Loved the ambiance and history of the place! Super friendly helpful efficient staff. Great location downtown for the events we were attending. Clean quiet room.

An extra $100 a day for parking and amenities. The good deal turned out to be not so good. But kind of what you expect for DTLA. Also, for a large hotel, they don't have much to offer for breakfast. The restaurant is very small, so no tables were available. Waited 15 minutes in line for coffee at the walk-up coffee bar and they were out of muffins, pastries, etc. Only a few chairs to sit down and enjoy coffee... Just know that all the coffee shops in this area of DTLA are closed on weekends! During the week you can go across the street to Starbucks. The hotel should be better prepared on weekends knowing that information.

Love the historic feel and look of it. Beautiful sealings, very friendly and helpful staff. Kids loved walking the halls, seeing and reading the history of the hotel. 100 yrs in service this year.

The only thing I can complain about is the 45 dollars it costs to self park in the hotel parking structure. Or pay 65 for Valet. The room was nice and spacious. The only thing that sucked was that the two double beds were small, not queen size. I'm 6,4 so I felt like I was sleeping in my kids' bed.

I am from Los Angeles, and I have stayed here when I lived here and now I stay here when we are back in LA. The staff is really nice and friendly, and seem happy. The rooms are always cleaned properly. There have been little things that when we call front desk, they are super fast to respond. The parking is 50 dollars a night, but you can go in and out. It feels safe, which is important to us because we have children. They have a restaurant, which food is good. Only thing I wish they had was room service. Lots of persons watch doors in front and in parking lot lobby. I believe this is best hotel for us. Love the history of this hotel, and I hope to keep visiting.

Not many places to walk to close by. Wish they had car service, to drop off nearby places.

Received a Great room! Being a older Hotel, I was afraid of stuff creaking and making noises. Luckily I had none of those experiences. Hotel is very well maintained, great amenities, and of course almost nothing beats the Location. Overall, amazing value and definitely one of the best hotels in Downtown Los Angeles for its price.

Parking. Price and placement, it was a pain to go down to the elevators, thru Lobby to go back up to the Parking lot and vise versa, and the 45 $ price for that was a bit much.

Downtown LA was pretty central to everything we wanted to do and the close proximity to Angels Flight and Grand Central Market is really nice! We liked having a fridge in our room and we had quite a bit of space to move around. It was a busy weekend for the hotel, with a convention/talent search happening, but we never felt like we waited a long time for an elevator or for breakfast at the cafe. Check-in/out was super easy and quick and everyone we encountered was polite.

The parking structure is kind of a nightmare if you don't like going in circles. The self-park spots are on floors 8-10, which takes quite a bit of time to access. There's no direct entrance from parking into the hotel and you have to either walk around or take a flight of stairs and cross the main driveway to get to the hotel entrance. There is a small ADA elevator for the stairs and they do offer valet. Also, our room was facing Pershing Square and on one of our nights there was a concert happening. It didn't bother us, but for some people I can see how it would be frustrating to have a concert going on until late into the evening. We chose to enjoy the free concert and our kids were so tired from the day, they fell asleep despite the noise.

The building itself is a grand beaux arts grand hotel in downtown LA, only one block away from the US bank tower and Central library, the main entrance is facing the Pershing Square which in turn, next to a metro entrance, it is very accessible to main attraction, 30 mins away from Hollywood and 50 mins from Santa Monica, it is within walking distance (5-7 mins) to central market and Historic Boardway District. The hotel itself is featured in numerous movies, Tv programs and music video so it is quite interesting experience.

DTLA seems to have experienced quite some deterioration in social orders, while within the hotel vicinity is totally safe, there are significant amount of homelessness and crackhead in the areas, some of the hotel aspects has shown aging, but generally in good shape and hygienic.

My booking was without breakfast nonetheless the hotel was centrally located, cleanliness was top notch. Very helpful and courteous staff .. we’d definitely stay again

The rooms although extremely clean did not match to the grand entrance and lobby of the hotel. We asked for an additional night stay but were offered at 3 times the original cost that I had paid for 4 nights. They cd have made an exception as I was already staying there for 4 nights.. had to move out for a night which was quite an hassle. With lots of explaining yet they did not budge..

Beautiful hotel, fantastic location : only a few minutes walk from Pershing Square Station. Close to many good restaurants & attractions. Enjoyed my stay at The Biltmore. Would recommend this hotel. Thanks to Booking.com for an excellent deal for 4N stay.

1. The lady who served me when I checked in at about 10pm (flight delayed) was very efficient but not friendly. 2. No bottled water in the room. I expected Housekeeping to replenish bottled water on a daily basis. Had to ask for bottled water the 4days I was there. 3. bath/shower a bit outdated.

Awesome historical hotel , lovely stay , amazing food ...overall lovely experience...5 stars

Just that it gets too noisy at nights because of no sound proofing as it's been maintained the old way , with the sports cars around the hotel revving their engines late at nights...hotel is v much peaceful inside , but outside noise I think should be handled some possible way....as for people coming from Long flights, need v sound sleep to be ready to enjoy the city next day...this is not a complaint for such a beautiful hotel....just that something should be done about this...

I loved the historical magnificence of this hotel and enjoyed walking around taking in the views and photographing it all. The rooms were outdated but still beautiful, in my opinion. I would stay here again.

We had breakfast at Smeraldi. The service we received from the female waitress with long black curly hair was absolutely AWFUL. She was pissed off, making faces at us, replied to us with snarky remarks when we asked a simple question about the truffle sauce on the Biltmore Benedict. We saw her yelling in another room at what looked like the chef... and it took her 45 minutes to bring us coffee and never brought us water. 😑 I've NEVER had such a rude server in my life. The ladies sitting next to us, Were not served at all for over an hour. The waitress refused to serve them lunch, because she was told she only served breakfast. They left after 90 minutes there....
