Great location, excellent presentation, nice touches in the rooms and throughout the hotel

The pool and rooftop restaurant and bar are advertised as part of the hotel but guests need to go out of the building, round to the side external entrance and use the external customer lift to the rooftop. There is no priority treatment for hotel guests in the bar/restaurant. Theres also a nightclub on the roof from 11pm

Location and the fact that the property is new

- parking is challenging around the area - pool is sometimes not available as they have to set up for parties and only a handful of beds are available for a hotel of 200 + people - they charge you an extra fee for facilities that you basically cannot use much - it’s basically a party place that does hotel - windows are modern but thin so you can hear party at night

A nicely presented hotel and room in a decent location - just 10-15 minutes away from Hollywood's premier cinemas, walk of fame and other attractions on Hollywood Boulevard. It's a short Uber away from WB and Universal studios. It's also close to stop one of The Bus Tour options (Big Bus and Starlight) - which we used to get around, learn about the area and get all the way to Venice Beach. The restaurant on the roof of the hotel is okay too - with a limited menu but a fantastic view. You can even see the Hollywood sign as you dine! The room itself was contemporary and well presented. There was also has a decent gym.

The hotel is located on the edge of an upcoming area. Walking to Hollywood Boulevard took us through some rundown areas - you probably wouldn't want to walk through alone at night. You see the two ends of the wealth spectrum in LA and it is very apparent here. Our room was on the left side of the hotel, as you walk in. There was noise from an adjacent building throughout the night (some sort of aircon units or something) that could keep a light sleeper awake and required earplugs!

The hotel staff is amazing and helpful and the welcome is good. The room is modern and big enough and housekeeping does a good job cleaning and organizing the room. (last night they didn’t clean the room). There is a smart tv, iPad for music, and a safe as well. They will bring whatever you need in one phone call (slippers, shaving kit etc..) I’d recommend having brunch at the highlight room on the top floor or visiting it at night for a party.

Only minor thing is that the carpet in the room is dirty and has spots on it. I’d recommend having brunch at the highlight room on the top floor or visiting it at night for a party. Note that this hotel is in Hollywood (very close to Hollywood BL) so expect it to be 1- loud (thin walls, and is adjacent to a busy restaurant/nightclub “TAO” that will blast music that you can hear from your room until right after 2am) 2- busy hotel and area (people and cars. at busy times ie weekend nights it takes ~20 minutes to arrive by car for a distance of 1km) 3- The hotel only has valet Parking and it costs $60. It also takes time to bring the car (~10-15 minutes). Next to the hotel there is off street parking that is $40 overnight if you negotiate with them (ask for unlimited ins and outs)

The lobby space was beautiful; staff wonderful; held our bags in the morning without charge; and loved the room with the little living room couch area, separate bedroom and bathroom.

Coffee machine in room. The single tile in the bathroom looks amazing but the shower floods the place then it's very slippery. We had to lay down our towels. The bar was closed when we came back to have a drink there. It was a reasonable time, 11:00 at latest.

The hotel was beautiful, loved the art gallery vibe, the friendly staff and a great location with easy access to eateries and shops. The room itself was really well designed and though not large, it didn't feel small by any stretch. I have stayed in many high end hotels and this had the finish of them (and more) but for a great value! Check out the rooftop bar too, it isn't open late on the week days but it is a great view!

The only thing that let this down, literally the only thing, was the wifi. It was sloooooooow. So much so, to take a meeting in the morning I ended up having to book a room at the wework 100yrds away so I could get the speeds I needed. I couldn't actually even work on emails in my room at night which sucked (and also didn't). It may have been a fault with the broadband, but if it isn't....please fix it, because it was only 2mbps download speed and registering 0.1mbps upload speeds, which is not sufficient to do anything in todays world. But honestly, that is the only downside.

The hotel design was great, and the room size very good. staff were lovely! we had a great stay here ❤️. Neil at the front desk when we checked in was great 🤩. and you hotel reception staff were lovely in general. The robot was awesome! great addition to the hotel.

The pool area felt a little cramped sadly. The prices of the cafe for coffee and pastries was a bit too high. $30+ for two coffees, 2 pastries and two small waters is excessive. we ended up ordering from Starbucks everyday instead which is a shame for your hotel. you should offer better value and convenience. it’s not ideal to have to leave the lobby, go outside and up a separate public lift to access the pool facilities. having direct access from our room floors would be better and more comfortable. The hostess at the roof pool/bar area was unfriendly when we were trying to get information about getting a table or loungers etc. they were not interested in helping considering we were hotel guests.

I liked the easy access in and out of the hotel, the location was good if you want to be close to Hollywood boulevard but not so close the the craziness. we Uber everywhere so not cheap. the hotel is new modern and clean majority of the staff were nice but some were not very knowledgeable and you didn’t get answers to things - one staff member stood out the most his name was Daniel, he was polite and empathetic, he provided great customer service and was kind. he was the only person to do something about the complaints raised whiles others would say “oh really sorry about that”

I think I got off on the wrong foot because when we first got to our room I noticed that it wasn’t serviced properly, it was set up for a single person although I had previously reached out to the hotel and told them it was our honeymoon - the shampoo and conditioner was not refilled but left on empty and every time we asked for them to refill it we were told that they don’t have or couldn’t provide. we asked for towels and sometimes they responded sometimes we were ignored. I felt that they don’t really communicate with each but I wouldn’t say don’t stay in the hotel - it’s just feedback would def return if I wanted to stay in the Hollywood area again.

The hotel is wonderful! The main lobby is beautiful, spacious and updated. The room was also renovated very nicely (although a bit dark) and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed having access to the pool on the rooftop (wish the hours were a bit later to enjoy past 6pm but still wonderful!) Appreciated the water stations in the lobby and at the pool. Very kind and helpful front desk agent helped us check in early and was very kind to us for our honeymoon. Would recommend and stay here again!

The price of the croissants were quite steep but they were nice to have as a quick breakfast option in the lobby.

Interior design, location, ambiance all A+

The weird angling of the open armoire door was just inches enough to barricade myself in the bathroom of my hotel room for 3 hours. The sliding bathroom door was obstructed by the open door of the armoire. Without phone in reach to contact for assistance also with hotel room door deadbolt engaged, if it were not for dismantling a clothes hanger in which a bathrobe hung on, and attempting to derail the sliding door off its track, I’m not certain what would of happened, however also strange as the bathroom sliding door did not have any handle or lever on the inside to grab onto. This here experience will always be a reminder upon any hotel bathroom. *Photo was taken after my escape
