Clean room and the big jacuzzi tub. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was quiet and they offered free breakfast. Plus free parking which was a win for me and my fiancé. It’s also located close to everything. Downtown LA takes about 20 minutes if their is no traffic (good luck with that lol) the airport 13 minutes away shopping centers like target dollar general Ross etc all in the area. Also donut king which has the best donuts I’ve ever ate in my life!

The shower head points down. So it was difficult for me to take a shower without the possibility of getting my hair wet. So I opted to take a bath which I never take baths always showers. The location was a bit sketchy but nobody bothered us or our car. The lot was full of people who were staying at the hotel. I’m from out of town. So maybe the area isn’t the worse but I couldn’t distinguish

Everything was pleasant and it was very family friendly, there was cocoa in the lobby for the kiddos, and enough nearby restaurants to get through the weekend. We enjoyed our stay!

There is nothing to complain about. However, our deposit is still being held by our bank which is an unusual coincidence seeing as how we checked out over 10 days ago. The policy is 7-10 business days so I'm not sure why the excessive hold when we accrued no additional incidentals. I'd suggest using a credit card instead of a debit card for that reason only. This could've been avoided at check in had I used separate cards to guarantee the reservation and the deposit but otherwise it was pleasant.

Second times using this best western and it is the only place I look to book when I come to the Los Angeles area.

The way the shower was made with a glass wall blocking half the shower and the shower head coming down from the ceiling. Some people do not wish to get their hair wet and do not travel with shower caps because usually showers are at a normal angle and level. I am tall but my partner is short I was able to angle the water so she could use it without wetting her hair. However because the shower had half glass water was all over the floor every time the shower was used. I remedied by putting several towels on the floor but it is a definite slipping hazard. You might reconsider that particular type of shower arrangement.

Great hotel that was huge inside with comfy beds and a very nice room. We stayed here going to Disney and then exploring the city and it definitely worked great for both, while not in the best part of town parking was easy and I would definitely stay again.

They were encountering issues with people smoking in the room..It is California, and LA, but they had a strict no smoking policy and were trying to fight it but people kept smoking weed in the rooms and it would smell into the hallways. Honestly not too big of an issue tho and they are definitely working hard to correct it. Didn't really bother us that much at all

The facilities were great, we were happy with everything, room services, lunch room. etc.

Our room location, #420, faced Western Avenue which we didn't know at the time is a busy thoroughfare at night and we could hear every single vehicle and motorcycle motoring down Western. You need double-pane windows to soundproof the room from the outside street noises. That was the only issue we had with the room.

The spaciousness of our room! We reserved a King room with two king beds, which is a rarity among hotel rooms. It was perfect for my husband in one bed and our two children in other bed. The beds were excellent, plush-firm kind and very comfortable to sleep on. So easy to stay in bed and hard to get out, literally! Since this hotel was built in 2016, everything looks fairly brand-new and updated with modern "do-not-disturb" system features (i.e. push button inside your room to let housekeeping yes (white light) to enter or not ready (red light) and the housekeeping staff will see the light feature outside of room. No more floppy doorknob placards!!!) The hotel location is perfect -- easy getting to places and freeways. Yes, this hotel is in 'da hood, but hey, it's all good in the 'hood for a reasonable price and it's clean! More bang for your bucks. I also liked their security feature on the elevator -- nobody can't go up to any floor unless they have their own hotel cards. Breakfast room is very spacious and modern. Nice layout for people to eat. Workout room is well lit (has window). Other thing, if you were to smoke/vape/take a puff, or make stains of any kind on their linens, don't bother coming to this hotel as you will be fined hefty fees! Their housekeeping staff are super friendly but they will tell on you. Don't forget to pay them heartily in tips! Our housekeeping service requests were met at lighting speed and we were really impressed, as opposed to slow turnaround time at big wig hotels! Again, tip your housekeeping staff WELL!!!

The pool is a bit sad looking as it is visible by side street. As long as it's fenced it is okay. We didn't use the pool tho as we went to Manhattan Beach which was the closest to the hotel (6.9 miles away. Worth the view!!! Check it out. The breakfast meals were meh, but that's to be expected in standard two-and-half to three star hotels. FYI, you CANNOT bring food to your room or housekeeping staff will telltale on you and you will be fined. They do have signs posted in their breakfast rooms. For real -- it is their policy!

The breakfast was very excellent and plentiful and was consistently restocked throughout its duration (from 7am to 10am). With that in mind, their coffee machine was awesome to have as well, especially with how readily available it was. The reception was stellar and was always patient and willing to help their guests out. One of the receptionists noticed I forgot to bring my bag with me to my room, and kept it safe when I needed it; another receptionist printed me a photo of Pikachu, so an instant 4.9 star on this hotel. The cleaners were also amazing for being consistent in ensuring that the room felt new every time we returned to it after a long day, especially since my friends and I forgot to bring our towels with us, so having towels replaced every night before showering is awesome.

The shower was a bit strange, because one side of the shower has no type of cover, so water easily spilled over on that open side; additionally, the shower head aims directly down from the ceiling, meaning I have no control over the showerhead. Another dislike was that the latte machine broke down on my friends, so we returned to our room sad. Lastly, the gym was great and all, but I saw people constantly near the strength machine, so my friends and I never had the opportunity to really become powerful.

New and modern hotel, very large and clean rooms, delicious breakfast and super friendly staff! We felt safe and welcome at all times. The free parking and 24 hour coffee & tea in the lobby were great as well. Although close to LAX, surprisingly didn’t hear any planes :)

At first, I was afraid that the area might not be so good because of the proximity to Inglewood and Compton, but Gardena is quite modern with lots of stores, food options and accommodations and we felt safe there! From the hotel side, all was excellent, no negatives :)

Very comfortable stay here. I traveled solo for a trip and I still felt super safe as a solo female at this facility. Key cards are required to use the elevator so I liked that a lot. Breakfast was decent. Glad they had a filtered water fountain here so I could get water instead of needing to worry about buying water. LOTS of layers on the bed and I found that to be super comfortable. Loved it a lot. There was a tablet to order from their room service options. Even though the tablet I used wasn't properly working, I still liked the idea! I did order room service, in which I actually never got though as their kitchen was actually down and they were fixing so they called and refunded me promptly, and even gave some other food recommendations!

Like others have said, the half exposed shower does splash a lot of water out. I had to lay an extra towel out while I showered so I could reduce the amount of water that leaked out, even when I tried to stay as close to the glass panel. I also was personally not a fan of how the bathroom door isn't able to stay open. I may have missed if there was something to prop it open, but it was heavy and automatically closed, which was inconvenient when I was getting ready and had to keep re-opening the door every time I went in and out of the bathroom.

this is our second time staying here. a couple years apart. i loved that this is the only hotel to ever have 2 king sized beds plus one sofa bed in a room. rooms are clean,bed is firm just the way i like it. breakfast was pretty good lots of food choices. the hotel and rooms are nice and clean looking,new and modern interiors. feels safe. bathrooms are nice and clean with nice free toiletries. also we love the location as the next few blocks are lots of very good asian restaurants and also theres a pharmacy open 24hrs near. very good value for the money! i defenitly recommend and would stay again!
