The location was great, Uptown Whittier has tons of great food walking distance from the hotel. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly.

The pillows were awful. Even using two or three it was like I wasn't using one at all, my head sunk straight to the mattress. There were a handful of minor details that seemed to be overlooked, like the light switch cover in the bathroom not flush against the wall. There was a chunk of carpet missing right outside the bathroom. I also had made my reservation through booking.com I needed to change it and booking had me message the hotel, but I never received a response.

Great location.

Reservation wasn't as described. The Hotel was overbooked and our room wasn't available. We we traveling for a funeral and the fact we weren't booked it what we reserved was a huge stress and dissatisfer. The Hotel acknowledged they were basically overbooked and do this routinely. We were allowed to move rooms after the weekend when they didn't have the traffic. The Hotel did use bike chains to lock the doors heading outside except for the main entrance. This definitely made it so people not welcome couldn't enter the Hotel but the flip side is if there was a fire you definitely couldn't leave the property due to the chain which was outside the building.

When we arrived, we were told that all Hilton systems had crashed and they had to manually check us in and walk us up to our rooms and hopefully give us a key card once the system was back up and despite the long waits, this staff was extremely nice and apologetic.

I did not like that. There was no microwave in ourrow and none of the ice machines on the floor had ice. We had to go down to the lobby for that.

Room was very clean. Usually I never sleep under the cover, because it never feels clean enough for me. But this place was an exception.

The HVAC was not working properly. I turned on the heater, but It felt like the AC kicked on for a while before the heat pump valve was switched on to heat, I'm an HVAC servicer. Anyway that unit needs maintenance repair. No one came to clean my room. Don't know if that's normal or not, but I used up all my bath towels. And had to re-use them the next day. No big deal, but usually hotels I've stayed at, clean and replace towels etc. Just wondering.

I love location in Whittier. Close to Uptown events. Hotel is spacious and pool area very tropical and clean. I love to watch the kids having fun in the pool. Most of the staff were happily accommodating but management not so friendly.

Do not appreciate lack of food availability and no microwave in rooms. If you eat breakfast after 9, you are out of luck. If you want to heat up your coffee in your room, no luck. You have to walk down to front desk area and use a tiny microwave in lobby.

Clean and comfy beds, shower and overall room. Eessentials included are safe, iron and ironing board. Plenty of movies and other entertainment channels. Mini fridge came in handy. Gym , jacuzzi and pool a plus. Staff was very accomodating and flexible. We stayed in pool area past check out and front desk were very nice, noting our room was cleared and allowed us to stay. Great overall experience and would definitely stay there again if in the area.

A microwave would have been nice for popcorn or to reheat leftovers.

Rooms are always clean, enjoy the in room coffee, super comfy beds. The linens are so nice we purchased some for home. Warm cookies are great.

My only complaint is the mini fridge is either super cold to the point of freezing, or hot. Drinks either needed to defrost or required ice. An in room microwave option in some rooms would be nice.

Customer service was great; very helpful and quick to check in and out. The pool area was very nice and relaxing with greenery and flowers surrounding it with tables and chairs to sit. Pool and sauna looked inviting. Loved the hotel, elegant and clean, staff was great including housekeeping.

Cleanliness, room size

The lobby is cold, the heaters in the room blow frerzing air right after the hot air the lighting is minimal only one side of the bed has a nightstand so the other person in the bed has his or her important items on the floor there wasnt a flor towel available we improvised and used a hand towel to stand dripping wet , the lobby or customer service just isnt welcoming a simple smile as you pass bye shriverring would go a long way

Confortable , near some restaurants , neighboorhood is secure, the place isn t noise.

We didn t like to request housekeeping, we were staying for a week its given that the room would need be clean (take a garbage out and the towels<) The Breakfast is so high for what correspond to nones varied
