cooked breakfast was perfect could not fault, continental poor but you did not leave hungry due to cooked breakfast. location was ok , perfect for rambling or walkers not much else about. evening food was fantastic well worth the money and a must try for anyone staying here will not be disappointed. Staff did try and accommodate every request made , they were very good.

room a little on small side but balcony made up for it a little, continental breakfast poor, coffee at breakfast not really very nice either, some staff more aware than others at breakfast, did have to ask for milk twice for cereal etc. not keen on having to book time slot for breakfast either. Pillows totally the hardest I've ever slept on, but they did issue feather pillow on request. bed also a little too firm, sleep quality not so good.

It's generally very clean, nicely furnished and friendly. The bed, pillows and linen were spotlessly clean and the mattress was very comfortable. We had an excellent sleep. There is a free car park right next door, which is very convenient. The breakfast, which is included, was great. There was a lovely ice cream parlour attached, and you could have a tapas evening meal and a drink. The bar shut at 10, so there was no late night disturbance or rowdiness. The staff were warm and welcoming. In addition, it was very conveniently located for day tripes out to Gower and Carmarthenshire. If you have young children, there is a great little playground next door that was very well used. We would stay again without hesitation.

The servicing to the rooms was a bit random. This wasn't a big issue to us, so we didn't raise it, and it could have been down to seasonal inexperienced staff. I.e. bin emptied one day but not another. Cups never cleaned, milk topped up but never the teabags or coffee. When we arrived there was a strong 'greasy' smell, but it was the chippy over the road and fortunately it blew out after the first hour or so and didn't come back. I only mention it as people shouldn't get put off...it isn't going to be a persistent issue during your stay. All in all, though these were very minor quibbles, and we'd very happily stay again and would recommend it.

Staff were very pleasant and friendly. A late checkout was arranged for us with no issue. The room and bathroom were both immaculate. Everything needed was supplied - shower gel, shampoo, hairdryer, sparkling water, hot drink facilities, plenty of sockets for chargers etc. Bed was very comfortable, bed linen and towels were all excellent quality and well presented. Highly recommended. We stayed here before a wedding at Fairy Hill the next day. Great location. After we arrived, we ate tapas in the bar, which was also excellent with great welcoming service.

The rooms were fabulous and had everything you could need. Good quality bedding, a premier inn standard mattress, a balcony, tea, coffee etc and the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Plenty of choice for breakfast, which was included in the price, and the sausage and bacon bap could have fed three people!

The only minor niggle was the sound of the music playing the ice cream parlour beneath. When you are in the parlour it's not loud but above in the rooms you can hear a dim base beat. This is a very minor thing though and it wouldn't stop me from staying again.

We stayed at the Estuary during our Welsh roadtrip and we honestly only have good things to say about it. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, with wonderful views of the estuary from the window. All facilities were great and in proper working condition. What we definitely enjoyed the most was our dinner there. The food is absolutely delicious and can easily say that it’s the best we’ve had during our whole vacation. The staff were super friendly and accommodating to all of our needs. We loved our stay, too bad it was only for one day.

The location, staff, bar, food and room were all excellent. We had a small plates (basically Tapas) when we arrived and it was promptly served and great quality and value. The breakfast was also exceptional. The bed, bathroom and facilities in the room were great and the view was outsanding.

It seems almost 'picky' but the emergency lighting power light was a bit bright at night and the location of the tea making facilities was a bit tricky! That really is all we can fault the place on, we would most definitely stay there again when in the area.

The tapas evening meal was really excellent, with a good variety dishes, very well cooked and presented. All the staff were particularly helpful and very nice. The view over the estuary from the window and balcony is lovely. There is a large free car park opposite the hotel.

Breakfast is limited to cereal, fruit, yogurt and croissants or Danish pastries. It was perfectly OK but not amazing. You had to wait until 9.00 to have breakfast in the bar area. The earliest time for breakfast was 8.00 but that was served on a tray to eat in your room. The room is adequate for sleeping and showering etc, but not big enough for a meal. The weather was fine so we were able to use the table and chairs on the balcony. The (very small) wardrobe had no space for clothes as it was full of pillows.

Lovely location overlooking the estuary, and room 5 had a balcony with table and chairs. The room was nicely decorated and spotless. Evening meal was a tapas menu with great choices and it was lovely. Breakfast in the morning was enormous and exceptional. Overall it was a great one night stay and would highly recommend.

There's nothing not to like, everything was spot on!

The location was good overlooking the estuary and the room, with a balcony was small but perfectly adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food in the bar was excellent.

The bed was very hard. I normally cope with a harder bed but was awake in the night due to this. It may have been OK for those who prefer hard beds. Apart from this we had no complaints.

Staff were really friendly, on site restaurant was great and it's excellent having a gelato place right next door. Location was perfect for walking the coastal path. The room was cute and comfy and for the money, the breakfast was just the job - not special but more than fine for us.

The room we were in was on a very noisy road, that stayed noisy all night. Nothing that really could have been done but on a hot summers evening it made sleeping difficult. Another room option maybe?
