Hello. I hope you're doing well. Last week on 9/18/24 I had booked a room for $113.36 but later canceled. I was told that i would get a refund. I also received an email stating my refund..... However; I still haven't received it. Also; Last week, on 9/26/24, I booked (PAID FOR) a room for $118.81, plus $100 extra upon arrival; Which was supposed to be just a "Hold"... I also haven't received that yet. I believe Studio Inn & Suites at Promenade, Downey now owes me a Total of $213.36 as of NOW (Sunday, 9/29/24 6:58PM) I'll be checking in with within a few days. Thank you for your time

I didn't like the fact that they still OWE ME $$$ from the Refund & also the $100 Deposit that was supposed to be returned to me. The room was perfect (except the Bed, Because I slept on it)

For the price you get great value for this location. I just used it as a stop for an event that was a little out the way for me. Close to the 105, so it made it easy to get around. Room was pretty clean and modernized. Everything was nice and neat and in order.

The few things I didn't like were minor. The AC/heater unit was dusty. It only really needs to get vacuumed. On one of the towels provided, I found a hair that wasn't mine. I disposed of it, no big deal. And the shower! That was tricky. The switch is the mouth of the faucet, you pull down on it to get to water going to the showerhead. I had to YouTube it.

We lived in room 204, on the second floor overlooking the courtyard with parking and swimming pool. There were no problems with parking There are all the amenities to spend the night (a large bed, 4 pillows, a blanket, a refrigerator, a microwave, a hair dryer, soap), the room was cleaned every day. We liked the area by itself, there are a lot of cafes and shops.

We need to clean the air conditioner, it's scary to watch.The shower gel and shampoo dispensers didn't work in the shower (but I take my cosmetics, so it didn't upset me much).

The bed was really comfortable and the room for the most part was clean and nice.

The towels we had in the room were somewhat dirty and the room in general was nice but the expectation of the room verses what we seen online wasn't matching but overall it was still nice. And also the lights in the room were flickering alot which was kind of annoying mostly used the bathroom mirror light for light support due to the other lights glitching.

I loved the location. Walking distance to the movies, park, gym, and restaurants and clothing stores. I loved how calm and relaxing the check in lobby felt. The people who were staying in that night were also very nice and welcoming. I also loved how clean the rooms were! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the staff were very kind to give my family and I more pillows and blankets by request. We had a really great experience

I would say the only downfall was the shower and the television. As I was showering I wanted to use the shower gel and shampoo but they weren't restocked. Thankfully I brought my own stuff or else I would of been pretty upset. Also my mom and I turned on the television but it said no signal... We didn't want to go to the check in lobby so we just watched through our phones.. it wasn't a big deal to us but it would of been nice to watch some TV. Also there was a man yelling around 1am. I was scared. There was a commotion going on outside and thankful it stopped but I was on high alert... Besides that everything else was great

I love that there was a large shopping center nearby with restaurants and a theater.

The refrigerator does not have a freezer, but it did freeze some items even with a lower level. There is no coffee machine in the room, but the hotel lobby provides daily coffee. The microwave did not work well in my room either.

Cleanliness

Room 215 a lot of noise next to the stairs people that I don’t they are guests come to smoke and they talk and laugh loud. I have had that room twice that makes not wanting to come back.

The blankets were nice and soft. The room was spacious. The lighting in the room was perfect. The color clash in the room made me feel really at home. The pool was nice and the other guests there were friendly and nice to one another. The area had a lot of places for me to eat at.

Location is close to my family and there are several amenities (frwy, shopping, churches,, restaurants) around the area. Staff is friendly and helpful

The traffic noise from the two streets that surround this hotel is very loud

very clean property and rooms , good water pressure , rooms are spacious

the only down fall, is the reception. the reception sucks even with their wifi connected, I have Verizon and I only got one bar. also if you do stay on a weekend they tend to be busy and all booked up, so parking space is hard, I had to stay out 30 minutes until someone moved at 3 in the morning
