Good size room, very clean, comfortable mattress, good water pressure and hot water in the shower, friendly staff, near shops and restaurants. Super quiet air conditioner, lovely swimming pool, stable wi fi.

Booking.com recommended this as the closest to Lassen Volcanic National Park. But the drive to the park's gate took about 90 minutes even though Booking indicated 45 minutes. The algorithm is incorrect. When discovered, hotels/motels of similar quality closer to the park could not provide me with the required one-week stretch. Breakfast is dull - only industrial quality yogurt, surgery granola and inexpensive industrial pastry + apples. Room faced the non-poetic view (and sound) of a tire shop. Yet the trade-off was worth it, excellent a/c.

The room was clean. The beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was great and clean. The staff were very friendly.

I left a detailed note when I reserved the room stating that my wife uses a walker to get around. I requested a downstairs room because of this concern. When we arrived, we were told we were the last arrivals that night and the only room available was upstairs. I mentioned that I informed the website to left the motel know this information. The clerk said they recieved no notice of this. It was very difficult for my wife to make her way upstairs. We managed but in the future we will notify the motel ourselves instead of depending on the website to pass any important info on.

The room was very clean. The water was hot and had great pressure. Everyone who worked there was very friendly. The woman in the breakfast room have us some wonderful information on the town history and a great recommendation on where to view some great murals of the history.

Walking from there was a bit iffy because of the strange intersection in front of the property. Not a deal breaker, just need to be extra aware of traffic. The carpet was very clean but VERY stained. Even tho I knew it was clean I was still skeezed out about it.

I read the Google reviews, and I was a little bit scared, but I was pleasantly surprised that this was a perfectly good, well maintained, nicely located place. It's definitely the kind of place where working folks stay - The parking lot was full when I rolled in in the evening, and it was nearly empty at about 6:30 a.m. I found it a pleasant practical no frills experience. It's located basically at the gate of the Susanville fairgrounds, so maybe sometimes of the year it's pretty raucous, but it was very fine and restful for me.

It's a little bit tired here and there, I guess. It really was fine.

The hotel was renovated since we stayed there a couple of years ago, and what a welcome change it is! The room was clean, the bed terrific, and we could open a window rather than run the AC all night. The staff were wonderful, both the check-in clerk and the woman staffing the breakfast room.

The breakfast was very sub-par: coffee/teas, instant oatmeal, 2 kinds of cold cereal, cheap/poor-quality unhealthful packaged pastries, apple and orange juice, yogurt, apples. In other words, nearly all the offerings were full of sugar and there was almost zero protein. It would not be that difficult to at least also include hard-boiled eggs, a no-brainer.

Young man that checked me in was so nice and professional. He even double checked that my room was clean. I was concerned about having a quiet room due to my early bed time. He took the time to place me in a room that would be best for me. The motel was quiet even though it was very busy. Excellent location. I plan on making this my regular motel when I travel in the future.

The in room coffee was good. The beds were comfortable, if a little cracker-like. I like the sheets, although one of the top sheet covers was a kind of polyester, but that was above the crisp cotton sheets. Towels were good sized and thick. Plumbing worked well. There is a walmart right across the street, an easy walk, so that was handy. Morning desk staff could get me a discount on two non prepaid rooms, which was great on more actual value for money. Breakfast was a bit sparse but one could make it happen with the oatmeal, yogurt, and cold cereal. I didn't try that version of coffee, but I heard it was good. Outdoor pool was a bonus, only one of our group could use it because we got in so late.

Check in for 7 rooms was a bit bumpy. That crew could not get a me a discount on 2 non prepaid rooms, but the morning crew could do it, which is great. The price on the prepaid rooms was a bit dear for what we got, however, the property was sold out, so I should be glad I could sleep 26 people in our group. Watch your footing walking around outside at night...although they have paint markings on them, there is an inordinate amount of short steps and curbs trying to trip the inattentive traveller.

Great room with all we needed to relax and prepare to continue our camping experiences. My wife is disabled and the property gave her all the access and comfort she needed after camping in our van for a week. The location was great with all the stores and other services you require while traveling.

The TV service was no good for us. The provider failed to cover most of the selections we would have enjoyed.

A clean, spacious room. Fridge, microwave. All I needed was there and in a great working condition. Comfortable bed, good pillows. The motel is next to the highway, but I did not hear it's noise.

Some noise in the eventing, coming from outside of the facility. It sounded like there was a racing track or something not too far. The good news that this noise was not there late in the night.

Loved that there was an extra chair in the room. The bed was comfortable and and everything was spotless. The receptionist/manager that checked us in, we very helpful and kind. I over heard her dealing with a challenging situation that could have blown up in her face if she had the wrong attitude or her word choices were considered. The gentleman that she dealt with went away very happy, and the situation was resolved.

I'm a diabetic, so there isn't enough protein at the breakfast. I understand how hard it is to fit every single person's dietary needs when you are a hotel. I know it is great for many people. So I don't normally say anything. What I did truly appreciate was when I asked what breakfast consisted of, I was told exactly what would be there. So I didn't waste my time to run in and check.
