The view was beautiful. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and cookware that we used and appreciated. The bed was comfortable, and the fireplace in the living area was a bonus.

Although candles were in the master bathroom suite, there were no batteries to be found. It would have been nice to have "quiet lights" for soaking in the tub. Better instructions on using the microwave would have been helpful. The instructions inside the door were not clear.

The staff are the best. Check-in is always a breeze and normally the condo is perfect. The showers are amazing, the beds comfortable, and there’s lots of room for guests. This is my favorite place in the world. The deck looks at the ocean, and even I. The winter, the floor to ceiling window give you the panoramic view. The kitchen is excellently stocked and I love cooking in there.

This is not normal for the property, but floors were dirty, tracked in mud, and the chaise on the sectional was broken. She told me about this when I called to check in. The chaise is my favorite seating because the rest of the sectional and chair are kind of uncomfortable. Also, there was no cable connection for live tv. I ended up watching Netflix off my account but couldn’t get that to pull up in the bedroom TV. Kind of a bummer for over $400 a night. Still, I will always go back to Otter Beach Lodge. It’s a magical place.

The curtains on the patio door don't really fit to shut out the light effectively. Some of the neighboring guests were quite loud, but not much can probably be done to remedy that situation.

This is my favorite place in the whole world. The condo is amazing, the views spectacular, they provide everything you need besides good, and even a some leftover things like seasonings and oil are in the condo for use. This is my fifth time here this year. Everybody I bring says the same thing, it’s their favorite place they’ve ever been. The showers, oh my, those glorious showers with a kagillion nozzles, so wonderful. In the summer it’s close to the boardwalk and in the winter the beach is all your own. The condo is fit for summer outings or snuggling by the fireplace in the winter. The staff is great, super friendly and accommodating. I love this place so much I would buy this condo if I could. 5++ stars.

The only thing that might be bothersome for somebody with knee or hip problems is that there are a lot of stairs.

The location offered amazing views from the end of the spit. The tri-level option was great for a large family, though the top level was warmer than the rest of the house.

The accommodations were perfect for our family. The unit is very nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable with good quality linens. 3 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths made it very easy to manage with a big family. The kitchen was fully stocked with nice dishes and utensils. Their was a killer view of the mountains and beach from almost every room. The back deck was great for relaxing. The fire ring out back was wonderful for roasting marshmallows and s’mores. I can’t say enough good things about this place. It was perfect. Highly recommend!

We loved everything!

The cabin was super clean and cute! The view was absolutely incredible. The hot tub was hot and clean. I will be sending more clients and stay there myself again!!

This is my second time staying at Otter Beach Lodges. The rentals are very private, clean, comfortable & well stocked with all the supplies you need to completely relax & enjoy your stay along beautiful Kschemak Bay!! The views are breathtaking in this part of Alaska & are a definite must see!! That much better with these rentals because you're right on the beach!! I highly recommend this place & will absolutely stay here again!!

Great location watching the boats come and go and the view of the water and mountains were worth the price

The room was perfect. Right on beach and extremely nice. My daughter ended up getting food poisoning from a local restaurant, we were fishing the next day and she just couldn’t go. We asked them if she could stay a bit longer than normal check out, and they absolutely had no problem helping us out. Super super appreciated.

Arrived a bit late and had to have them re-send code for auto lock, but other than than, nothing else to not like.
