Very close to commerce. Just off the Hwy. Room had everything I needed including microwave, minifridge, soap/shampoos; Ice machine was a plus. Very nice young man at check-in. For the price, this place was just as expected and more than fine!

The highway is very close to the rooms, so I could hear semi-trucks. However, it was easy enough to turn on the continuous fan to dull the noise. It's not a dealbreaker for me to stay here, but it's something to be aware of. The parking lot was a bit too tight for my truck with all the other cars, so I parked around the corner.

The location was perfect for my trip. It was easily accessible, and I found everything I needed close by.

The first thing I didn’t like, and this was not totally the motel’s fault, was the parking lot. The parking was tight. There was a large truck parked next to me and I had to work pretty hard to get out of the spot in front of my room. Without the large truck being there, it was a tight squeeze too. The second thing I didn’t like was how loud the heater was. It actually woke me up a couple of times.

Driving from Reno to Vegas so stopped in Lone Pine on the way down. The motel was perfect for my overnight stop. On the way back from Vegas to Reno, I booked the hotel again for another night and took some time to explore Lone Pine area. The motel is within walking distance to all the shops in the town and there are restaurants and bars close by. The motel staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and equipped with fridge and coffee maker - coffee provided. Good wifi and free parking outside. If I was considering walking in the hills nearby I would stay a few days quite happily.

Room included fridge and microwave. Bathroom counter was huge, so great for extra space to prepare snacks and such. Room was quiet considering location. We stayed at another motel on our return side of our trip and the sound of the trailers kept waking us up.

Lighting can definitely use an upgrade. Was still very dark in the room even with lights on.

Located right in Lone Pine. We only stayed there for pretty much a few hours since we had to wake up at midnight to get ready for our Whitney hike. Couldn't sleep much due to the excitement and partially due to the noise from the inroom AC. Overall, the hotel is clean and the bed is comfortable, serves our needs for a short stay. We would definitely stay here again if we are in Lone Pine and will surely recommend this hotel to our friends.

Room was spacious and comfortable enough. The room and bathroom were spotless. The place was easy to find.

Sink and counter outside the bathroom is not ideal when you need privacy from the person you travel with. Lots of light pollution at night from all the neon signs. Most chairs around the pool were broken and/or dirty. Parking lot is very tight, I can't imagine having to navigate through it when full.

Good stopover location for hikers or people passing by. Pool is nice after a long hot day. Reception was friendly and nice. Easy check-in and check-out. Nice and cosy ground floor room. 2 wifi options.

air conditioning unit was very loud, needed ear plugs to sleep at night. difficult to control the water temperature in the shower. curtains not sufficient to provide privacy.

Overall, it was exceeded my expectations. It was roomy, clean, and much nicer than your average motel. The man who checked me in was very nice. No issues with anything :)

The only thing I can think of is that shower curtain should be replaced, it had a bit of mold on it. Nothing major!

I chose this hotel as an affordable two night stay around a weekend Mount Whitney summit. I always prefer to support the locals when I can. We arrived early, got an early checkin, no problem. AC worked great and it was 100 degrees outside. Bed was very comfy, got two great nights' sleep. Great location, easy drive up to the Whitney portal and close enough to walk to restaurants, etc in town. Had a fridge, microwave, TV, hair dryer in room.

Hotel is older and could use some updates. Although it had a coffee pot in the room, I tried to make a quick pot in the morning using the coffee, creamer, and sweetener that was provided, and it wasn't good. And I'm not a coffee snob. Also the single use toiletries like lotion, shampoo, conditioner, etc. (which we also tried to use) seemed really old.

With this quaint motel you step back in time but from the moment we walked in to register till we left all was great. The family/staff were so friendly and helpful. We could walk to two or three restaurants or grocery. Entrance o Death Valley was just down the road. All in all a great place to stay.
