we also noticed a bus connection to Stansted airport, although we did not use that). The rooms are small but equipped with everything needed. During nights, it was a bit noisy if the window is left open, but this was really unproblematic. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Supplies forgotten or needed can be bought from many shops nearby, and there is also plenty of places to get all sorts of food at all times of the day. The hotel itself was offering a really good value for money balance.

The breakfast buffet was really small; hardly more than a few pieces of toast, butter, jam, ham and cheese, coffee, tee and cereals. Yoghurt was not every day available, and fruits were also a bit missed by us (likewise cocoa); perhaps perfect for people who are not "big eaters" in the morning, but can be a bit limited for children's taste. But as mentioned in the positive comments, there are places to buy almost everything within a few metres from the hotel.

Very good hotel for leisure trips. Situated very close to Paddington railway, tube station (about 10 minutes walk) and to local bus services. Perfect location, quiet hotel and very close to Hyde Park and to Central London with shops and restaurants. Buffet breakfast was delicious. The staff were great and especially at breakfast were so friendly, helpful and real professionals. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was fine, would definitely stay there again.

The staff was nice the room was fine, no noise at all

The hotel has a lounge where you can make coffee, which had pretty much 0 cups, 0 knifes, 0 folks, no snacks, no nothing literally 2-3 tea bags and one cup for the entire hotel. The hotel needs to sell snacks, items, sweets, like a little stand with things you can buy, also some cups, knifes, folks for customers to use, the hotel lonuge needs equipment for customers to use.

The location was good relative to access to the tube station /Paddington, Restaurants and general shopping area. I must note that the faculty was very clean and serviced daily. The harsh pungent detergents which are used by many London hotels seems not used here.

I think and have gotten used to having soap available for showering provided by the hotel but only hand washing soap as available so body soap had to be purchased. We always carry out own toothpaste as standard practice. I think that small safes in each room would be a good addition for passports and other valuables.

Such a pleasant stay! It was only a short stay so i wanted somewhere with a great location for easy travel and nothing too expensive. I booked my stay just two days prior to my journey and got such a good price. I booked a two night stay as i only came to London for a concert so I was after convenience and the best possible price. I did think as the location is so great (5 minute walk from Paddington Station) and the prices the lowest in that area that it probably won’t be that nice as some hotels are known for just selling the location and not really caring too much about the comfort of their guests once in the hotel but i was so impressed! The hotel is located in a street full of hotels, one after another, so the area felt nice and safe as there was staff on desks in every single hotel you walk past 24/7. I had a single bed room which was on the smaller side floorplan wise but as the space was so well organised it felt perfectly fine. The bathroom was also clearly newly renovated and everything was so clean and nice! I was also so surprised to find out that breakfast was included in my price (you can tell how last minute i booked as didn’t even read all the details) and when coming back from my day trip on day one, my room was serviced, which again isn’t always the case. I stayed in boutique hotels in the area that are double the walk away from the station and they charge extra for the room to be serviced on top of their alreayd higher prices. Staff were so nice and helpful from the moment I arrived and even prior to arrivial as i had a couple of questions regarding arrival so i message via the Booking.com all and they replied to my message within the hour. I was even able to leave my luggage there after checking out as i had about 4 hours waiting time before catching my train home and got to stroll around London hands free whilst bridging this time! And speaking of arrival and departure - Check in was 2 pm and check out was 11 am which is amazing!

The only tiny thing i can think of was the bathroom fan - It just turned itself on randomly during the day and night even without the key card being in the electricity card slot. I couldn’t see a fuse or switch for it either but it wasn’t a big enough thing to ask staff about as i once closing the bathroom door you couldn’t really hear it. If I would’ve asked staff they probably would’ve solved it for me so this is definitely not meant as a negative comment.

Despite the 3-star status of the hotel, it left only positive feelings. I stayed at Orchard Hotel for 3 days in June. The check-in process was very easy, and the reception area looks better in real life than in the photos. The room was clean and well-lit, and the new, efficient lift quickly brought me to my floor. The room was tiny but spotless and well-equipped, providing everything you might need: towels, a desk with a chair, a wardrobe with hangers, a hairdryer, and a couple of glasses for water. While you do need to bring your own shampoo and shower gel, I was prepared for that. The reception is only open during certain hours, but the hotel itself operates 24 hours a day. Despite returning very late (4 AM) each night, there was always someone available to open the door for me. My room had a tiny window with a view of the backyards, and it was very comfortable for sleeping. The area around the hotel is clean, safe, and conveniently located. Although I didn't attend the hotel breakfasts due to early hours and mediocre reviews, I found a nearby M&S food shop just 5 minutes away, where I always had my breakfast. Lovely! I would definitely stay here again.

The room is way too small but still very compfy, pricy in summer

When I booked room for 3 I expected a double bed and a single bed, I was very pleasantly surprised when we got a room with 3 comfortable beds, and nice warm blankets (we visited in November so the weather was rather cold and rainy). The bathroom was small but everything you need is there, we got fresh towels every other day which I appreciate because there is no need to change every day. The room was very clean and was cleaned every day. Personal was very friendly and helpful, breakfast ladies even offered to toast us our gluten-free bread. The surrounding is very quiet but public transport was also close. Stores with food, souvenirs, and restaurants were within walking distance (tens or hundreds of meters) and Paddington station is 5-7 minutes. We very much enjoyed the stay and would stay again.

The only disadvantage was breakfast, the breakfast room is really small and we had to wait for a table 2 out of 4 days. Also, the breakfast is made out of 1 type of cheese and ham, jam, butter, and boiled eggs, and that repeats every day. The coffee was reasonably good. In the room I missed a little a kettle for tea or coffee and minifridge.

The location was the beat part since it was a 5 minute walk to Paddington Station. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was spacious. We didn’t get to try the breakfast. The staff were also friendly.

The windows faced directly into other rooms because of the L-shape. The bathroom window faced another room, while the bedroom window faced a completely different room. As a result, I could see into one of the other bedrooms from the bed, which was a bit strange. They changed the sheets everyday but not the towels? That made no sense to me.

The location. Was walking distance of most things. Tube close by etc.

Shower head didn’t fit on stand so had to hold it to shower. Plug socket was broken, didn’t let you plug in the head. Would have liked a kettle in room. The door was very stiff when pushing down on it. Would have liked more information on breakfast choices e.g what it consumes of. Room could have done with a useful booklet filled with things to do close by, recommend food places etc. Very noisy sleep due to traffic.
