Loved the ambiance and history of the place! Super friendly helpful efficient staff. Great location downtown for the events we were attending. Clean quiet room.

An extra $100 a day for parking and amenities. The good deal turned out to be not so good. But kind of what you expect for DTLA. Also, for a large hotel, they don't have much to offer for breakfast. The restaurant is very small, so no tables were available. Waited 15 minutes in line for coffee at the walk-up coffee bar and they were out of muffins, pastries, etc. Only a few chairs to sit down and enjoy coffee... Just know that all the coffee shops in this area of DTLA are closed on weekends! During the week you can go across the street to Starbucks. The hotel should be better prepared on weekends knowing that information.

A living piece of 100-year history — a true hotel-museum. Staying here feels like stepping into a different era, with an atmosphere that transports you to the past. The sense of grandeur and vintage luxury is remarkable. So many iconic movies have been filmed here, and you can feel that cinematic magic throughout the property. Everything was perfect.

The only downside is the location. The streets immediately around the hotel, especially to the sides, require some caution — particularly at night, as there are quite a few homeless individuals in the area.

A very nice experience to be in such a historic hotel. I expected the least from some of the reviews stating TLC is needed and cleanliness is questionable. Sure the hotel is old but it was very luxurious, well looked after and clean. The beds were acceptable, linens amazing and staff were all excellent. I really liked seeing all the photos of all the movies filmed there. The lobby is gorgeous and the in-room facilities are good. I generally had a very good stay and experience.

The cafe was closed and moved to the bar. The coffee was truly horrible and dispensed from a huge warm water container. The food was really expensive and really not very good at all. Not value for money, but this is to be expected with most hotels in my opinion. Room service did not work and seems to not come from the hotel but some kind of delivery service which does not function in the app or qr code. Front desk never answers when you call. Housekeeping told me they didn't have wine glasses...Which was a little strange.

The hotel was amazing and beautiful, especially in terms of its architecture. The room was big and comfortable and clean. The facilities are good but a little bit old. There is a gallery inside the hotel which you can see the old picture of events in the past and movie which shoot in this location. The location is close to all public transport, including train stations and buses. It is easy to travel to Disneyland and the outlet. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel with direct access to Disneyland and the Citadel Outlet.

The facilities like swimming pool and gym were good but it is a little bit old and locate underground.

A beautiful part of LA history, the lobby and bar and stunning.

Overall it's quite tired and staff are just a bit "meh" no one was proactive. Checking in was large queues. The water station in the lobby was always empty. There was a long black hair on the bathroom wall on day one (I'm blonde def wasn't mine) and 3 days later after daily room service it was still there. I asked the concierge to see if there was availability for a lunch reservation at marmont they never tried and never called back (I rocked up there and there was plenty of room) I asked for a wine opener and their only option was to go to the bar with the wine and they charged $40 US plus 20% tip.

Love the historic feel and look of it. Beautiful sealings, very friendly and helpful staff. Kids loved walking the halls, seeing and reading the history of the hotel. 100 yrs in service this year.

The only thing I can complain about is the 45 dollars it costs to self park in the hotel parking structure. Or pay 65 for Valet. The room was nice and spacious. The only thing that sucked was that the two double beds were small, not queen size. I'm 6,4 so I felt like I was sleeping in my kids' bed.

The Biltmore lobby and building boast breathtaking architecture with a rich history, having hosted events like the Academy Awards (Oscars) multiple times. The hotel features four stunning ballrooms that you might be lucky enough to visit. The staff here is truly exceptional—the best I've ever encountered at any hotel—polite, super kind, and genuinely warm. We’ll deeply miss both the place and the wonderful people who treated us so warmly. The Christmas decorations were absolutely amazing, adding to the magical atmosphere. We spent hours exploring the hotel and enjoying its charm. Don’t forget to check out the pool!

- Expensive parking ($50 per night) - The toilet was a bit outdated and showed signs of wear, including rust, which detracted from the overall experience. - The pool's water could be cleaner.

Well, I didn't know the hotel didn't have facilities, such as a concierge and room service. Pretty much felt like we were on our own in that respect. I took ill, and had to see a doctor - asked the front desk, where I was advised to go to emergency care at the local hospital, where security there kindly sent me on to another clinic, as their nn-medical visual assessment of me was that, well, I may not fit in with the local clientelle (transients etc) - I felt the hotel sent me into the wilderness, and to be honest, personal risk.

What there was, was great. However, being new to LA, I really could have used the non-existent brochure stand at the non-existent concierge's desk, and being ill on my last day there, could have used non-existent room service. Oh - and the housekeeping crew could be retrained on timing between knocking and entering a room - and entering the room when do not disturb sign is hanging on the door (a sign we had to ask for at front desk as there wasn't one, was barged in on, to make it necessary)

Very grand hotel in downtown LA. Very nice bar with great cocktails. Decent cafes and coffee shops nearby and a great Japanese restaurant (Mrs Fish) with a fantastic rooftop bar just around the corner. Large and comfortable rooms.

The street noise was quite loud from 5am. A colleague had a room which didn't overlook the street and he said his room was quiet, so maybe ask for that. The breakfast was OK.

Building and art and architecture were stunning. Location was perfect, we could walk to a lot of places. Good selection of workout equipment and pool was nice.

Pretty expensive for such a small room. Food in restaurant was so-so. Gym had no staff and no cleaning supplies for wiping down the equipment. Also showers were not clean. Overall seems short staffed. When we left the one bellman was helping someone else and no one else had a key to where our luggage was being stored. Not even security! One man had his Lyft waiting 40 min just so he could get his bag. It was odd.
