Location a ok
It's a bit rundown a little dirty. Then we saw what the tornado did. The damage to the entire city was devastating so rethink. If you go to Selma stay here eat there buy there Every penny will help. Gods speed Selma Alabama

Very good value. Very polite and helpful staff. Donut/breakfast sandwich restaurant on site was a nice touch. Obvious effort has gone into trying to update furnishings.
Still a bit rundown, despite updates. Parking lot and area do not have the safest feel. The appearance and conduct/preferences of some of the other tenants might have made women or children feel less safe. Some bedding had obviously not been cleaned, and some was stained or torn (staff were happy to exchange it promptly—they are definitely the best assets of the facility)

outstanding refrigerator. plenty of hot water. air conditioning worked. safe and well-lit parking. staff was outstanding.
looks extremely run down. difficult to drive in when driving east bound. despite a non-smoking room I could smell cigarette smoke and so could the guy in the room next to me. dead bug on the floor. bedding was clean but had a facial tissue on it and some other “debris.”

A bed to sleep in instead of my car
Place was dirty and I was double charged for the room. Once from booking and again when I checked in. So I paid over $120 for a run down dirty hotel. But I was promised a refund that I have not received yet.
