the ridiculous expensive parking price! while 90% from San Diego is free parking, I don't understand why they need to charge $30!!!!!!! per night, it's outrageous, I was very disappointed to find out that it's $30 per night! x2 from what I paid to park my vehicle at the airport in Seattle

The location was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we encountered problems. The room had everything we needed and was spacious enough. Beds were comfy too.

The first room we had had a broken shower head and the tub was a bit plugged up/slow to drain. The toilet paper holder was broken. Bathrooms have no exhaust fan either. The water in the toilet, the sink and the shower was a brownish yellow but staff said it was due to the pouring rain all day - fortunately the staff were very helpful and kind and moved us to a new room with no hassle.

I've stayed here many times before as my daughter is in college nearby. It's very convenient, generally clean and comfortable and the staff are very helpful with easy parking, etc.

It was a bit overcrowded this time, and the clientele I think strained it a bit on this trip. For example, there was a bunch of trash in one of the elevators when I walked in one day, etc. Plus it was quite a bit more expensive than usual this time. That said, the weekend I stayed was the most full I've ever seen this hotel (it is popular), so I think it was just an anomaly due to the statistics of the big crowd there over the weekend. So these exceptions aren't the fault of the hotel.

I liked the location of the hotel. I have been at this hotel so, I like how kind staff is.

The room we stayed in felt haunted. We saw my glass case move by itself. At night it felt like there was a presence in the room. Like I said, we have stayed before at this hotel and the other times we haven't felt like this time.

The hotel is safe, modern, spacious, clean and excellent value. This was my daughter’s second time there and my first. The gym was an excellent size with a decent amount of equipment. I will use it next time. The pool and seating area was nice, although we didn’t use it. I liked the size of the room that we had with 2 queen beds and it had a fridge and microwave - both useful. I had breakfast one morning and it was nice to be able to buy breakfast at the hotel or get snacks. The staff were friendly and helpful. Only a few minutes drive from the Fashion Valley mall.

The shower heads are fixed.

Extremely clean , everyone was wonderful, The gentleman at the front desk John J AkA JJ was REMARKABLE, he made my family and I feel so welcomed and went above and BEYOND for us!! Like I’m not kidding this man made our stay so wonderful we didn’t want leave , he greeted us by name every time we walked by , if we had a issue (which was nothing ) he made sure it was taken care of! It was my daughters 18th bday Sunday the 9th of March and I wanted to get her a cake so me and my husband asked where we could get one and without hesitation he had Chef Robert whip one up for us it was DELICIOUS!!! JJ definitely made us feel welcomed and like family while we were there, in fact on our long ride home my husband I talked about our next trip out coming back to the courtyard just because of JJ and his exceptional treatment of my family and I ! The hotel is convenient and the staff is nice and resourceful. The bedroom are a little small and there is not breakfast included. The restaurant in the hotel choices are very limited. The heated pool is fabulous but can become very busy and the water is a little messy. great for the money. paying for the parking is annoying.
