wow, this place was such a good find! excellent accommodations and stunning views from probably most rooms, and from all common areas. wish we had spent more time here - one night is not enough! we especially enjoyed the robes provided in the rooms, the lovely large shower (the personal care products smell amazing), the clean and up to date gym facility, the sauna, and the Adirondack chairs with fire pit!

we wish there were some adult-only hours at the pool. we arrived ready to have a beverage and relax in the hot tub after several nights camping and some long drives, but the pool was chaotic with lots of kids yelling and playing. fun for them! but wish there were quiet pool hours of some sort.

My wife and I stayed at the Lodge at Bodega Bay for a weekend in Feb 2023. Everything about our experience was wonderful. Employees were kind and helpful. The grounds and views were beautiful (loved watching sunsets while sitting around the fire pit). Room / facilities were clean and nice (great bath robes in the room). Easy access (~10 minute drive) to stunning Bodega Bay hikes. Highly recommend for a weekend get away.

There is a fog horn at night that you can hear from the rooms. May be an issue if you're a light sleeper.

Beautiful setting…….love the coast.

we were there 2 nights, 1 day. During the day, construction next door…banging and sawing…….not restful at all…..stopped around 4pm. issues with TV remote, froze up, night person couldn’t fix, after 3 visits to room, TV was ultimately disconnected from power altogether in order to turn off. next day maintenance called to fix TV, replaced remote…worked fine…..for a few hours.. Staff was responsive, TV service subscribed to is sub-standard and should be replaced with a premium service.

The property is super beautiful. Just having the view of the Bay from our room made this stay worth it. The rooms are a bit more on the classic style but very cozy! Loved having a heated pool and jacuzzi!

The price for the overall experience is a lot. I’m not sure if in some ways they were short staffed but getting room service/ towels at the pool/ etc was a bit of a challenge. I also did not love the dining options at the hotel. Very overpriced and found multiple hairs in our bread bowl! Overall I did enjoy my stay even with some minor things that I believe can be improved on.

The property is well located, for extraordinary views of the bay. The well designed placement of structures and landscaping provided natural ambiance in tune with this exquisite coastal region. Our bed was very comfortable (a must for any leisure stay) and our room was spotless. The spa area with pool and hot tub was restful and restorative, and the dinner at Drakes absolutely delicious. The friendly and informative staff members were each and ALL absolutely delightful to converse with and they made our experience extra special.

I've stayed here many times, and it never disappoints. The rooms are large and comfortable, the views are beautiful and peaceful, and the spa is a pleasure, especially after bicycling 35 miles with a heavy touring load.

The food in the restaurant is a bit subpar for such an expensive place. Both dinner and breakfast are good roadside-diner quality. Acceptable but not memorable. It has always been this way, so it wasn't just this stay. If we had a car instead of bicycles, we would have driven back into Bodega Bay to eat.

The room was very nice - large, with a view of the bay. Dinner was excellent but we had to use room service as the restaurant was fully booked and the lounge was also full when we wanted to eat. the food was excellent but we asked for extra plates but they didn't provide them. It was quiet and restful and the facility was very nice.

Ablity to make reservations in the lounge since the restaurant was so small. The Patio/balcony was very small and needed sweeping. Tried to sit on the patio to relax but the bees came immediately so had to give up on that.

The view was spectacular. Deck was over looking the estuary and bay. (Doran Beach) When we arrived there wasn’t a fridge and asked for a free standing light we could put by chairs. We dialed “zero”, as we were instructed at the front desk, and minutes later we had a delivery. Later in our stay, we dialed “zero” for more fire logs and water. Very attentive property❤️

I loved the beach bikes and the spa and yoga in the morning

Its a bit pricey and the food options are lavk luster..not enough alternative options to seafood and as someone who's allergic I had to leave the area to eat..they 9nly offered a steak dish that didn't look to appetizing and a burger....
