The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was excellent. Downtown Lafayette is so cute with lots of great shots and restaurants, and is so easily accessible from the hotel, as is Lafayette, Reservoir, and BART. The pool was well heated for a winter stay.

The pool seating area is rather small. It was just fine for a winter day, as there were not many others using the space, but in warmer months, it can get very full and be hard to find a spot..

Beds and pillows were wonderful. So comfortable - so important. Room was clean. So was the hotel over all.

Nothing really, I totally recommend. We didn’t see the pool or spa and the restaurant was good, so was the food, our waitress was great but they were under staffed and so service was slow but not really a big deal, just mentioning.

Beautiful property with a unique feel. Pool and hottub area was charming although there was some road noise. Our deluxe 2 queen room had lofted ceilings on the 4th floor which was an added bonus. Really pretty lobby - can sit and enjoy fireplace and buy wine/bottled cocktails/snacks at reception desk.

Our room was facing west and there is a dog boarding there. Woke up to quiet but still audible sounds and throughout day of dogs barking or whining. Ask for a room NOT facing this direction and you will be happy.

The location was great and everything from cleanliness to staff was fantastic. We only stayed one night (quick wedding trip) and our only disappointment was that we didn’t book an extra night .

Honestly, parking cost. It seems like a frivolous thing to charge overnight guests for. Just an easy way to gouge people.

From the moment I entered the hotel, it was a lovely experience. Front desk was professional, warm, and friendly. I had requested a quiet room and actually had a quiet room. They offered freshening service mid-stay to take out trash and refill coffee and complimentary water. Check out was easy, too.

The bathroom was very nice. One thing that would have been nice is to have a hand-held shower attachment, but that's just a personal preference.

Beautiful property with spacious rooms and a very relaxing pool area. A little outdated but very charming and clean. We had breakfast in our room, the food was good. Staff was very friendly. The property has so much potential, if they updated it a little, it could be luxurious.

The hotel is beautiful. The building itself is old and gorgeous. The pool area makes you feel like you are in another world. The spa treatment I got was amazing

Great ambience here. The pool courtyard was pretty. Rooms felt spacious.

The pool was low and was being refilled during our stay. The attached restaurant was okay. We did find a spider in our room. We saw many room service food plates outside of the room.

The king suite with a fireplace was very nice - and the hotel sent up a bottle of champagne for our anniversary, very sweet.

I would like to be able to use the fireplace in the room. When we stay in Half Moon Bay, there are working fireplaces in the rooms.

Very central location to downtown Lafayette

If you are arriving on Sunday you better arrive by 8:00PM or you won’t be able to eat dinner or have drinks.
