Here is the pros of the hotel as mentioned below. I use short points to make it easy to understand my experience Pros The hotel shower was actually good I been in 5 star hotels that had crapper showers Bed was comfy and clean Room was clean Wifi was decent and working well Hotel was close to nearby tube and bus links making going anywhere dead easy Staff were helpful and polite AC was functional and working Bar downstairs and also loads of eating places in bar and nearby

I had a excellent experience with the hotel better than a lot of higher star facilities but in the interests of been fair I am nit picking to find cons Cons There was minor signs that the room needed a repaint but again the room was clean just a few mins painting in places would sort it out Minor rusting on the sink again not cleanliness but detracts from the look AC was a bit loud though not an issue for me as I normally wear earbuds I'm really picking just to find these and for a budget hotel I don't consider them problems

I liked that it is affordable, great location in London and the staff were really friendly. Was a nice area, not being from London we were unsure what it would be like but the hotel is above a nice bar that has food and drinks. Also in a short walking distance from train station, takeaways, coffee shops etc. Parking can be an issue like anywhere in London, we used the just park app and parked about a fifteen minute walk away (lots of options). When dropping our luggage off I just parked next to the hotel and put my hazard lights on for five minutes whilst I carried our bags upstairs.

There was nothing I didn’t like really, it was perfect for our short stay.

Handily placed near to Mile End tube and 25 bus route - bus stop opposite - and I felt safe as a woman travelling solo. It was surprisingly quiet, despite being a Friday night, on a main road and the pub below being busy. The lady checking me in was very welcoming. Spotlessly clean and comfy, not cramped, and everything I needed. I loved the vintage French movie posters decor. A park opposite and the canal too so some pretty bits to what I thought would be a majorly urban area. Cleaning lady again very pleasant on my leaving the next morning.

The shower attachment was damaged I think where it attached to the wall so had to hold the showerhead but a very minor issue! The bar isn't open for breakfast and there were very few cafes nearby and none that appealed, but there are supermarkets and convenience stores, and it was just one tube stop away from the fab historic E. Pellicci in Bethnal Green, which I went to - excellent coffee, a veggie fry-up and hilarious banter with the staff and regulars which started my day off so well !

You can't get a nicer place to stay for such a great price in London IMO. Also the pizzas that they do in the pub downstairs were seriously some of the best I've had! Location is great too

Not being able to open a window for ventilation was annoying, esp after 2 showers (one after the other) which made the room a bit unbearable to be in as it felt like being in a sauna.

Fantastic pub..rooms above the pub Comfortable, cosy and surprisingly quiet for sleeping despite being on Mile end road. Pizzas, bar downstairs. Friendly staff. Very close to Mile end station. Ideal spot if you are the parent of a student at Queen Mary's University Virtually on campus but a room for you to chill in before meeting up with your student! Ideal spot .Not luxurious, comfortable, welcoming, and quirky vibe..

Back door entrance needs attention. Door gets left unlocked.. We informed staff so hopefully sorted out soon .

The rooms are nice and modern with cosy touches. As they're above a bar I was expecting noise but to be honest I didn't hear anything! The doors to the rooms themselves do let noise through so just be mindful of that, but everything met expectations and really good value for money.

As mentioned, the doors to the rooms themselves aren't very well sound proofed, so you can hear other people coming and going - nothing too loud and it didn't bother me or give me any sleep issues, but if you're a very light sleeper maybe some earplugs would be recommended.

- the room and toilet were clean - shampoo and conditioner for use in the toilet - a hairdryer, two cups, an electric kettle, coffee, tea, milk and sugar in sachets are available in the room - automatic blind - air conditioning in the room - next to the bed of the cabinet, with contacts and USB input (that's why we didn't need an adapter) - clothes hangers - armchair and TV - great location - close to the metro and quick access to the city center, many restaurants nearby

the offer could add that check-in is at the bar in the building and you should go there

The location for getting to the 02 was fantastic. Two quick tube rides and we were there in 20 minutes. The station is a five minute walk from The Cherry Rooms. The 20% discount off food and drink in the bar was very welcome. The bed was really comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. The bar was our kind of vibe, great cocktails, amazing pizza and great music.

We would have appreciated the milk to have been replenished when the room was cleaned. We could have gone downstairs and asked for some but completely forgot so we didn't have a coffee before we left.
