Clementine Hotel Anaheim was either walking distance to places I needed to go to or a short ART shuttle ride away. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. The free breakfast spread exceeded my expectations as I’m more accustomed to just continental breakfast like most spots. The staff is what puts this place on a must return visit basis. Everyone from front desk to grounds workers were friendly and greeted me with a smile. Made me feel welcomed and some even sparked up a conversation. I mostly interacted with Front Desk employee Angel. He would often greet me with a “How’s your day going or anything we can do to make your stay better” that’s awesome service.

Can’t think of anything.

Close proximity to Disneyland, restaurants, and shopping areas. Also, there's a bus that picks up in the hotels vicinity. Very convenient.

Lacking of kitchen supplies, extra toilet papers. We had to put in a request for housekeeping to bring some extra. Also, since housekeeping does not go into the suites anymore, there are no instructions on where to throw accumulated garbage.

The room was big and spacious. The kitchen was large with full-size appliances. There was lots of closet space in our room with lots of shelves and places to hang clothes. There was a fireplace in our room. There is a playground, basketball/ tennis court and nice pool. They have a grill area and an on-site laundry room. It feels more like an apartment complex than a hotel.

The tv channel options for kids are limited, especially for younger kids. I wish they had Disney Jr. or Nick Jr. We could never find parking near our room. We had to park on the opposite side of the hotel and walk through the property. If your room is near the front desk, parking can be very limited. Parking is free, though, and there is more in the back of the property and on the side. Our room was facing the street and it was quiet noisy. There seemed to always be an ambulance or firetruck passing by at all hours of the day. There were many busses and shuttles that passed by and were quite loud. One morning, my family was woken up around 5am by extremely loud music coming from the street. I did not know where it came from, it was not from a car as it went on for over 20 min.

I loved the location! Staff was very friendly, place and site were very clean. My kids enjoyed the children’s library and activity room. I loved how large the rooms are for families and that the fridges freezer had a working ice machine for our water bottles. The food for their breakfast was great too.

I thought the property could provide for the rooms with kitchens some dish soap or extra trash bags. I didn’t like that two of the days we were there the kitchen closed up the breakfast, starting pulling all the food and stopped serving before the times hours it says the property overs breakfast. Then you would see all the staff eating breakfast on the side but it was closed before the actual allotted time for guests. I also wish that the laundry would stay available 24/7 because families are usually at the park and by the time we’re back in the room the laundry room was closed and it didn’t open early enough to use it before families want to go the the park.

The location is perfect - a quick walk to restaurants and of course close by to Disneyland! We used the lose cost local bus to get there, guided by staff. Great breakfast range. We used the laundry facilities, the tennis courts, we didn’t use the pools but only because of the cold weather (other guests did!) Staff were quiet and friendly. We accidentally left behind valuables in our in-room security box. When we realised (and were 5 hrs flight away!) we rang the staff and they had already found it and stored it securely at their management security box to keep it safe for us. They coordinated with us and FedEx to get it back to us and were a dream to work with!! The room was a great size for a family needing space (2 x tweens, 1 little one and 2 parents). Would definitely recommend staying here!!

Nothing!!

The unit was clean and comfortable and had nice decor and furniture. The kitchen was missing a lot of items we needed for preparing meals, cooking and cleaning up with. We asked at the front desk for some cleaning items and they provided them for us. The bathrooms had plenty of towels and toiletries. The beds were comfortable and the and room was a good size. Our group enjoyed the breakfast but the quality was not always great. One member didn't feel good after eating and remained hesitant to eat the remaing visit. The hotel was accommodating in letting us store and charge the rental scooter, The pool and hot tub was enjoyable. There was a nice sitting and BBQ area. The location to the entrance of Disneyland was close and there were nearby restuarants to choose from to eat. Overall we enjoyed our stay and really liked the fact that we could share a unit with grandparents and family of 4 comfortably. Walk to Disneyland easily.

If we had cooked more meals in the room we didn't have enough kitchen amenities. The breakfast was okay, with adequate variety, but quality not very good.

I chose Clementine out of all good neighbor hotels to Disney as I felt it was best value. I think it’s a perfect middle ground hotel. It’s not super fancy but it’s not run down either. Breakfast is included and they offer different things daily. You don’t pay for parking, that was the major deal breaker for me because when you’re already paying for an expensive vacation tacking on parking every night is a no go in my book. Almost all good neighbor hotels charge parking. I stayed in a second floor room as the street and pedestrian sounds were more muffled, highly recommend. Location is perfect. It’s down the street from the Disney Toy Story parking lot. A tip if you’re traveling to Disneyland and stay here, don’t drive and pay for parking at Disney just walk to the Toy Story Parking lot down the street. It’s open for everyone not just for folks who park there. You will get pre-checked and skip a long line the general public has to go through.

I went with my boyfriend and we wanted to use the pool but it was always busy and it was a smaller area. Something to consider if you are a couple that would prefer more privacy. My room had a fan that made a really annoying sound and unfortunately the fan was not optional it was mandatory when you turned the light on. The hotel has a fire station nearby this can be a pro in an emergency but a con the morning when I tried to sleep in. It doesn’t go off in the night time though only during the day.

The location was awesome we walked to and from Disney everyday. We loved the late night pool. Got some laundry done while the kids played in the pool. Absolutely loved the breakfast. It was pretty busy but came in waves. Mario in the kitchen staff was very cheerful and made my morning every morning. We used the playroom for our 1yr old and she loved it. Our older kids used the basketball court. Of course dad loved using the BBQs. Overall this was a great stay. The rooms were comfy and they had baby gates at the front desk.

The stairs lol. We got the loft suit which are only upstairs. With a wheel chair and a stroller that was kind of annoying. Wish they had bigger rooms downstairs.

The breakfast staff is amazing and so friendly. There is a bus stop right at the hotel that will take you directly to the park.

We killed 2 spiders in the room. There were little gnats in the room when we got there. They were a pain to try to get rid of. Also, there is housekeeping services every 3 days. When they came to our room, all they did was replenish the towels which the office says you can request any time. I called the office to request an extra pillow, blanket and towels but when I stopped by after the park the next day, they had no record of our request. He did give us the blanket and pillow on the spot.
