Room was very clean, nice beds, it was updated, nice full size fridge, owners pleasant and helpful tips. Laundry room was clean and new. Above what I expected for 2 star hotel

This was a good no-frills motel. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The manager was very nice and she allowed a late check-out without any hassle. The location within Palmer was good - close to shops and restaurants.

We had expected there to be a stovetop because the word "kitchenette" was used in the description. It only has a microwave and refrigerator - all other places we've stayed at only mentioned kitchenette if they also had a stovetop. The description should be updated to remove that word as it can be misleading.

Linda and staff are so friendly and caring! I love that this place is dog friendly and provides a doggy area with a cleanup station in case you forgot your own poop bags. Staff keep rooms very clean and it has basic amenities that make it comfortable. Great central location! I would stay here again.

Walls are thin, so do expect to hear your neighbors. And if your window is open and your neighbor is smoking, be prepared to smell it in your room. Also, you can't lower the temperature in your room by the thermostat, gotta open your window for that.

The management and staff were super courteous and helpful! Upon check in, they gave us recommendations on sites to see and great places to eat during our stay which saved us lots of time from looking ourselves. The rooms were very clean and included a small kitchen area which was nice. We will definitely recommend this place to family and friends and will stay again the next time we visit Alaska!

I Loved the Pioneer Motel as it was a single story motor Lodge place where you can park right in front of your unit and walk right in. I like that nostalgic feeling of days gone by. the property was super clean and quiet. The Manager is a lovely lady and was very helpful in helping us decide where to have some meals in Palmer. If I ever come back through town I will definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable, spacious room with large kitchen, dining area! Loved it. Manager (Linda?) Was a very friendly, helpful person. She offered us extra plates, utensils that we needed and made our stay very pleasant. Awesome price for a comfortable stay!

Very unassuming motel in a busy location just off the Gleen Highway, but super clean, comfortable beds, great hot shower, and friendly staff

A quiet time could be instituted as our neighboring room occupants were quite noisy until MN and up early at 0600 also. They had a baby which is NO problem, but their voices were quite loud for that time of the night and am

The staff is very friendly and suggested different things to see and places to go, the check in was quick and efficient. The room is big, new, equipped with all the essential (cutlery, coffee, fridge, big sink, tea towels and towels in the little kitchen shampoo/soap/shower gel and even make up remover in the bathroom), the bed is big and comfortable. Great WiFi connection.

Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and made check in a breeze. Rooms were clean, comfortable and well appointed.

The only thing which might be of benefit is additional blinds on the windows, just given how late the sun is up in Alaska, but the curtains currently there were pretty good and overall it wasn’t an issue.
