We loved having a full sized fridge, all the basic cooking utensiles we needed, and a very comfortable living area. The Resort is old but that add to the charm of the place. It reminded me of being on a road trip with my parents when I was little. In spite of being dated, our cabin was very clean and enjoyable. We were there for hiking and photography so didn't appreciate the convenience to the lake, but there was plenty of room to park your boat trailer if you had one.

We had a little issue with the air conditioner -- we didn't need it and it was still quite cool at night, but we couldn't figure out how to turn it off. Fortunately there was an extra blanket!

The location is great, in the middle of a beautiful national park. The location of the hotel itself is nothing all that special, but no problems. The duck pond is nice. It is pet friendly. The staff were friendly.

Check in time is early. The office was closed, but they took care of me. It takes a fair amount of time getting in and out. The map in booking.com didn't have any scale to it, and it was surprisingly far from central Phoenix, about an hour's drive. It was a pretty drive, though. The restaurant on site was not open a lot, and I had to drive to get food.

Okay old-time motel setup --- but, with their renovation bringing in new furniture, beds, TV's and okay bathrooms, my stay was pleasant...plus, the rear setting of sunsets over a catch & release pond, very nice!!!...PJS Gotta say, the manager of the bar & grill next door, Lonnie, did me a tremendous favor; and, the burger & fries was excellent!!! Thank U Lonnie...PJS

We stay here often; it is close to the lake and provides for a comfortable stay for family and friends. We love the great service from the Stagecoach Restaurant and Bar just next door, Segan, the owner goes above and beyond to make sure everything is handled.

Some of the guests could not link to the internet unless they were outside close to the office, maybe need WIFI boosters.

It was a great property

Wifi did not work in room at all had to go outside to text family, did not have service so had to text on wifi. First night there next door had a dog and they left that dog did not stop barking until they got back hours later there was no clear idea what we should do, i know this is the owners fault not really property but it was at night early hours but still was hours of barking.

Location. Close to Roosevelt Lake. Setting was quiet and peaceful. Will stay here again. Glad the restaurant was open. Not many options for eating.

The grounds could use a little more upkeep. Flowers or some other landscaping. Looks like improvements are being made.

Room was clean and very large. Great view in back. Had my Mastiff with me, and there was lots of outdoor space for her to do her business. Very friendly bar and grill next door with delicious burger.

it’s located by relatives I was visiting. clean, updated, great price.

one of the locks didn’t work. our hairdryer was broken and the office is only staffed for a couple of hours so wasn’t able to get a replacement.

It was clean and comfortable. Working the TV remote was a challenge. We would recommend the place and we may stay again.

The little refrigerator lacked a freezer compartment.

Staff is always willing to meet my needs and they are very friendly.

The restaurant that is next door has very poor service and the food is terrible.
