This is a lovely historic property with quaint rooms, beautifully manicured courtyard and great breakfast. We also appreciated the staff. They were sweet and attentive, eager to cater to our needs and make sure we have a great stay.

We had the misfortune of staying at the same time as a rather rowdy group of guests who occupied the pool, played their own music with no regard to the rules and treated the hotel staff with zero respect. We felt bad for the staff and appreciated their attempts to manage these inconsiderate guests.

It is a really nice, small and quiet Adult hotel. The staff was Great. Location was perfect. Parking was good. There was a nice veiw of the mountains from the Hotel. Overall we liked the Hotel

The appliances in the room weren't the best. The Toaster in our room did not work. The microwave was difficult to operate. the coffee maker took up the whole counter top, it was way too big. The toilet backed up on our last morning from almost nothing in the bowl. there was NO plunger in the room. I had to get help from the staff to locate a Plunger from the room next door. The small safe was not bolted down to anything and could be carried out the door anytime.

Amazing staff. Tons of amenities; breakfast food like yogurts, hard boiled eggs, bagels, muffins, fresh fruit, coffee and more. We got an afternoon cocktail and popcorn and snacks anytime we wanted them. We got water in our rooms and even sparking water. Staff was amazing and kudos to Terri who made our stay so enjoyable, she went above and beyond expectations. Adult only and pool was open. 24/7, with only 14 rooms you can’t beat it. Our room had two bathrooms, a kitchen, bar area, dining area, living room and two beds in the bedroom. Perfect for our girls trip.

The only minor complaint was the couch in the family room area. It was a bit dated and needs to be replaced. A sleeper sofa type couch would be a perfect compliment to all you offer.

Small, quiet hotel with friendly staff. Desk clerk gave us a personal tour of the facilities upon check-in, and even mixed a couple of margaritas up for us shortly after. Garden like setting around the pool with nice music piped in along with tiki torches, candles, etc. lit up at night. Overall a very nice, chill vibe to the place.

Their water pressure might be a bit high. Someone took a shower above us one night and the plumbing was screaming for the few minutes the shower was going. Not a deal breaker however.

This is a gem in the desert, a lovely, small B&B with well-appointed and very comfortable rooms to include sink, micro-wave, fridge. It also has a fully equipped kitchen for guest use where a lovely breakfast of treats, yogurts, breads, jams is laid out each morning. The heated pool and jacuzzi are located in a lush courtyard full of flowers, hummingbirds and private areas. The staff is exceptionally nice and accommodating to any requests.

There was nothing to dislike.

The hotel is in a great location in Palm Springs. It's old school and the effort and friendliness of staff was outstanding. Every evening candles were lit around the courtyard. Music carefully chosen and staff working away planting things and making it all look good. The pool was lovely to have and there is constant access to a little kitchen. From one side of the pool you could see the desert mountains. We really enjoyed our stay... the perfect choice!

The pool was a bit too warm! Otherwise it was all really great especially the staff!

Inner courtyard was very nice with lush plants and clean swimming pool & hot tub. Staff very friendly and helpful and kitchen facilities were very good. Nice to have onsite parking. Hotel seemed very secure.

We had never spent $400 a night on a hotel room and have traveled extensively for over 50 years and have stayed in much nicer rooms for 1/4th of the price! The room had been cleaned, but it was very dated and not inviting at all. Some 9of the walls were dirty and needed to be repainted. In the bathroom upstairs next to the tub was a significant wall repair that was unsightly. Certainly not what we expected for what we paid!

The rooms were very comfortable, decent sized, and very clean. Complimentary snacks and drinks were provided, which was great. The pool was very nice.

I would have preferred to be able to walk to downtown, which was just a bit too far to walk, but that isn't the hotels fault. I'm sure there are hotels farther away. The breakfast was just okay, but I wasn't expecting anything amazing. Overall, it's very hard to find criticism with this place.

This is a cozy little hotel just outside of downtown Palm Springs. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The pool and outside area are filled with tropical plants and there seemed to be enough tables and chairs for everyone. Misters were a bonus on hot days. They offer a very full continental breakfast (cereal, toast,, boiled eggs, packaged muffins) and have a full kitchen available for guests to use. There are also bikes which are free for guests to use. The room was clean and nicely decorated. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The plumbing worked but needed a little tweaking to address a leaky shower faucet. There is nothing else that we didn’t like for found problematic.

The Hotel California Palm Springs has everything and then some for an enjoyable stay in the beautiful dessert environs. The hotel is and ideal place to hunker down, relax, and enjoy the Palm Springs sunshine poolside all day long. The pool area patio, which is surrounded by just the right amount of flora and much greenery, gets abundant sunshine until pretty much until sundown sundown, and even after the sun goes down; you can still hangout in the patio (cold beer or chilled glass of wine in hand) area poolside and bask in the twilight and then the candle light the staff provided by the staff. The hotel’s fleet of cruiser type bicycles are the perfect light mornig of late afternoon workout to go explore the surrounding neighborhoods and admire the beautiful Palm Springs Architecture. The community kitchen, where you go for the light breakfast, has a full range stove and bbq. The kitchen is very well stocked with cooking, serving, and plating utensils needed to prepare a full dinner, lunch, a more extensive breakfast or just cocktails and snacks for an afternoon/evening of just hanging out. The Hotel California is impressive in how they care for their guests. A special acknowledgement for Jessica who made my checkin welcoming and pleasant!

All of the positives and the great time I enjoyed during my stay at the Hotel California Palm Springs diminish any dislikes to the point I can’t even think of them.
