I enjoyed that the hotel had a funky vibe, some beautiful murals to look at, and all the rooms had different art artwork in them. There was a wonderful game room that we could all gather and play games, they had a night of music that came in, which was really fun. Outside was a beautiful pool with a fire pit and some outdoor games. The staff was really nice and accommodating. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms had a nice set up. The breakfast was convenient. The oatmeal wasn’t my favorite but there was fruit and tea that worked for me. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you
The oatmeal wasn’t very flavorful.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel McCoy! We enjoyed the welcome drink token (I got an IPA, he got a non alcoholic option) and the huge selection of games. The saltwater pool was refreshing and all the different art around the property was beautiful. Our room was comfortable. No frills, but had everything we needed - clean, AC, mini fridge, and a fun chalkboard wall on the door :) The hotel is in close proximity to many places of interest, including a container park shopping/restaurant area that we checked out, as well as local hiking trails, which we explored the morning of our departure. The complimentary oatmeal bar was a nice touch and helped fill our bellies before our drive back home to San Diego. Overall, definitely recommend and would stay again!

Cute property with really cool art. Full of instagrammable opportunities. Staff was amazing and I was able to check in at around 9:30pm without a problem. Had fun playing cornhole with a drink from their bar which was open late.
I think the only thing that was lacking was the breakfast. Granted, the basic oatmeal is free, so I get why it wasn’t anything exciting. But they also charged for a lackluster breakfast sandwich but didn’t tell me that until I was near the end of the oatmeal toppings section and told me I needed to pay. Lastly, I burnt myself trying to grab both the sandwich and hot oatmeal cup from their display case.

Friendly check-in and staff. The welcome drink is a nice touch. The beds are really cofortable with some of THE best hotel pillows going. The art everywhere is very cool to peruse and each room features its own artist on display. No warehouse decorations here! Good location for downtown and the heart of Tucson. Oh, and don't forget the oatmeal bar!
The air conditioner is loud even on low fan setting. Really loud. Also, the blackout curtains don't black out much since they don't fit the window well. There is a nice, giant TV that has a crazy bright power light that could be covered or turned off. Basically, the room was way to bright and tha A/C too loud for a really comfortable sleep.

My most favorite hotel ever! So cute, love the art, vintage memorabilia, and the whole vibe. We had 2 young kids and this property was very child friendly. We felt very comfortable being here and felt like “family”. They had a band at the pool. It was better than a big box hotel because of the small, family feel. Neighbors were chatting with other neighbors. Guests at the pool were being friendly and chatting with each other. You don’t see that anymore. The on ball room was a fun surprise, as was the free cocktail at check in, and the oatmeal bar. You’d think oatmeal is boring…but not here. They offered all sorts of fun toppings like coconut, chia, chocolate chips, craisins. It was even served in a cute polka dot cup. Love this place and will not stay anywhere else in Tucson! 💚🩷💜

This place was unique, comfy, clean, and fun. Every room has cool art and even the outside walls have amazing murals and interesting quotes. Hotel McCoy was super clean with a comfortable bed (I am picky!), and had everything I needed. Even a delicious (and inexpensive) grilled cheese and a free beer for my dinner. I was so happy to not have to go out for a meal after hiking all afternoon. The owner is really cool, interesting to talk to, and even learned my name! Who does that at chain hotels?! This place is perfect for those of us traveling on a budget but still wanting a clean, safe, place to stay with a personality. I am an adventurous senior female traveling alone, and this was a perfect stay. I felt part of this little "community" and loved the little bar and the included breakfast. I highly recommend to singles, couples, and families (tons of stuff to do for the kids) who prefer a different kind of stay and do not require luxury or the fuss of a chain hotel. The experience overall was far above my expectations.
Really, I can't say there was one thing I didn't like.

Loved this hotel. The property had murals from local artists around the hotel. Just a real laid back vibe. Seating outside each hotel room. Room had books to read. And artwork that you could purchase. We were offered complimentary drinks on arrival. Parking right outside your door. Room was clean and comfortable. Very eclectic. There was an outdoor area away from pool to relax. Had a telescope for star gazing. Lounge had a common area to hang out. There was a calendar of events that was being held at the hotel.
Oatmeal bar very basic.

We loved all the art work around us, and in our room. The bed was comfortable, check in was easy, and it was quiet during our stay. They have a really nice lobby that has a bar in the evening and music. There's a large table where you can eat at, play games or cards or whatever you like. The bartender was super friendly as were the other staff members we spoke to. In the mornings the bar is set up with breakfast. When we were there they had oatmeal with lots of toppings available and bread for toast, coffee and tea.

The pool area is awesome. Love love the lobby space with delicious oatmeal bar and wine for sale. Looking out at the artwork along the walls was a wonderful way to start the day. Would want to come back on a night they have live music!
The room itself. Needed a sturdy night stand between the beds to charge phones. But instead had a metal outdoor side table that wobbled, tipping over water bottles. Temp of the room was hard to maintain as the sun starting beaming down on our room in the afternoon. Really needed a few more lights & a microwave as well.

I love the vibe of this property! Super cute, retro. Very easy to access and great for a one night stay. Everything was really nice and the staff was friendly!
Arizona is insanely hot … and the AC unit was not the best at cooling down the place so our sleep wasn’t the best. But it wasn’t awful! Something that I would have appreciated is if the hotel staff would have started the AC a bit before we arrived .. would have made walking into the room amazing - rather than walking into a sauna and not being able to really cool the place down. But I would stop by again !!! This is just a small issue, and the rest of the place more than made up for it :)
